Figure with all the Rp that goes on around here. There might be some fellow DnD nerds like me.

I do indeed play DnD, but it has been quite a long time since I've been part of a campaign. After I left a DnD group I was in for reasons I'll keep undisclosed, I haven't found any to be in.

My school has a DnD club every wednesday. The campaign I am in is actually based on Monster Hunter and I have a gunlance. My funniest moment so far was doing the harlem shake in front of a bunch of church people and they thought I was possessed.

I used to. Got too tired of the DM just talking the whole time and never doing anything so I don't play anymore.

I would love to play DnD but I have no one to play it with. However, I am a colossal fan of the podcast The Adventure Zone, which is basically a group of dudes playing DnD. I'd genuinely call it the best anime of 2017, but there isn't anything even resembling animation. XD

I play DnD, Pathfinder, Shadowrun....TBH, I almost wanna make my Pathfinder character on here, but given that he's a half-orc.....Yeah, I'm a bit hesitant to do so. Lol.

Pathfinder FTW! Yeah, I also play DnD, pathfinder, Shadowrun, Scion, Dresden Files RPG, FATE, Homebrews, Marvel Universe, and countless other TTRPG systems. In fact, I'm currently running a game with some friends on a Saturday afternoon, going every other Sunday to Pathfinder Society (though it's not quite the same), AND playing in a game on a Tuesday night. I MAY BE an RP addict xD

I'm currently involved in a Mutants and Masterminds campaign over on roll20. However i wouldn't mind exploring other systems and tagging along.

Imagine a DnD campaign based around the random RPs we've done on here?
...Actually that might be terrifying, so never mind.

I may be joining an M&M game soon.
And I think FATE would be a reasonable system for a campaign based on the RPs on here. Different stress tracks for the damages, and a more narrative flow to things.

Well, I just finished running a Marvel Universe game, which was a load of fun. Huge finale happened on Saturday. Looking forward to going back to being a player again though!!

Coming back to this topic after so long is WILD seeing as nowadays I play D&D on a regular basis. XD I have regular games every Thursday and Friday, plus the third Saturday of every month, then on top of all that I occasionally have midweek games. This has been going on since 2019 I think.

I am in the process of getting into it! I also have 2 certifications in the therapeutic use of DnD and other tabletop roleplaying games, so soon it'll be a part of my work

Long and short it depends on what you're working on and can be tailored into a variety of things. For instance, it's becoming common for social issues as an opportunity to practice social skills and related skills in a safe setting. If you have trouble advocating for and speaking up for yourself, it's something that can be incorporated into the game and utilized in a safe manner that the therapist can support/guide along with the others in the group. It's SUPER versatile depending on how it goes.
