Medicine Melancholy

“I promise, you won’t feel a thing...ever again.”

Appearance: A short girl with impeccable pale skin, shining blonde hair curling around a smooth face, and deep blue eyes that sparkle like twin pools. However, one close look at her reveals that this nigh-flawless appearance was not the result of a fortunate birth or a rich family, but rather the product of design. Doll joints are plainly visible all over her body, with only the ones on her face managing to remain hidden. Her outfit does nothing to dissuade this conclusion, with a purple-and-red dress stitched with crimson seams and a large white bow in the back making her resemble a toy that a little girl might have cherished growing up. And perhaps she was, once. But now...she is something else entirely.

Description: A mysterious girl living in a poisonous flower field on a nameless hill. Some think that she was a doll that got thrown away or abandoned by her owner, and eventually gained the ability to move and think after soaking in the flowers’ poisons. Others believe that she was a girl who was murdered long ago, who came back to life to seek vengeance against those who wronged her. Still others say that she’s simply a creation of the flowers, a mere extension of their will in a porcelain body. Whatever the answer may be, the one thing that is known about her is that anyone who wanders near her home will disappear, never to be heard from again.

This lonely, hateful doll knows nothing but contempt for those who stumble into her realm, and will gleefully test her newest batch of poisons on anyone who comes by, be they human, midara, or anything in-between. Though she has an incredible amount of hidden weaponry within her body—which she is quite willing to use—she also delights in utterly humiliating trespassers with sexual techniques and aphrodisiacs, reducing them to nothing more than slaves to their own desires before locking them away and using them as testbeds for ever-more mind-meltingly sweet poisons. Her hatred for mankind comes from their usage of her fellow dolls as naught more than toys, playthings—slaves. She sees no reason to treat humans any better than they treat her kind, and her cruelty toward them knows no bounds. Stay far away, if you value a healthy body and stable mind.

Passives
1. Poison Body of a Forsaken Doll — The veritable cocktail of poisons Medicine uses on her opponent will slowly take its toll on their body, giving them additional permanent status effects the more Poison stacks they have, as well as giving Medicine access to more dangerous attacks at 15 Poison stacks. (While the effects do stack with each other, for the sake of convenience, only write the most recently gained of these status effects during an RP.)
3 Poison stacks: Dizzy - The opponent misses all action rolls below 20.
6 Poison stacks: Unsteady - Medicine hits all action rolls above 80.
9 Poison stacks: Disoriented - The opponent’s attacks deal 0.5 less damage.
12 Poison stacks: Lightheaded - The opponent crit fails on all rolls below 15.
15 Poison stacks: Frail - Medicine crit succeeds on all rolls above 85. Unlocks additional attacks and status effects.
18 Poison stacks: Sickly - Every successful use of Poison Gathers gives one additional charge.
23 Poison stacks: Exhausted - Medicine’s status effects last 1 turn longer.
29 Poison stacks: Withering - The opponent has disadvantage on all action rolls, except Struggle and Poison resist.
35 Poison stacks: Broken - The opponent can no longer move their body of their own will. Results in instant defeat.

2. Flowers of Antimony — Medicine is not the only foe awaiting adventurers who step into her realm. The very flowers beneath their feet seem to move with a hostile intelligence all their own, assisting the doll with various attacks and constantly polluting the air with their sweet-smelling toxins. Every turn, her opponent must roll to resist gaining another Poison stack. Her opponent has disadvantage on this roll if they are currently Bound.

3. Doll Unkind to Body — Poisonous fluids are constantly churning within Medicine’s body, and she can release them with but a thought. As such, Binding her will result in her opponent gaining one additional Poison stack per turn.

New Status Effects
A veritable master at manipulating the human body with her poisons, Medicine has access to more powerful variants of standard status effects, as well as a few of her own special concoctions.

