Yugioh anyone?

Was wondering if anybody here plays Yugioh, most people online on Ygopro just have one shot decks that i got sick of seeing.

i haven't played yu gi oh since i was a kid with a physical deck full of blue eyes white dragons and every one of my friends hated me for it.

Sadly I dont even know how the hell to play anymore with all these new fancy-pants rules

Haha, i know that feel. I only started playing again a couple weeks ago and it took me all of those weeks just to learn Xyz, Pendulum is still lost on me though..

Basically pendulum is the most annoying thing to ever be introduced imo

I think i'll just stick to Xyz summoning Yugioh's Star Platinum. OH i'm sorry "Star Cestus".

Man, I remember when I was a kid...I lived in a housing complex, where there are many houses in line, joined with some other lines on other directions (imagine an E formed by houses, if I didn't explain myself correctly.), so there were many kids to play with. And when we started playing Yugioh, none of us knew english (we're from Uruguay, a small spanish-speaking country and the cards' translation to spanish hadn't reached us yet), so we mostly invented the effects of the cards we were using Plus, the limit of cards for a deck, IIRC was either 30 or 50, but our decks at that time were that big that they were troublesome to carry around Ah, those were nice times...

Still, I'm affraid I disconected from that game a long time ago. Just looked at the mechanics you guys just mentioned and...Well...I think it's become too technical for my taste anyway...Guess those days when all you needed was some monster cards, one or two summon cards,a few trap cards and a few spell cards, and then you were set to go, are over...

If you're using Ygopro it's not that bad, it does all of the calculations and effect for you. I'd give it a try if you ever wanted to play again.

I am currently retired from Yugioh. xD I stopped playing it when " CARD GAMES ON MOTORCYCLLLLLES" season was a thing. =w=; ( of course that does not extend to a few of the games, I do enjoy the Tag force games to this day. xP ) Though I used to have a Zombie World/Yubel deck. xD

It really shows my age when I keep thinking XYZ summoning refers to XYZ Dragon Cannon. *sigh*

I mean I know you guys are referring to that thing that's basically a Ritual Summon that's triggered by a monster effect instead of a spell card. But every time I see XYZ in a Yugioh discussion my mind immediately goes to XYZ Dragon Cannon and its component monsters.

Hey, if you're mind goes to dragon cannon it just means you've got good taste, that thing is badass.

Also, I'm kinda into yugioh, I really only play with my brother because I don't really like playing yugioh against strangers. I remember using this silly Winged Kuriboh one shot deck, never actually worked too well though.

Yeah, i feel you there usually i play with friends, that way i don't get called a scrub for not abusing cheap ass pendulums.
