Serenity in Green. (concluded)

People were starting to file out of the park as the sun starts to sink down from the horizen, its rays casted begins is dimming, only giving enough light to see the path through the park as well as illuminate the feminine form of one sitting on the grass closest to the center, her legs splayed across the ground as both of her hands were occupied with holding a notebook and writing something within.  It was only when it was getting dark that she lift her gaze around, watching the sun set and other start to leave, realizing how late it was getting.

She sighs briefly as she murmurs softly, mostly to herself, "30 more minutes..."  Her hand briefly drops the pencil between the pages of the notebook as she feels behind her for sports bag, feeling the straps briefly to confirm that it was there before fumbling blindly for the zipper to open.

Pash took another look at the note she had in her hand.

"Yep, this is the place," she said to herself before walking into the park.

She was wearing blue jeans, a white t-shirt and pink jacket as opposed to her usual dress she used when she needed to be seductive. She did, however, still have her teddy backpack on her. If all went according to plan, there was going to be no fighting for a change, and she hoped this mysterious person who had asked to meet her could hold true to that part of the deal.

She walked around the park, searching for a... well, it was not much of a search actually, the person she was looking for was quite literally the only other person in the park. She walked up to her.

"Hey, are you Serenity by any chance?"

She was not expecting anyone to even stay here much less talk to her though she manage to stop her from acting surprise when a female voice spoke to her.  She wondered 'Now who would be here this late looking for someone?'.  Her gaze turn to the voice finding a casually dressed woman that had a nice natural beauty.  Sher herself was donned in her usual black suit, boots and red beret.

Sierra shook her head and offers the woman a sad smile. "Sorry I'm Sierra, not Serenity.  And I do not think I know anyone by the name of Serenity. 'I think, or maybe she made a mistake on my name?'

(ooops, managed to screw up the name there )

Pash pulled out the note from her pocket to look at it again.

“Oh, haha, silly me. Sierra, that is what it says, not Senerity.”

She then showed Sierra the note.

“That is you right?”

Her eyes perk up as soon as the woman actually confirms her mistake, that it was indeed her.  

"Indeed that is me" .  She reaches over to take the note before her dark green eyes draws to the note and to the contents of the note, giving it a brief glance over to see what is written.

“So, you wanted to see me?” asked Pash. “Kind of nice change of pace for me to be honest. Got to say, it is usually those of the male persuasion that seek me out, and they are usually looking to fight me for some reason or another. They say they are defending people from me, but I’m pretty sure they are just using the fight as an excuse to fall for my charms. *giggle*”

“But I’m guessing that is not why you wanted to see me, no?”

Nods and smile before she takes the note and pockets it as it serves her purpose before she turns her gaze and body towards Passion but still kept the relaxed pose to the side as to not intrude onto her space.  She did given an amused snort of the other reasons that "Adventurers' " reason to finding her.

"Well a majority of males and some females tend to do that, but it is because they are paranoid or their subconscious drew them.  Both of them are understandable circumstances.  Although...some have a bit of a fetish of losing to a lovely lady."


She gives a smiles to Passion as her eyes light up

"But you are correct that I did not sought you are for those reason.  To be honest, I just simply want to talk.  Well to be specific, to learn.  And just simply talk.  Is that alright with you?"

Pash, seeing that her new friend was in the mood for a chat, sat herself down crossed leg on the grass in front of her.

“Ohohohohoho, you said it, and I thank the heavens everyday for creating boys whose whole fantasy is to “lose” to me and then “be unable to resist me” when I have my fun with them,” she said as she pressed her palms together and looked up at the sky with a happy smile on her face.

“And thanks for referring to me as a lovely lady,” she added with a wink. “You are quite lovely yourself.”

“Of course we can talk. Haha, it is the whole reason I came here after all. When I was given the chance to meet someone and was told that there would be no fighting and only chatting, I jumped at the opportunity,” she beamed at Sierra.


“So, what is it you want to talk about?”

She was going to offer a seat to Passion since it would be rude for her to converse she is standing while Sierra is sitting down but apparently Passion decided to make herself comfortable which is fine.  

Sierra chuckles briefly at Passion's response to those "heroes".  

"Well to be fair, there are some guys that doesn't find midaras to fight or to submit.  I have a contract with one of them."

She hmms and blushes slightly at the compliment but maintains the friendly elegance as she continues.