Winded - The opponent has disadvantage on resisting passive Poison gain.
Breathless - The opponent automatically fails the roll for resisting passive Poison gain.
Infatuated - The opponent’s attacks deal 1 less damage, down to a minimum of 1.
Hallucinating - The opponent automatically takes 1 Willpower damage per turn.
Fascinated - The opponent must make a roll at the start of their turn. If they succeed, they take their turn as normal. If they fail, their turn is skipped. (Hang on, this one looks familiar...this isn’t one of Medicine’s creations. Who the heck did she learn this from?)

Normal Attacks
When the battle begins, the opponent is of sound mind and body, not having yet been exposed to any of Medicine’s insidious poisons. To the vengeful doll, this means that her opponent is nothing more than a blank canvas, waiting for her to turn them into a masterpiece.

1. Poison Gathers“So many ways to bring you to your knees.” Though all of her attacks carry a degree of poison within them, Medicine can spend a turn manipulating the chemical reserves in her body to store a charge of a particularly potent poison carrying any status effect of her choice. This move always succeeds, except in the case of a critical failure. She can then expend this charge with any attempt at a damage-dealing attack, including Bound attacks, holding it indefinitely in reserve until then. She can only expend one charge at a time, and can only hold one charge of each unique status effect at once. Each status effect lasts 2 turns once expended, unless it causes the opponent to lose their turn (Downed, Paralyzed, Fascinated), in which case it lasts 1 turn. The pool of status effects she can draw from initially consists of:

Charmed, Dazed, Downed, Fascinated, Winded

When the opponent reaches 15 Poison stacks, their body weakens enough to make them vulnerable to even more dangerous poisons, allowing Medicine to draw from a bigger pool of status effects:

Paralyzed, Infatuated, Hallucinating, Breathless

(DM’s, remember to keep it interesting! Spamming Downed and Paralyzed at every opportunity will do no favors to anybody!)

2. Drugged Kiss“Are you really so desperate for a kiss that you’d taste poisoned lips?” Medicine pulls her opponent into a gentle kiss, her surprisingly soft lips dripping with her toxins. They seep into her opponent’s body as she holds them in the kiss, dealing 2 Willpower damage and adding 1 Poison stack.

3. A Touch of Poison“It’s porcelain skin...but it feels so real, doesn’t it?” Medicine runs her soft hands over her opponent’s body, gently caressing them as her poisons trickle out from between her joints and seep into their skin. Deals 1 Willpower damage and adds 2 Poison stacks.

4. With One Breath“Take a deep breath...it’s what’s best for you.” Bringing her hand to her lips, Medicine softly blows a cloud of purple gas at her opponent, dealing 1 Willpower damage, adding 1 Poison stack, and having a chance of inflicting a random status effect from Medicine’s currently available pool.

5. Silent Guardian“Huh? Oh...aheheh! Thank you very much!” Seemingly of their own will, the flowers scattered around the feet of both combatants suddenly spray out a burst of pink gas. Medicine gives a surprised giggle as she receives a charge of her choice of Poison Gathers, while her opponent goes reeling from the pleasant sensations forced upon them by the poison, dealing 1 Willpower damage and adding 1 Poison stack.

6. Living Garden“You should be grateful to feel the flowers’ caress!” The opponent suddenly feels the flowers beneath their feet begin to stir, and before they can react, the flowers burst out of the ground and wind themselves around their body, Binding them and allowing Medicine to perform more dangerous attacks. Medicine is also able to use Poison Gathers once for free during this time.

7. Breathe Deep“Succumb to the weakness of your human body.” Follow-up to Living Garden. Medicine walks up to her struggling opponent, wisps of pink vapor floating from the gaps between her joints as she fills herself with toxic gas. Placing her hands on their cheeks, she pulls them into a deep kiss, pumping their lungs full of her sweet poison. Deals 2 Willpower damage and adds 2 Poison stacks per turn.

