Pash saw the doll start to run towards her and she knew exactly what the doll was going to do. In fact, this was the whole point of calling Sierra instead of just knocking on her door. She put one foot behind her to brace for the impact, but even then she still stumbled a step or two backwards when the doll "assaulted" her. And assault that caused Pash to squeal with delight that is.

"Ahahahaha~ I'm so happy to see you again Spring Rose! It has been too long."

The doll then took her hand and pointed towards Sierra's house.

"Oh, I know, I Know," said Pash. She then leaned in and whispered in the doll's ear. "Don't tell Sierra, but I actually was not lost at all *giggle*. So, you are not going to make me *giggle* climb into the window are you? "

Well technically when she instinctively remotely gives her instinctive orders to Spring Rose, Sierra can sense what Spring Rose is and the Pash's whisper to the doll causes her to briefly facepalm.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Spring Rose's reaction however is playfully sticking her tongue out at Pash doing this just to see her. It was then that the doll tilts her head as if in thought at the mention of entering through the window before pointing up above Sierra's home, up at where the chimney of her home is with her usual cute doll smile.

"The chimney?! Eeeeeee! Spring Rose, why would you want me to do that?! I just spent a week end of getting pampered in a spa, getting my nails done, getting my hair done, and now you want me to climb in through a chimney and get soot all over myself?"

She then put her hand on her head dramatically.

"Ah~ Well, if what you want, then for the sake of our friendship, I shall grin and bear it."

"...wait, I don't even think I can fit through that. Can you fit through that?"

Spring Rose waited for a bit for Pash's acting melodrama before she covers her mouth with both hands, closes her eyes and shakes while smiling as if she is laughing for a good 4 seconds before she takes Pash's hands once more and leads her towards Sierra's home while pointing at the door, properly this time to make sure Pash knows that she is going through the door, not the chimney.

"Ah a door. See? Now that is more up to my speed. I can handle a door. I just never know with this town you know? One moment I feel like everything is nice and orderly and makes sense, the next I'm watching dolls climb through windows and professors walking through walls. It's madness I tell you."

"So how about you Spring Rose?" she asked as the two walked towards the door? "How have you been since we last met?"

It was a bit difficult for a (currently) speechless doll to answer a "How are you?" question so she points to herself before pointing towards Sierra's home again before finally opening and closing her hands at her thumb and other fingers in a "talk" motion, except the meaning of that isn't clear either.

After finishing her hand talking signal, she slide behind Pash before jumping on Pash's back and clinging onto her forcing her to piggy back the doll before she finally points towards the door.

"Hmmm," she said as she tried to follow along. "Spring Rose...House...talking... AH! Your house can talk?! Boy this city never ceases to amaze me."

Then Spring Rose jumped on her back, which delighted Pash to no end. It delighted her so much that should just could not help but start complaining.

"Ahhhhh, Spring Rose!" she squealed as she stumbled around with the doll on her back. "I'm a frail little girl! How do you expect me to be able to carry you!"

Pash continued to wobble and stagger her way to the door dramatically. It was not that Spring Rose was heavy. It was just that Pash could not help but get playful in Spring Rose's presence.

The life size doll continues to cling playfully onto Pash's back while they make their way to Sierra's door. A moment later the door slowly swings inward revealing Sierra with a tower in her hand, drying her hair. She manage to put on a white t-shirt with 'I put my root beer in a square glass.' Now it's just beer" on it and some short blue jean.

"I was hoping that Spring Rose convince you to take the chimney route, I can already imagine Santa Pash as a theme already." She quipped with a grin. "But glad you can make it here, Pash."

"Ahhhhh! Spring Rose! I'm going to fall! Brace for impact!" said Pash while being in no danger whatsoever of falling over, other than her exaggerated swaying and staggering.

"Oh hi Sierra!" she said, suddenly able to stand still and stable with a doll on her back now that Sierra was there. "Ah! Cute shirt! *giggle* So if I put imaginary beer in there, would it become real? Hmmm, had I know you would be wearing that, I would have tried to wear something a little different," she said as she looked down at her own t-shirt and jean shorts outfit. Her t-shirt was pink though.