"Well for starters, we can get to known about each other."  She blushes briefly again "Especially since I do not even know your name."  She gestures to herself.

"As you already know, I am Sierra.  I am a student of the Sunset Academy and one of the members of their guild.  My hobbies and likes are sewing, cooking, and creating and inventing new things."

“Oh no, please don’t think that I feel all men are just looking to fight or submit to a midara,” said Pash. “There are plenty of good decent men out there who are just looking to tend to their responsibilities and care for their families. Society would be in a terrible place if it were not for good men like them keeping everything together and running.”

“In fact, I actually go out of my way to avoid men like that,” Pash added. “They have enough to do without the likes of me coming in to mess things up for them. I don’t want to do anything that might get one of them into trouble somehow.”

“However, as for the silly boys who want to act like heroes for a little bit before succumbing to my feminine wiles and then begging like a dog at my feet for me to have my way with them, *giggle*, those boys I have no problem with taking advantage of.”

“Oh, I’m sorry, I’m Pash! Haha, I just assumed that you would have known already seeing as how you sent out for me. It’s short for Passion Lips. It’s sort of a nickname that got assigned to me along the way. News of my, heheh, ‘exploits’ started going around, and next thing you know posters and newspapers will calling me ‘the vixen known only as Passion Lips’ because of the way I would drive my targets wild with desire using my kisses. It had a nice ring to it, so I kinda of just decided to go with it you know. However, after a while, saying Passion Lips over and over became a bit of a mouthful for me, so now I just call myself Pash, haha.”

“What about your name? Sierra….” and she paused for a bit as if listening to the sounds of her name and thinking about them, then she continued with a smile. “It’s a really nice sounding name. Do you know how you got it?”

Sierra was very pleased as she listen to Passion and was glad that her hunch of Passion being a decent person despite the reputation of being both a midara and her presence, not to mention she is very likable as a person.  

"Heh, I can see how you have received that moniker."  She pauses as the mirth calms a bit before taking on a more contemplative look. "Although that is what people call you, but do you have a name you are given before?

"As for myself..." Her voice grows slightly more softer, quieter, and more reflective. "...it was actually given to the matron of the orphanage shelter when she found me.  It means darkness.  My surname is more of a self given name, Fall.  In short my whole name can be interpreted as dropping the veil of darkness.  But it can also be interpreted as my style."

As she speaks, she reaches behind her for her sports bag that she was fiddling around with prior to speaking before unzipping it open and taking out some paper wrapped grilled chicken sandwiches with some leettuce and tomatoes before offering one to Passion.

"Would you like one?  I took the liberty of making a few just in case we end up meeting during dinner time."

“My name before Pash?”

Pash had a brief flashback to the day before this whole love magic thing happened to her. The kidnapping. The witch. The experiments. The failed spell. She shook her mind of those thoughts, not wanting to dwell on them.

“Sorry Sierra. That one's a bit personal, and we have just met” she said with a smile. “Besides, we ladies are allowed to keep a few secrets, aren't we?” she added with a wink.

“Wow, your name has such a interesting story to it. So much cooler than mine. I just got mine because I kissed a few boys into submission haha.”

“Oh my gosh yes!,” exclaimed Pash at the sight of the sandwiches. “I am actually so hungry right now. I don’t even know what it is, but I’ll eat it haha.”

“Besides, anything made by such a pretty and smart and classy girl such as yourself is bound to be delicious,” said Pash with anticipation for the free food.

Sierra nods and smiles at Pash, even though she was slightly disappointed that she wasn't given her actual name yet.

"Fair enough. Though my name itself doesn't have a story, just a meaning. Also- " Sierra stops for a moment sudden outburst from Pash before giggling and handing one of the sandwiches to Pash before gesturing in the sports bag. The momentary distraction, though, cause her train of thought to an abrupt stop and forgot what she was going to say next so...

"Well help yourself. I brought 4 with me today." Again she turns slightly pink at the compliment to herself before she resumes.

"Well, me being classy isn't quite the reason for the food. I was... " Her voice quiets again " ...in a perpetual state of starvation, scourging the streets for leftover and being chased off before the matron found me." Gives a brief smile afterwards. "It has given me an appreciation of food which has became one of my passions."

