Behaviour: The midara appears to men on their birthdays in the Western sphere of the world, offering to tell them the fortune the stars have written for them in exchange for a small reward. Should they accept, they will get vague hints of a distant future and read themselves into the generic predictions she makes, before she seduces them. Should they reject her offer, she seduces them somewhat more forcefully.
Abilities: The midara can use a wide range of abilities granted to her by the stars, making her a formidable opponent. However, the blessings are not unlimited in power: she can only use each ability once per battle, safe for the ability of the star sign that currently reigns the night skies, which can be used up to three times per battle.
Speed of the Ram: Invoking the star sign of the animal that rushes across the plains, the Zodiac Sister does two attacks that turn. It can be two Stamina attacks, two Willpower attacks, or a mix. Each one has to be rolled for separately.
Strength of the Bull: Invoking the star sign of the animal that bulldozes all in its way, the Zodiac Sister attacks with tremendous strength, doing two Stamina damage if the attack connects.
Defense of the Goat: Invoking the star sign of the animal that locks horns with anything attempting to harm it, the Zodiac Sister becomes immune to Stamina damage for two turns. The Zodiac Sister can only have one buff active at a time, any new buff will replace the old one.
Kiss of the Scorpion: Invoking the star sign of the animal that fills its victims with venom, the Zodiac Sister does a Willpower attack that, if succesful, intoxicates her victim with a powerful aphrodisiac. The afflicted adventurer has to make a roll at the start of each round for the next two turns. If he fails, he takes one Willpower damage.
Agility of the Fishes: Invoking the star sign of the animal that speeds through the water, the Zodiac Sister becomes very agile. If the adventurer's attack misses the next round, her next Stamina or Willpower attack automatically connects.
Hold of the Crab: Invoking the star sign of the animal renowned for its vicegrip, the Zodiac Sister does a Willpower attack that, if succesful, embraces her victim in an iron hold. The adventurer must make a roll to succesfully escape during his next turn, or else his turn is wasted on wriggling loose.
Spell of the Scales: Invoking the star sign of the symbol of balance, the Zodiac Sister pools her remaining Stamina and Willpower and divides it in two, rounding down, and never going above her initial cap for both scores.
Flash of the Twins: Invoking the star sign of the living mirror images, the Zodiac Sister sacrifices one Stamina and one Willpower to create a copy of herself, who can do basic Stamina and Willpower attacks, and can act instantly. However, a single succesful attack by the adventurer will destroy the clone.
Aura of the Virgin: Invoking the star sign of the chaste maid whose mind is free of illicit thoughts, the Zodiac Sister starts gains a buff that recovers one Willpower per round upon a succesful roll at the start of each round, which lasts for three turns. The Zodiac Sister can only have one buff active at a time, the new bluff will replace the old one.
Blessing of the Waterbearer: Invoking the star sign of the maiden who carries the water of life in her jug, the Zodiac Sister gains a buff that recovers one Stamina per round upon a succesful roll at the start of each round, which lasts for three turns. The Zodiac Sister can only have one buff active at a time, the new buff will replace the old one.
Resolve of the Lion: Invoking the star sign of the animal that tears its way out of any pinch, the Zodiac Sister boosts her power to the point that she does three Stamina or Willpower damage on her next attack. This action can only be used if the Zodiac Sister's Stamina or Willpower is two or lower.
Charm of the Archer: Invoking the star sign of the heavenly bowman whose arrows cause people's hearts to flutter, the Zodiac Sister does a Stamina attack that, upon success, gives her victim the Charm debuff for the next three turns. While Charmed, he has to make an extra dice roll to overcome his infatuation whenever doing a Stamina attack.
Dance of the Serpent(Finisher): Invoking the secret star sign of the animal that snakes around the heart of its victims, the Zodiac Sister inserts her weakened and addled opponent and rides him like the stars would not burn anymore tomorrow. Her victim gets a Crush on her for their next encounter, making him lose one Willpower at the start of the battle. Can only be used when the opponent has one Stamina or Willpower left, but then it is a guaranteed success.
