Tales of the House of Temptation - Updated July 16th 2016

My goal is to finish it all before the end of 2015. I cannot promise this.

I think you writing out the characters in the enemy creation forum is going to draw a lot more attention to your game. Will there actually be visuals like that in the game?

Not likely. The Character CG's I used didn't come with very good visuals. At least, I don't think they did... can't find the exhentai albums again.

Ah, that's ok then. I think the game will be great with or without the visuals.

3) As far as scenes go, I'm fine with anything debauched except loli stuff. I know there's the trope, "they look 12, but they're actually 1,200 years old", but it actually creeps me out more. Not gonna boycott you for doing it, hell I clicked on the twins just to see what would happen, but admittedly skimmed through it to abate my growing discomfort.

As far as other content goes, I enjoyed the Lisa stuff the most. The drinking game, the hot tub were very enjoyable. I think as far as personalities go, you could include a tsundere, didn't really have one in the original HoT, right?

Oh and while the CGs will be missed, they're not necessary. Just be sure to give us extra good description

As regarding the other questions, I'd prefer TextAdventures.com.uk (if it was called that, I don't remember) as I don't have the quest engine and doubt I'll download it, and also it could be easier for you to check how many people played it.

And to the requests...Well, I don't have any specific requests, just go with whatever you want, but if there's still variety to choose from (like HoT, there's different girls for diffferent things), it'd be awesome.

As of today, my second part-time job as my company's Courier is finished. From now until the 20th, I should have tons of free time to write, write, write... except I'm going to spend the weekend with my long-distance girlfriend, so starting Monday I'll have lots of free time to write, write, write.

Writing has resumed. I intend to finish off the Character Entries for the Liltists before resuming work on the plot.

For the record, you'll only meet two of the Liltists in the game, and I have no intention of telling you which ones before the release. The same will be true of the Delilah Coven, as well as the Remnants of the Old Guard, for a total of Six new Succubi or Incubi to meet in the coming game. There will, of course, be other characters to meet, too...

Still, having all of the characters written out and posted will serve me much like a toolbox - I'm investing in a fuckton of tools now, so I can have them ready for use whenever I have a job to do that requires them.

The only question, then, is when you'll all get to meet them.

Like, I'll finish Tales of the House of Temptation, then release it as a separate game... then Assault On The House of Temptation, release that separately... but then somehow import them all into the same game, use flags to unlock chapters from the main menu, and then every game thereafter will be built in as a new installment... How would you guys feel about that?

sure if you can implement a save system or something otherwise repeatedly tales to get to assault every time you close it will get annoying. hmm a simple password might also work

As an update, progress is slow at the moment. I'm having difficulty finding time and will to write, but I'm making it happen. I'm at 9 pages out of an initial 74, which may increase as time goes on, so I'm currently at a tentative 12-ish percent complete, not counting all the work done on character profiles. I've go to finish up the Liltist profiles and I've still got the Delilah and Remnant characters to do, so I'm something like 35 or 40 percent complete on that whole thing.

You guys will like the Delilah Coven. Their techniques focus on weakening their prey, and they, of course, make use of kisses. Liltists not so much, but Delilahs? Oh yes. Ooooooh yes.

So, as a quick overview - The Lucidus coven focuses on messing with your mind. Liltists use Siren-like Songs. Delilahs weaken their prey before they have their way. And the Sabbath coven? Well, that's a surprise for Chapter 3.

take your time and an enjoy your work it'll be pointless if you have fun writing it(unless your just doing it for the praise in that case I can call up a slave driver to motivate you)

To anyone reading this, I need some assistance to finish up the Character Profiles for the Liltist coven. Specifically, for Kyron - I can't seem to find a picture to use for his Profile. So after a lot of searching, I'm crowd-sourcing this particular necessity.

Kyron: "A man of mixed race, Kyron's bronze skin and small frame belay the common notion of an intelligence-stealing Agent."

I need a drawing, sketch, or similar image of an African-American man in a business suit. Anime theme is preferred, not necessary. Skin tone should be only a little dark - again, he's a man of mixed race. The biggest thing, though, is just that he not have the overly-stereotypical "thug" look that is too often applied to black men of wealth - that look simply does not apply to this character.

So, if anyone can spend five or ten minutes searching, I'd greatly appreciate it. It seems to be much harder than I thought to find such an image, and I really don't want to change the character.

Edit: I've got something, but it's not quite right. If no one suggests a pic in the next... I dunno, let's just do 24 hours; if there are no suggestions in the next 24 hours, I'll just use the one I've got.

Worse comes to worse, you can always replace it at a later date.

But I'll try looking.