She glances over to Pash's for a moment to see the reaction of the woman's expression especially once she has tried the sandwiches. The sandwiches themselves have a mix of savory and zest, courtesy of the tomato and light dressing sauce to go along with the taste medium of the lettuce and the savory of the grilled chicken.

Pash eagerly extendeds her hands to receive the sandwich from her. She quickly tore off the paper and took a very big, and probably very unladylike, bite out of it. While some small part of Pash could tell that the sandwich was crafted with extreme attention to tiny little details of flavor, all those efforts were probably wasted on the hungry girl. Heck, she honestly probably would have been just as happy had Sierra offered her a plain loaf of bread.

“Oh wow this is really good,” said Pash with her mouth half full, still chewing her food, in complete contrast to the super poised and serene Sierra. Not so much because she appreciated the delicate balance of flavors as much as she appreciated having some actual food to eat.

“Oh there is something we have in common, said Pash, having finally swallowed her food before talking, you know, like a decent person. “Being a midara, I kinda have to constantly move from town to town. This means I never quite know when I’m going to get my next meal.”

“So you are wondering why I have to travel from town to town now aren’t you?” added Pash before Sierra even had the chance to open her mouth. “Well, if I’m in one place too long, people start to notice, and not in a positive way. If I keep staying, next thing I’ll know is that I’m being chased by an angry mob wanting to burn me for being a demon. An angry mob complete with torches and pitchforks.”

“I mean, I really can’t blame them. A demon is not really that far off from what I am in a way…”

And she let out a sigh when she heard herself say that.

“...But that is no reason to burn me alive, no?”

“Anyways, I find it easier to just stay on the move,” she said before taking another bite.

“So what about you? You say you are from an orphanage? Geez, there must be a story there. If you don’t mind me asking, how did you end up there?”

Sierra's eyes widen as Pash wolf down the food.  She did wish Pash would slow down to enjoy the food but upon hearing some of Pash's story, she doesn't really blame her, vividly understanding what the poor girl had to go through.  

However, her eyes seem to taken on a somewhat uncharacteristic steel gaze and her voice takes on a rather cold tone within a single phrase.

"People fear what they do not understand."  She sighs briefly before her warm voice returns.  "How is it that you are able to find food, if I may ask?"  While she is asking that, her eyes starts going over Pash's form, not so much as to oogle her but more to look for any tatters or rips of her clothing as well as see any signs of malnutrition.

"Me?  Well...my memory is rather hazy of the past but from what I can remember we were at a time of war; some man was rescuing me from a collapsing building...we both didn't make it but he threw me out of the exit before it came down on him.  I never knew he even was...

"With no guidance, no one to take care of me.  I was pretty much a street orphan, living off of food that people throw away.  This was before the orphanage even found me."  She gestures to herself.  "Had the timing been even briefly off during that rescue or one meal was not thrown away, I would not be here sharing my sandwiches with you."

"Yet that one simple gesture of saving me, someone he did not know.  It was that light that stopped me from sinking into the darkness that I am aptly named after.

“How do I find food?” said Pash while taking another bite, “By relying on the generosity of strangers like yourself *giggle*”

“No, but seriously that is how I do it. Another reason I go from town to town. Usually I can charm some lonely looking guy into getting me a meal. I see some guy looking sad and dejected, I go up to him and say something like: ‘hey, I see you could use some company, and I could use some food. How about you buy me a meal and I’ll hang out with you for a bit telling you lame jokes until you get sick of me?’”

“It usually works. For the first time at least. Sometimes even two, but anymore after that and I start being seen as a pest as opposed to someone to enjoy an otherwise lonely lunch with. Another reason I keep on the move I suppose.”

“Yeah, it’s pretty sleazy I admit, but I take comfort in being able to put a smile back on the face of a guy who is otherwise down on his luck. I think a simple meal is worth that much, no?” she asked rhetorically with a smile.

“Oh wow, what a man…” said Pash with a sad sigh. “You know, it is such an injustice the best of men are usually the first to go while some of the worst of men get to spend their time growing old and fat in halls of power and money.”

“That story is really tragic, but I can at least take some comfort that the memory of that man is able to live on in your heart.

“Well, it’s good that you did not go all dark and moody after surviving that. Man, if I died saving someone, and then that someone ends up spending their second chance at life being a totally edgy and whiny little brat, never shutting up about “the darkness” or “the sadness that grips us all” or some other silly lame, self-pitying crap like that I would find a way to come back just to haunt them until they fixed themselves *giggle*.”