8. Take Your Medicine“A curse, delivered in the guise of a gift...funny, isn’t it?” Follow-up to Living Garden. Medicine approaches her bound opponent with a mischievous smirk on her face. She brings her hands behind their neck, tilting their head upward, and meets their lips with hers in a wet kiss that almost seems loving...until the opponent’s eyes bulge and they begin to shudder from the concentrated poison trickling down their throat. Simultaneously inflicts every status effect Medicine currently has stored with Poison Gathers, deals 1 Willpower damage and adds 1 Poison stack for every charge expended this way, and ends the Bind immediately as the vines let go of Medicine’s unfortunate victim.

9. Withering Temptation“Already craving the taste of my poison again? Well, if you insist...” Medicine forcefully seizes her opponent’s head in her hands, a malicious grin on her face, before leaning in to devour their lips with a hungry kiss. She giggles as one of her hands drifts downward, gently teasing their crotch with her deft fingers, dealing 2 Willpower damage and adding 2 Poison stacks.

10. Sweet Embrace“The flowers will welcome even a monster like you. Aren’t they so kind?” Medicine wraps her arms around her opponent, holding them tight to her body and Binding them. If they can’t escape within the next turn, then their body slowly freezes up as paralyzing fluids begin to trickle from Medicine’s joints. Still embracing her opponent, she lowers them to the ground to lay with her among the flowers, gently caressing them as they bathe in the flowers’ drugged vapor. Deals 1 Willpower damage and adds 2 Poison stacks per turn, with the number of Poison stacks added escalating by 1 every turn until the opponent escapes the Bind.

11. Our Lady’s Tears“I’ve...been so cruel...I’m so sorry...!” With tears brimming in her eyes, Medicine collapses to the ground in a mess of choking sobs. Her opponent hesitantly approaches her, and when she looks up at them with tears streaming down her face, their heart falters for a moment. They reach out a hand to her, which she gratefully turns into a close hug, burying her face in their shoulder. Her “tears” seep into their bare skin, the poison within quickly spreading throughout their body. Deals 3 Willpower damage, adds 3 Poison stacks, and inflicts a random status effect from Medicine’s currently available pool. Suffers Disadvantage for every attempt past the first success.

Special Attacks (15+ Poison stacks on opponent)
After constantly breathing in the flowers’ miasma and receiving multiple doses of the doll’s sweet poison, Medicine’s toxins are starting to take a noticeable toll on her opponent’s body. Their muscles are sluggish and slow to respond, and strange hallucinations of Medicine’s own design begin to plague their fever-addled mind. With her opponent weakened to such a degree, their body is now vulnerable to some of Medicine’s most dangerous techniques.

1. Playing With Dolls“Why make me do all the work? Indulge yourself, while you can still move your pathetic body!” With a sly gleam in her eyes, Medicine peels off her dress, revealing a surprisingly realistic figure for a doll. Her opponent, spurred on by the poison within them, can’t help but begin to worship her body with theirs, Binding them. They start slow, but as they indulge their desires, they only become more and more desperate for her affections. Deals 2 Willpower damage and adds 1 Poison stack per turn, with the amount of Willpower damage dealt escalating by 1 every turn until the opponent escapes the Bind.

2. Blight of Ecstasy“Oh, you poor thing. You can’t even tell what’s happening anymore, can you?” Medicine places her hands on her opponent’s thighs and lowers herself between them, her open mouth visibly dripping with purple fluid. She starts pleasuring her opponent with her lips and tongue, and they can’t help but shiver from the sheer intensity of the sensations being forced upon them. Deals 3 Willpower damage and adds 3 Poison stacks, with both of these numbers increasing by 1 every time the move is successfully used.

3. Aching Need“Look at that...now the roles of slave and master are reversed! Hahahaha!” At Medicine’s whim, the poison within the opponent’s body begins to heat their blood and cloud their mind with lustful images of the doll. Their breathing gets heavy with desire as their vision suddenly becomes hazy, rational thought fading from their mind as they sink down to their knees. They can’t stop their hands as they start to pleasure themselves to thoughts of Medicine, freely breathing in the flowers’ toxins as they do so. Deals 2 Willpower damage and adds 2 Poison stacks. The opponent is free to attempt an action next turn as normal, but if they fail, then Medicine’s next attack has Advantage as they fail to break out of their drug-induced fantasies.

