Hi there! Chance are you already know about Millia Wars or even this DX remake, but this DX remake just released a demo in the dlsite, and I must say, it's awesome.

So I tried it, the animation are great and it's cool that they use the same original song they used way back.
And when I thought the kiss was gone...

I was kinda uncertain as to post this in here or the normal section since the effect induced was really minimal, but I think it fits. If it's not, please move this thread to the other section.

I'm an idiot, apparently the tail grab also has a chance to lead into a different kiss.
For this one I think you need to at low SP but not 0 SP, since usually the tail only knocks you back and at 0 SP will lead straight to vore.
Scratch that, I have an instance where I was kissed when at full SP, I don't know how to trigger this one, halp.

Okay you just need to be at close proximity with her, I guess? Damn this is perplexing.

Confirmed by VGDMalcolm that you need to be close with her.

She has two kisses.

One where she does so while you're struggling from the dash grab and the other when she grabs you by the tail and you have a good amount of SP left to drain. You just need to be close to her otherwise the tail just knocks you down.

Also in the original, the harpy also got a kiss, wonder how will that turns out.

I actually think that the original Millia Wars is one of the best designed and executed adult games I've ever played. Really solid and satisfying gameplay with good art and an effective means to deliver its adult content, letting the player experience as much or as little of it as they'd like. There's no struggling out of adult scenes, nor do you ever have to wait for them to finish to continue playing.

I've now seen two games under the same name and setting since, and neither have been quite as good as the original. The first added that damn struggle mechanic in and respawned enemies the instant they were off the screen. The second one (this one) has a far worse health system than the three strikes of the original game, my special meter should never be linked to my health in a Castlevania style platformer. Now the higher resolution and better artwork is nice, but it isn't worth it if my character also takes up 4x as much of the screen. That means smaller battlefields, worse platforming, and a really shit camera. Things get really pixelated with the zoom-in effect and the screen shaking around during scenes is disorientating and potentially nauseating, but at least it looks like they plan to give the option to turn it off.

I'm seeing a lot of people making the same mistake over and over again in their playthroughs. Don't use your special abilities! Your special meter is your more important healthbar, it stops the swallow attacks which take off over half your healthbar and there's no realistic way to recover from that extreme of damage. On the other hand, about 1/5 of the special bar is needed to prevent that attack type and you can refill it much more easily than the health meter.