“I’m sure if he could see you right now, he would be really proud of the wonderful lady you turned out to be,” she said with a sweet smile at Sierra.

“I mean, you gave me free food! Truly you are a wonderful person. In my book at least,” Pash added with a hearty laugh.

She herself has just begun to unwrap her own sandwich and start to take a bite, being more meticulous with her own bites and drawing out the enjoyment of her own cooking, while listening to how Pash tries to get by through her everyday life. There was the pint of conversation where she gave a smile while reflecting briefly upon that stranger that saved her life. Then something in her mind stirred an idea.

"Oh! There may be some ways for you to get food without having to resort to the generosity of strangers. One of them may be the lesser desirable. And before you ask, not prostitution. " Sierra emphasizes that word seeing Pash may have flitted with the idea before and has a feeling that she does not want her dignity to go out like that.

"I was referring to taking up hunting and trapping to get food to cook for yourself. The other may be better but may require a bit of risk as you need to stay around a bit longer than you are used to, taking up a craft skill and using it to make items to sell. You can even be a traveling saleswoman if you want to." Sierra taps a finger to her own lips briefly in thought by habit.

"Now both of them is going to take some time to learn and provided that you may have a bit of difficulty in the process while requiring some time to learn. But during that time, you can stay over at my home."

“Look, I appreciate your offer to help me, but let’s just say that you are not the first. Believe me, I have thought plenty about the possibilities you are proposing. Being a sales girl for example. Believe me I know I’d be one hell of a salesgirl with my skill at charming people. It just to do that you would need to have regular contact with a few people who are supplying you with stuff. You see, one of the reasons that I get chased out of towns by angry mobs if I stay in one place for too long is this love magic within me now. If I am in regular contact with a person for an extended period of time, even if I’m not trying to seduce them or charm them, the love magic I give off just by existing will slowly start to twist their thinking. Before you know it, all they will be able to think about is…”

And Pash blushed slightly at this.

...thoughts of me sexing them up. And yes, it applies to both girls and boys, so that also means I can’t take you up on your offer to stay at your house either, as generous as it might have been.”

“I mean, you are quite an attractive lady and all, but I don’t swing that way *giggle* and something tells me would would prefer to enjoy being able to think thoughts about things other than me getting it on with you.”

“Oh, haha, no need to worry about it happening during this conversation though. We are usually talking about a few days of continuous contact with me before someone’s thoughts start getting hazy.”

“As for hunting, well, let's just say my skills make it easier for me to find a man who could use a little cheerful feminine energy in his life as opposed to a rabbit in the forest.”

“And prostitution? Heh, I know we midara types make it seem like it would be a natural fit for us, but I really have no interest in that. Fortunately, I’ve been lucky enough to have never come close to needing to cross that line.”

“Believe it or not, I’m actually not the biggest fan of straight up sex.” Pash continued. “I mean, yes, don’t get me wrong, sex with a nice boy feels amazing, but that is not really where the excitement lies for me. What gets me going is slowly wearing down a boy with my feminine wiles until he is a helpless pile of mush in my hands. Seeing boys in that state, everything about their eyes just helplessly crying out for some tender loving care from me just… unf… well, let’s just say it does numbers on me,” said Pash, now blushing quite a bit.

“Well, that was probably too much information for you, haha,” she said with a smile and one hand on her head.

Goodness, that is quite a lot of information! Including some that is referring to some rather promiscuous things, to Sierra's embarrassment. She hasn't even have any of her thoughts on any prospective dating, much less getting high on love magic and ravishing the midara is causing it! Fortunately, Pash doesn't seem to swing that way which put her at ease with an audible whew.

"Well I do feel at ease that whatever residue is causing people to swoon for you...love magic you say?...doesn't take immediate effect. One thing I was worried was when I made that suggestion, I had already developed a crush on you already because of it. Though..." She crosses her arms over her chest in thought, the paper of the sandwich she just finished resides on her lap.

"I understand very little of what this love magic. I read on some articles on it but I am not sure if the source is genuine or their emotion has been compromised."

Pash had now become aware that this girl talk session was probably getting a bit too girly for her new friend judging by the way she was fidgeting about when she told her story.