4. Honey Trap“You just can’t help yourself, can you? Go on, drink up the poison you love so much!” As her opponent watches, Medicine reaches a hand down between her legs, and dips her fingers into her womanhood. They emerge coated in a sticky violet fluid, and when the sweet scent of it reaches her opponent’s nose, their mouth suddenly goes dry with unbearable thirst. The desire to taste her nectar is overpowering, and they stagger over to the doll without hesitation. She giggles as they eagerly lap up the fluid from her hand, the poison from her juices waiting to react with whatever toxin they come into contact with next. Deals 2 Willpower damage, adds 2 Poison stacks, and doubles the number of Poison stacks added on Medicine’s next attack.

5. Gift From the Earth“Look, the flowers are offering us a gift. Don’t you dare refuse their generosity!” A flowered vine suddenly begins to grow next to Medicine, a bright red berry hanging from the end. Smiling in thanks, she gently plucks the berry and pops it into her mouth. She then cradles her opponent’s head in her hands, taking them in an open mouth kiss and forcing them to swallow it. Their eyes widen as the strange fruit suddenly causes their body to heat up, increasing their sensitivity and making them desperately yearn for Medicine’s touch. Deals 2 Willpower damage, adds 2 Poison stacks, and doubles Willpower damage on Medicine’s next attack.

6. Convalloside Prison“I’ve had enough playing around. It’s time your mind withered away!” Medicine pushes her opponent to the ground, climbing over them and straddling their waist, Binding them. She teasingly slides her hips against their waist, and the heat from her womanhood radiates onto their sensitive skin. If they can’t escape within the next turn, then she stops her teasing and takes them into her hungry pussy. The toxins inside her body mingle with her opponent’s juices, sending them into ecstasy as they taste everything Medicine has to offer. Deals 2 Willpower damage and adds 2 Poison stacks initially, then continues to do so in addition to inflicting one random status effect per turn.

Finishers
One More Dose (0 Willpower, below 35 Poison stacks) — The opponent is left in a daze by Medicine’s sexual skill. Though their body is still able to move, they find that they don’t really want to, in the face of the pleasure that surrender brings. As Medicine looks on her submissive opponent, misty pink vapor starts to subtly leak out from between her joints. “You want some more poison, don’t you…?” She invitingly holds out her arms toward them, a gentle smile on her face. “Come on...just one more kiss, and you’ll be mine forever. You’d like that, wouldn’t you?” Unable to refuse their lust, her opponent unsteadily tumbles into her embrace. She giggles, then leans forward to seal their lips with a deep, slow kiss. She holds them tight as she continuously pumps more gas into their lungs, slowly emptying her body’s entire reserve as the opponent starts to go limp. Their mind becomes awash in dreamy pleasure, with the poison swirling around their mind just as much as it circulates through their body. Eventually, Medicine brings them back into her cottage, where she toys with them at her whim for the rest of their life.

Rappaccini’s Legacy (35+ Poison stacks, above 0 Willpower) — The opponent’s movements begin grinding to a halt as the poison within their body becomes too much for them to resist. Though their will to fight stubbornly remains, their muscles have become completely paralyzed, and their mind swirls with a strange haze that makes it impossible for them to concentrate on anything for too long. Medicine approaches them, her head tilted in curiosity. “Hm? You’re filled to the brim with my poison, but your mind’s still intact...” Slowly, she smirks. “Oh, you’ll be so fun to break.” Her opponent can do nothing but struggle helplessly as Medicine drags them into her cottage, then down into her workshop. From there, they become nothing more than a toy for her to test new poisons on, each designed to erode their mind with unbearable pleasure until their will shatters completely.