"Oh so the chimney was your idea huh? Well, thankfully, the sweet and lovely Spring Rose was there to show me an alternative that does not involve me getting covered in soot. I wonder if I would be a good Santa. I mean, I look nothing like Santa, but we do share the love for spreading happiness everywhere we go, no?"

"So, is there a chair for me to sit in? It has been a lot of traveling and I want to sit please."

"Well to be honest, this was the first thing that I found to wear that isn't pajamas. Yeah it would be real, although talking about anything imaginary would just be irrational." She wondered with mirth if they are going to be going about this day throwing math jokes at each other.

"My chimney is actually modified from its original purpose, it isn't to blow out soot and smoke. It is actually a vent system to draw in or expel, cold or hot air since I do have a some machines in the workship that requires some heat management."

"Yeah before we talk about anything else, I can lead you to the living room where you and relax and and I can get you some chicken nuggets and...what is it that you want to drink today?"

She leads the 3 of them into a pretty roomy area with a pair of light tan leather sofas, one short than the other and arranged in a way that they are semi-surrounding a white marble table with a rather simple but appealing square design. Topping the table are a sculpture of a standing castle that is pretty much a queen chess piece, 15 inches tall. The walls of the contains some paintings and pictures of many different objects and even shapes rather than people. They are not masterpieces but the quality is still good.

"*giggle* Ah, after all the mental math I've been doing at the casino, imaginary and irrational numbers are a bit too much for me right now, but perhaps one day would could discuss this in a much more relaxed time for me, like say, oh, you know, over a slice of pie." she said with a wink.

"Ah, well good thing I did not go through the chimney then, otherwise I'd be all burnt by now."

Pash was happy to be pointed in the direction of the sofas. She walked over to the longer one.

"Alright Spring Rose, here is where the ride ends for you," she said as she stood at one end of the long sofa, waiting for Spring Rose to get off of her so that she could sit down on the other end.

"Oh yes please, I am a bit hungry right now, and some water would be really nice about now. Especially if you got some nice cold water. Walking will make a girl thirsty."

She then looked at the big queen chess piece.

"So, ummm, you a chess player?"

Sierra knew that pi would be likely to be around during a bit of a math joke mararthon.  Uh oh!  Here it comes!  Wait for it, wait for it!  There's the pi!  She gave another grin at Pash.  Slice of pi isn't the most artful of usage of it but Sierra always appreciate a pun or two thrown in.

"Actually it's drawing heat in right now for the oven and making the vent cold so you'd actually more of a Pash-cicle."

Spring Rose complies with Pash and slides off of her back before she makes a yawning motion before laying down.  Then her form shrinks down into her doll form, sitting near Pash.  "Sorry, there is some stuff I need to do in the kitchen that requires a bit of focus so Spring Rose needs to rest for now."

She was about to head to the kitchen when the question prompted her to pause for a moment to answer Pash while Pash was looking at the sculpture of a Queen.  "Mmm, yeah or rather I used to play chess a few years ago.  Mostly as a hobby though and I won one of those in a chess tournament, 7th place out of 50 or so players."

Pash watched as the doll shrunk down to, well, doll size, and she marveled at the the way the doll somehow turned became even cuter somehow. Pash, now got comfortable, leaned back on the sofa and closed her eyes, happy to have a break from her travels.

"Oh take your time Sierra, I'm enjoying this comfy sofa right now."

"7th out of 50!? Geez Sierra, is there anything you are not good at?"

"Yeah, I am not so hot at direct combat. I can be decent at sniping if I can remain hidden and can somewhat hold my own next to me, but if there was even 2 enemies or even one that is well trained gets up close, I'm in trouble. My grades in quarter combat is an uncomfortably low C.

Anothoer big one is actually spellcasting. Except for long term specific spells like enchantments that requires small usage of magic over long time, any spells that I castles up twice as weak because half of whatever I put into the spell gets siphoned back into me. It is because I am recently discover that I am a bit of a living capacitor. I need to use a device to actually draw large amount of energy from myself and it is mostly for functionality rather than durability. This ability is great for non-combat usage but is really bad if I have to throw a fireball, and I am still in training on how to control this.

So yeah with two of the most common methods of fighting not being an option for me, my ability to deal with danger is pretty limited. This is why I put more emphasis on a lot of other skills. While I am not much assistant in a fight, I am make it so that others are much likely to do so.