“Heheh, sorry about that. I’ll try to tone it down some. It’s just that, well, you, ummm, how to say this in a way that does not offend our lady ears… Ah, you look more like a woman than a girl. Yes, I know you are never supposed to ask a lady this, but how old are you? It would help me get a better idea of what I can talk about with you.”

“That and you definitely sound way more like a woman than a girl. Your levels of poshness is way more than what I’m used to dealing with.”

“Then again, I’m usually dealing with love drunk boys who are begging me to… Oh sorry. Heh, almost did it again.”

“So the love magic? Yeah, I’m not really 100% sure myself. That and I came across this magic in a, well, unconventional way. So it might not run through me the same way it runs through a typical midara.”

“Yes, I know you want to ask how, but no, sorry, I’ve just met you. That one is personal.”

“All I know for sure is that I now have this extra energy source within me that can make people fall head over heels for me. Even without me doing anything, I’m always radiating a bit out to my surroundings, but now I can even weaponize it a little, look.”

Pash kissed her fingers and blew out a kiss towards the sky. A little pink heart started fluttering upwards for a bit before vanishing in a small little pop.

“You see that heart? Now if that were to come into contact with you, it would feel very, and I mean very, pleasurable. And based on what I’ve seen in, ummm, ahem, combat, it also fills the target with very, how to say, pleasant thoughts of me.”

“So if I keep this up in a, heheh, fight, and I’m successful, it is only a matter of time before my opponent stops caring about the fight and just want to be with me.”

“So is this genuine love or me compromising their emotion? Well, I guess you could say it is a little bit of both. Getting hit with my love magic does not force you to fall in love me as much as it makes you realize that ‘hey, why am I fighting that pretty girl who is giving me so much pleasure when I could just give in to her and feel more of this wonderful feeling.’”

"I can also use it defensively, look."

A thin, transparent bubble of light pinkness surrounded Pash for three seconds before disappearing.

“Does not look like much, but it can keep a sword from cutting into my flesh and things like that. Very useful I have to say.”

“But there is a downside to it as well. You see, the love energy in me is always growing. Every month or so, it fills me to the point where it is actually harmful to myself. I will first start feeling aches and pains, then I will fall sick while still feeling those aches and pains, then I will start the process of dieing a very slow and painful death.”

“And that is in addition to the other once a month pain we ladies have to deal with,” she added, hoping her crude joke would lighten the mood some.

“So if that happens every month, how am I still alive? You might ask. Well, I can get rid of some by sharing it with a boy. If I kiss a boy deep enough, my excess love energy will flow into him. While this is probably the most pleasurable feeling a boy can feel, the surge of love energy into him will put him into a deep sleep for a few days, no more than a week though.”

“That is why I kinda depend of silly boys calling themselves adventurers to pick fights with me if you get what I’m saying. I’ve already told you I’m not fond of preying on innocent men just trying to go about their day.”

“So yeah, I’m a bit of a monster in a way, but I always make sure to care for the boy that, umm, helps me out, even if he does not know he is doing so.” When he is passed out after the ordeal, I’ll make sure to look for someone who can find the unconscious boy and take care of him until he wakes up. I don’t just leave them there.”

“So yeah, love magic 101 as bough to you by Pash. Any questions?” she ended with a wink and giggle.

Sierra shakes her head and smiles. "That is alright. I kind of got a bit squirmy because I never had much of a form of romance or such in my life. I had been asked out a few times but I don't think I felt a real connect to them...not to mention I do not feel like I am good enough." She pauses the conversation a bit before diverting it briefly towards a lighter tone.

"Well I am 22 but sometimes I feel like I am still a kid, aka naive, at times especially when it comes to boys. Not to mention I have quite a childish wonder streak when it comes to crafting...I get way over the top with what I create."

As if on cue, she reaches to her chest to one of the pouches on the bandolier she wears across her chest before pulling out a small female doll that has remarkable amount of details invested into it, almost like a miniature person. In a sense it looks very much like Sierra but is clothed in a light spring dress rather than Sierra's black leather body suit and its boy shape is more on the curvy side compare to Sierra.