The Perfect Poison (35+ Poison stacks and 0 Willpower simultaneously) — Unable to resist the pleasure Medicine can offer any longer, and spurred on by the poison filling their body driving out any sense of rationality they had left, her opponent throws themselves at Medicine’s feet, begging to be hers. She laughs as they grovel before her. “Hahahaha! Yes, that’s right! Feel my perfect poison inside you, forcing you to give me your mind and body!” She tackles them to the ground and positions her hips above theirs as flowers start crawling all over their body, releasing their sweet toxins and drugging the opponent even further. “And now…” She drops her hips down and grinds against them, causing their head to go white with bliss as she starts devouring their lips with hers. “You’re mine...all mine. Mine, mine, MINE! The slave you so rightfully deserve to be!” Medicine keeps endlessly pumping poison and pleasure into her opponent until they’re left as little more than a broken doll, a shadow of their former selves serving Medicine’s will.

And here we have my newest profile, Medicine Melancholy from Touhou Project! Gonna be honest, though I've been wanting to make this character for a long while, I felt pretty creatively stumped during the process this time, which is why I want to give a big thanks to X_Simply-Perfect_X for helping me design her! Oh, and for not saying I couldn't letting me steal the Fascinated debuff. Sorry~!

As always, feedback of all kinds is more than welcome, especially because status effect-heavy characters are pretty hard to balance. We'll see how well she turned out soon enough, though!

Medicine Melancholy Empty
PostSubject: Re: Medicine Melancholy   Medicine Melancholy EmptySat Sep 01, 2018 3:59 am

(Note: this is written with the assumption that separate rolls are made for every target of an AoE attack.)

Medicine Melancholy ~ Boss Ver.

“I warned you to leave. Now, all of you will face the consequences!”

(Appearance, Description, most New Status Effects, and Finishers all omitted, as they are identical to the base version. Everything else has been buffed, changed, or is otherwise unique to this version.)

Passives
3 Poison stacks: Dizzy - The opponent misses all action rolls below 25.
6 Poison stacks: Unsteady - Medicine hits all action rolls above 75 against the opponent.
9 Poison stacks: Disoriented - The opponent’s attacks deal 1 less damage.
12 Poison stacks: Lightheaded - The opponent crit fails on all rolls below 15.
15 Poison stacks: Frail - Medicine crit succeeds on all rolls above 85 against the opponent. Unlocks additional attacks and status effects to use against them.
18 Poison stacks: Sickly - Medicine’s status effects last 1 turn longer.
23 Poison stacks: Exhausted - Medicine has Advantage on all action rolls against the opponent.
29 Poison stacks: Withering - The opponent has disadvantage on all action rolls, except Struggle and Poison resist.
35 Poison stacks: Broken - The opponent can no longer move their body of their own will, and is forced to fight alongside Medicine against their former allies. If all party members are afflicted with Broken, then they are instantly defeated.

2. Flowers of Antimony — Medicine is not the only foe awaiting adventurers who step into her realm. The very flowers beneath their feet seem to move with a hostile intelligence all their own, assisting the doll in various ways and constantly polluting the air with their sweet-smelling toxins. Every turn, her opponents must roll to resist gaining another Poison stack. They have disadvantage on this roll if they are currently Bound. Also, the flowers will wind themselves into a protective barrier around Medicine whenever she’s incapacitated and unable to dodge an attack, resulting in her taking half damage while she is Paralyzed.

3. Doll Unkind to Body — Poisonous fluids are constantly churning within Medicine’s body, and she can release them with but a thought. As such, Binding her will result in her opponent gaining one additional Poison stack per turn.

