A proposal

Hey fellas, it's ya boy guame hitting you up again. I had an idea. I hate seeing unfinished and abandoned stories and rps, so can we make a new rule that someone can continue them if the original writer isn't writing for it anymore? That'd be good especially for users that haven't been on in forever

I don't mind that idea. We would have to work out a time frame though. If anyone has any suggestions let me know.

If the writer is still an active member, maybe they could say they're stepping away from it for a while, and that someone else can take over. If they aren't so active, maybe wait a few months, post to ask to take over, and if nobody responds, then assume you can? I don't know exactly how long would work, but maybe something like that?

As to stories: just do it as alternative canon, make a new thread with a link to the story you're continuing from and ignore time limits, just PM the writer to ask if they're okay with it. I don't mind folks branching off from my stories if they find a conclusion bad or have an idea that would really work for them, and if they split it off in another thread they could do it on the same day for all I care.
