I've been meaning to post this on the blog for awhile, but I wanted to wait until I had everything. But here I don't feel compelled to do that, so this topic will be updated with all the instances as they are found. For now, here are two Succubus videos from tyukemonyo. One is from Symphony of the Night the other is from Lament of Innocence.

I think the second succubus kiss (3D version) is probably the best succubus kiss in the whole entire gaming world. Anyone think different then send me a video of a succubus kiss and i will see if its better than that

I highly doubt thats possible. xD

Tyukemonyo and Mugenhenlover on youtube are probably the best source for those moments, although MHL is kind of skitting the line with a warning I think.

Just a note, in Dawn of Sorrow, the witch enemies I realize are blowing a kiss when they cast their spell. Nothing amazing but noteworthy.

I think the Alura Urn summon is nibbling on Soma's neck as well. Hehehe, SP drain.

They better do an even sexier Succubus in the new game.

You're answers have sorta been answered. Konami's sequel to their pachislot Castlevania game features the return of the Succubus (it's the same design as Lament of Innocence) but in the first game she only had one attack, while the sequel gives her the only attack that matters.

The character on the side looks interesting too, but from the trailer she doesn't seem very affectionate.

In other Castlevania news: In addition to the new Europe designed 3D Castlevania, there are two 2D ones coming out soon: Harmony of Despair is also for the HD consoles (PS3, Xbox360) but features the same sprites from the DS games. Maybe they'll fix that and give the succubus a new look too. Also there's a puzzle fighter clone for the iPhone that also recycles sprites, though Alucard's sprite looks different, so maybe they'll touch up some other characters too.

No heart animations??? And it doesnt even look like you get to fight her freely, only by cutscreens....... I hope this isnt the final product but at least she does have a kiss attack.

It's a pachislot game. Meaning the "game" part is just playing pachinko and slots (line up 7's to attack, fail get attacked or something). Of course that means if you live somewhere that doesn't have a pachinko parlor you probably will never play this.

The iphone game does have a succubus as a playable character (!), a first for the Castlevania series, and if this screenshot is any indication, she does have some type of kiss attack. Her sprite is redrawn, though it's based on the SOTN sprite (as is the entire game.) Speaking of the game... it looks horrible if the trailer is any indication I mean, if the puzzle fighter gameplay is copied perfectly it might be fun, but the art and animation are depressing.

And I found another video for the pachislot game. Quality is... more or less the same as the youtube video above, but they cut out the part where the succubus grabs Trevor's chin. Fun starts at 6:00

So, Castlevania Harmony of Despair is out now and in addition to a new voice, the succubus allegedly has the ability to charm the player (like Asharte could in Portrait of Ruin). I saw allegedly because I haven't seen any videos showing it and this is just hearsay from other message boards. I DO know that Charlotte (and maybe Shanoa) can definitely be charmed in the game but...

I know that both those could not be charmed in their respective games(I mean, there is one enemy that can be charmed by Charlotte in PoR, but it's just for laughs)

I'm hoping to get that game soon, maybe even today if I get my paycheck. Me and a friend played a demo and it's pretty epic and I just love me some Castlevania(I've beaten most of them)

I don't think Dracula did it in PoR. Who could be charmed by Charlotte in the original? I don't remember, haha...

But if Shanoa and Charlotte can be charmed that's epic.

Dracula's third form shoots hearts in all directions, which charms females.

The name was Zacchino, he was a fat little man who would always declare his love for Charlotte with a bouquet of roses whenever approached(and always greet Jonathan with a sword to the groin).

Arg, why do they have to go through coding it to prevent females from being charmed by the Succubus, why!? Don't they understand the 3 rules of yuri?

I'm not sure that succubus is any different than the other ones, but that (sadly) might be true. I've discovered there are only succubi in chapters 2 and 6, and I've only seen 2 in each of those, and most people just seem to kill them in 1 or 2 hits.