4. Your Own Medicine — Once an opponent reaches 0 Willpower, they are unable to continue fighting, and will automatically gain 1 Poison stack per turn. Once they reach 35 Poison stacks, regardless of their remaining Willpower, their body will seize up and fall under Medicine’s direct control. They now fight on Medicine’s side, with all Stamina damage done by their attacks being converted into Poison stacks added to their target. (Willpower attacks are unchanged.) However, they can still be targeted by Medicine's attacks if she wishes to reduce their Willpower further or imbue them with more Poison stacks, with Medicine having Advantage against all Broken opponents. They have 10 Stamina, and if reduced to 0 by their former party members, then they are permanently knocked out of the fight, to be either dragged back home and healed up by their friends later, or toyed with by Medicine alongside the rest of the party. If Medicine is defeated while there are still Broken party members standing, then they are automatically freed from her direct control, and are able to cooperate with the rest of their party enough to receive more permanent cleansing from her poisons.

If the opponent still has some Willpower remaining, then they suffer Disadvantage on resisting passive Poison stack gain. There is also a 10(Willpower - # of Poison stacks above 35)% chance each turn that they’ll be able to stand fast and momentarily wrestle their body away from Medicine’s control, refusing to perform any action that turn.

New Status Effect

Lovesick - The opponent's attacks deal 2 less damage, down to a minimum of 1.

This move always succeeds, except in the case of a critical roll: on a crit fail, the move simply fails, and on a crit success, Medicine gains two charges. She can then expend this charge with any attempt at a damage-dealing attack at any number of targets, including Bound attacks, holding it indefinitely in reserve until then.

Charmed, Dazed, Downed, Fascinated, Winded, Infatuated

When an opponent reaches 15 Poison stacks, their body weakens enough to make them vulnerable to even more dangerous poisons, allowing Medicine to upgrade many of her status effects against that opponent:

Charmed becomes Hallucinating, Downed and Fascinated become Paralyzed, Winded becomes Breathless, and Infatuated becomes Lovesick

When selecting a random status effect for certain attacks, the upgraded variants are used instead of the original version if the opponent has 15+ Poison stacks, unless they are already afflicted with the upgraded version. Whenever Medicine inflicts one of these status effects with an AoE attack, she only inflicts the upgraded variant against opponents with 15+ Poison stacks. If an opponent doesn't meet this condition, they are afflicted with the original version instead. Opponents with 15+ Poison stacks can still be afflicted with the original version, on top of the upgraded one.

Additionally, this move will occur once for free every other turn.

2. Drugged Kiss“Are you really so desperate for a kiss that you’d taste poisoned lips?” Medicine pulls her opponent into a gentle kiss, her surprisingly soft lips dripping with her toxins. They seep into her opponent’s body as she holds them in the kiss, dealing 4 Willpower damage and adding 2 Poison stacks. (Single-target.)

3. A Touch of Poison“It’s porcelain skin...but it feels so real, doesn’t it?” Medicine runs her soft hands over her opponent’s body, gently caressing them as her poisons trickle out from between her joints and seep into their skin. Deals 2 Willpower damage and adds 4 Poison stacks. (Single-target.)

4. With One Breath“Take a deep breath...it’s what’s best for you.” Bringing her hand to her lips, Medicine softly blows a cloud of purple gas toward all of her opponents, dealing 2 Willpower damage, adding 2 Poison stacks, and having a chance of inflicting a random status effect from Medicine’s currently available pool. On a Critical Success, the status effect is guaranteed. (Targets all opponents.)

5. Silent Guardian“Huh? Oh...aheheh! Thank you very much!” Seemingly of their own will, the flowers scattered around the feet of all the combatants suddenly spray out a burst of pink gas. Medicine gives a surprised giggle as she receives a charge of her choice of Poison Gathers, while her opponents go reeling from the pleasant sensations forced upon them by the poison, dealing 2 Willpower damage and adding 2 Poison stacks. On a Critical Success, the opponent receives double damage and Poison stacks added. (Targets all opponents.)