She places the doll on her shoulder, letting it perch there for a bit before turning back to Pash to start listening to how the love magic operates, listening intently on the explanation while her mind illustrate of how love magic within accumulates while her hands seems to find automatically found her notebook and pencil and starts to jot down notes as if she is listening to a classroom lecture. But in the midst of her "student" mode, she is keenly aware that Pash is in a bit of a quandary in regards that she is kind of force to "love magic" a guy to mush (or a girl, Sierra theorize, but that is out of Pash's preference). Sierra stopped for a moment in her notes before giving Pash another warm smile.

"If it counts to anything, I do not see you as a monster at all. You said that you go out of the way to avoid overloading those that would cause problems for them. And even those you kiss to oblivion you make sure they are cared for before they come to. That speaks volumes of who you are Pash.

"And Regardless of whether you are a midara or not, I feel like you are the type of person I would really want as a friend."

“Well, don’t be too quick to shoot down boys who ask you out. Believe it or not, asking a girl out can be a very scary thing for a boy to do. Think about their feelings for a bit. So if you have the time and are not tied up in anything, you should really be thinking about saying yes to at least a few of them. We girls are so quick to complain about the things boys can do to hurt us to the point where I feel like we forget the pain we can cause them.”

“Besides, a date is just a date. Just go, chat with the boy for about an hour, enjoy a cup of coffee or tea or whatever it is you like with him, and just see when the conversation goes. If you connect, you connect, if you don’t, you don’t. You never know, even if you don’t feel that initial connection, you might find yourself pleasantly surprised when the boy starts sharing his stories.”

“Kinda like how I’d imagine this conversation is pleasantly surprising to you,” Pash added with a wink.

“Also, on a more serious note, if you reject too many boys in a row, you are going to get a reputation as that girl who turns down everyone. When that happens, boys won’t even think about asking you out anymore as they will see it as not even worth the emotional investment. Just something for you to keep in mind.”

Pash heard Sierra’s sweet words towards her and could barely contain her happiness in response.

“Thank you so much for saying that,” Pash said, wiping a tear from her eyes, “it is so nice to have the things I do to make sure I don’t hurt anyone be acknowledged you know? As opposed to just being thought of as a monster. It really means alot to me. Also, I’m so glad I got this chance to get to know you as well. You are a great person to talk to.”

“That’s quite a lovely doll you got there. Am I safe in assuming you made it? Kinda looks like you in a way... but I’m not quite sure. Different somehow…”

"Oh...I guess I kind of broke some people's heart...not knowing that. I..." Her voice was quiet before she resumes ""Thank you for pointing that out. I did not realize."

Pash's words of her habit of rejecting seems to strike a bit within her that she actually starts to realize what her effect of rejection is having others. That never had dawned to her at all and she immediately felt a sting of guilt of the potential emotional kick she may have caused. Pash is definitely the more experience between the two when it comes to relationships.

"I am glad to have this chance to know you as well." At Pash's inquiry about the doll, she just smiles before taking it off of her shoulders and holding it up for Pash if she wants to look at it.

"This is one of my works that I got extremely carried away with. It wasn't until that I finished it that I found out that it resembles much like myself. Only better." She gives a brief sigh before continue.

"And this was before I had an accidental awakening of my magic talent that caused a bit of my own being to be imbued into the doll causing some unintentional side effects..."

“You but better? Ohohohoho, girl, we have got to work on your self esteem if you feel you can’t compete with a little doll.”

“The only difference I can make out is the blue dress now that I look more closely at the doll. I mean, yeah, girl to girl, you would look better wearing a blue dress like that if that is what’s bugging you.”
“This raises the question, what’s with the leather jumpsuit? It seems a bit... excessive if you ask me. I mean, I get that not every girl likes dressing all girly and what not, but looking like you just walked off the set of one of those silly spy movies? Eehhhhh.”

“But hey, if that’s your thing, then you do you. I’m in no position to judge you. I’m just saying, if you are worried about your looks, you have lots of room for improvement for us to work with right now.”

“W...wait, you have magic too!? C... can you show me?” asked Pash, suddenly very much interested in a fellow girl with magic abilities.

"There is actually a practical reason for the leather suit. It is pretty resilient and I tend to go in regions that will cause said dress to become tatters since I gather ingredients to craft a lot, especially herbs. The baret...I dunno I thought it looked neat I guess."

She looked at the doll, or rather, the dress she is wearing.

Sierra then holds up the doll in the air before it floats out of her hand before starting to glow and its form starts to grow, becoming more distinct.