6. Living Garden“You should be grateful to feel the flowers’ caress!” All of the opponents suddenly feel the flowers beneath their feet begin to stir, and before they can react, the flowers burst out of the ground and wind themselves around their bodies, Binding them and allowing Medicine to perform more dangerous attacks on them. Medicine is able to use Poison Gathers once for free during this time. This move is also usable whenever Medicine is busy with a single Bound target, attempting a hit on every opponent not currently Bound. If an opponent is Bound by this move, and Medicine isn't currently attacking them, a non-Bound ally can attack the vines holding them normally, breaking them with one success and letting their formerly Bound ally act immediately. On a Critical Success, Medicine is able to make an immediate follow-up against that opponent, but cannot perform multiple follow-ups if there are multiple Critical Successes. (Targets all opponents.)

Deals 3 Willpower damage and adds 3 Poison stacks per turn. (Single-target.)

Simultaneously inflicts every status effect Medicine currently has stored with Poison Gathers, deals 2 Willpower damage and adds 2 Poison stack for every charge expended this way, and ends the Bind immediately as the vines let go of Medicine’s unfortunate victim. Can expend a maximum of 3 Poison Gathers charges per use. (Single-target.)

9. Withering Temptation“Already craving the taste of my poison again? Well, if you insist...” Medicine forcefully seizes her opponent’s head in her hands, a malicious grin on her face, before leaning in to devour their lips with a hungry kiss. She giggles as one of her hands drifts downward, gently teasing their crotch with her deft fingers, dealing 5 Willpower damage and adding 4 Poison stacks. (Single-target.)

10. Sweet Embrace“The flowers will welcome even a monster like you. Aren’t they so kind?” Medicine wraps her arms around her opponent, holding them tight to her body and Binding them. Within seconds, they feel their body slowly freeze up as paralyzing fluids begin to trickle from Medicine’s joints. Still embracing her opponent, she lowers them to the ground to lay with her among the flowers, gently caressing them as they bathe in the flowers’ drugged vapor. Deals 2 Willpower damage and adds 3 Poison stacks per turn, with the number of Poison stacks added escalating by 1 every turn until the opponent escapes the Bind. (Single-target.)

11. Our Lady’s Tears“I’ve...been so cruel...I’m so sorry...!” With tears brimming in her eyes, Medicine collapses to the ground in a mess of choking sobs. Her opponents hesitate, wondering if they went too far during the fight. One of them slowly approaches her, and when she looks up at them with tears streaming down her face, their heart falters for a moment. They reach out a hand to her, which she gratefully turns into a close hug, burying her face in their shoulder. Her “tears” seep into their bare skin, the poison within quickly spreading throughout their body. Deals 2 Willpower damage to all opponents, and additionally deals 4 Willpower damage, adds 4 Poison stacks, and inflicts a random status effect from Medicine’s currently available pool to a random affected opponent. The additional effect always chooses an opponent whose roll was a Critical Success, if applicable. On a Critical Success, Medicine can attempt an immediate follow-up to the opponent she's hugging. Suffers Disadvantage for every attempt past the first success. (Targets all opponents, additional effect on single target.)

Special Attacks (15+ Poison stacks on opponent; AoE attacks are usable when not all opponents meet this condition, but suffer -2 Willpower damage and -2 Poison stacks against those opponents, and exclude them from any special effects.)

Indulge yourselves, while you can still move your pathetic bodies!” With a sly gleam in her eyes, Medicine peels off her dress, revealing a surprisingly realistic figure for a doll. Her opponents falter at the stunning sight, and one of them, spurred on by the poison within them, can’t help but begin to worship her body with theirs, Binding them. They start slow, but as they indulge their desires, they only become more and more desperate for her affections. Deals 2 Willpower damage to all opponents, and additionally deals 3 Willpower damage and adds 2 Poison stacks per turn to a random affected opponent, with the amount of Willpower damage dealt escalating by 1 every turn until that opponent escapes their Bind. The additional effect always chooses an opponent whose roll was a Critical Success, if applicable. On a Critical Success, Medicine can immediately perform the next turn of the Bind. (Targets all opponents, additional effect on single target.)

Deals 3 Willpower damage and adds 3 Poison stacks, with both of these numbers increasing by 2 every time the move is successfully used on any opponent above 15 Poison stacks. (Single-target.)

3. Aching Need“Look at that...now the roles of slave and master are reversed! Hahahaha!” At Medicine’s whim, the poison within her opponents’ bodies begins to heat their blood and cloud their minds with lustful images of the doll. Their breathing gets heavy with desire as their vision suddenly becomes hazy, rational thought fading from their minds as they sink down to their knees. They can’t stop their hands as they start to pleasure themselves to thoughts of Medicine, freely breathing in the flowers’ toxins as they do so. Deals 3 Willpower damage and adds 3 Poison stacks to all opponents. The opponents are free to attempt an action next turn as normal, but if they fail, then Medicine’s next attack against them has Advantage as they fail to break out of their drug-induced fantasies. On a Critical Success, Medicine's next attack against the target has Advantage regardless of whether their next action succeeds or fails. (Targets all opponents.)

4. Honey Trap“You just can’t help yourself, can you? Go on, drink up the poison you love so much!” Making eye contact with one of her opponents, Medicine reaches a hand down between her legs, and dips her fingers into her womanhood. Deals 4 Willpower damage, adds 4 Poison stacks, and doubles the number of Poison stacks added on Medicine’s next attack on that opponent. (Single-target.)

Deals 4 Willpower damage, adds 4 Poison stacks, and doubles Willpower damage on Medicine’s next attack on that opponent. (Single-target.)

With a wicked grin on her face, she soon stops her teasing and takes them into her hungry pussy. The toxins inside her body mingle with her opponent’s juices, sending them into ecstasy as they taste everything Medicine has to offer. Deals 3 Willpower damage, adds 3 Poison stacks, and inflicts one random status effect per turn. (Single-target.)

As I said with the 1v1 version, this wouldn't be possible without help from X_Simply-Perfect_X! Especially since this is my first-ever boss profile, so I frankly have no idea how she's gonna turn out, balance-wise. Is she way too strong? Maybe she's not nearly strong enough! Only time will tell!

Oh god. Sierra is partly inspired by Alice Margatroid with Spring Rose being Shanghai. That will be an interesting interaction.

Eleven or so years ago I joined the Brawl in the Family forums, where "Swerve" made his first appearance as a Kirby fancharacter.

It was on that forum that I first learned about Touhou, where my first exposure was to a SMW ROMhack where Cirno was the main character and Medicine was her player 2.

After I read Medicine's lore I immediately decided she was my favorite, and so far the only Touhou character who has come close to dethroning her has been Futo.

When I joined deviantArt I made Swerve into a Touhou fancharacter who was trying to help rehabilitate Medicine after she reaches Eientei in her ending from PoFV.

Nowadays Swerve is sort of a standalone character who only really exists in roleplay, and has questionable canonicity in even my own story.

Some RP stuff led me to make some great friends here (on the Upon Her Lips website), one of which I RP with on a near daily basis and have an expanded lore crossing over hundreds of games and anime where we're protecting the multiverse.

And now I come back here and there's a page about Medicine Melancholy.

Did my entire Internet career just come full circle?

---

More relevantly, you did an incredible job on Medicine. owo I can tell you put a lot of love into this moveset because all of the little references to her quotes, her theme song, the games in the series, and such were definitely there...

Swerve: I just hope the poor girl remembers me... Though, knowing this world, this isn't the same Medicine I've befriended.

Looking at her moves, I can't help but think of Dr. Gretchen from Vampire Hunter D.

Omg I love her so much. Still don't really want to participate in roll-playing right now though since I think my lover would mind if she ever found out about it. But someday, I might want to fight her. Sorry to everyone that wishes I were more willing to roleplay around now but I think a real lover should come first.