Last one is that I am not a prodigy or gifted anywhere, all I know right now is from persistant hard work and studying, and time which is limited so I do have to be selective with what I am to focus on.

Anyways I think I better start cooking before we both starve to death from my verbose explanation."

With that she heads over to the kitchen which, unfortunate is enclosed saved for an open door so Pash can't really see what Sierra is doing from the living room, leaving the midara to ponder what Sierra just said.

"Is everyone at your guild trained to fight? Seems like your place has quite the emphasis on combat."

"Eh, I would not get too caught up on that. I spend way much more time fighting than you do, I have way much more experience fighting than you do and I don't think of myself as a particularly fearsome fighter. Personally, I feel it is way better to be able to diffuse a fight rather than win one."

"A capacitor you say? Hmmm. Have you ever tried using your magic in waves? You know? Trying to get in sync with the charge and discharge cycle of this capacitor of yours?"

"Haha, normally I would ask you to not rush on my behalf, but I am rather hungry right now."

It was after a few minutes of sounds of what sounds like air flowing proceeded by a few minutes of lack of audible sounds before Sierra brings out a tray containing a nice size plate of chicken nuggets with 2 small dish of BBQ and sweet and sour dipping sauce, 2 smaller plates, 2 glasses of water and a pile of napkins.  To the side of the plates are a small cluster of forks.  She is very careful to have the water and the chicken nuggets on opposite side of the tray.

"OK this one is fresh out of the oven so use the forks first and be careful with eating them.

Well normally combat is only optional as a course but due to the situation, it has been mandatory to learn some form of self-defense means.  They do emphasize for those that are only taking the mandatory version to only fight as a last resort.  In the face of certain: Flee, hide, fight in that order, the last two I would happily prefer over the last.  For the more combat oriented people, self-control is emphasized to minimize hostile situations.

Cycles?  I thought capacitors currents are constant.  And no, I haven't tried to use it in waves.  I had assume that I keep drawing energies in at a constant rate."

"Oh boy!" said Pash as she reached for one of the forks. She dunked the nugget into the sauce, letting the sauce absorb the heat for a while before eating the nugget. Clearly she was a nugget eating pro.

"And baked too! Usually people fry these. You are such a healthy person Sierra."

"Oh yeah, that is my understanding of it anyways. Capacitors are usually used to block direct flows of current. The uninterrupted current charges the capacitor and then when that happens current can no longer go through. It can let alternating current pass because of the way alternating goes in waves. When a wave goes to a capacitor, it never really charges the capacitor all the way because the energy is going up and down, giving the capacitor a chance to dissipate current one one end while being charged on the other, with the middle never getting fully charged."

"Ah~ at least that is my understanding of capacitors. It has been a while since I read about them. Can't say I've actually even used one to build something."

"It does help that I like the taste of baked things more than fried.   Don't get me wrong, fried food is good as well but baked is my preference.  Baked potatoes especially!  Definitely would pick that over fried tatters."  She uses her own fork to piece a nugget and was blowing on it before she noticed that Pash was using the sauce to cool it down a bit before she decided to imitate her before taking a small, cautious bite.

"Hmm, I think you are thinking of alternating current capacitors while I was more thinking direct current capacitors.  Unfortunately I cannot recall too much details on them or the mechanics on that than just remembering what they are.  So I think you one-upped me on the knowledge for that one, Pash.  I may need to study it further since I may need to go into electric devices.  A different source of power other than magic would definitely help."

"Baked potatoes? Haha, I'm not a fan because they just stay way too hot for way too long. The worst part about getting a baked potato when you are hungry is when you start calculating in your head how much pain you are willing to endure vs how hungry you are *giggle*"

"Yeah, electricity is fascinating. When I first started reading, every thing was making sense. You know, flow of electrons, how it is a clever way of taking advantage of the energy from magnets, but the more I went in to it the crazier it got. Things like imaginary power or how a specific chain reaction can be used to make lasers. Ah, I could spend a lifetime asking all the questions I have about electricity."

She finishes her nugget and starts off with another one and using her sauce to simmer down the heat a bit before taking a bite once more before looking back up to Pash.

"If you put in some things for baked potatoes like butter and sour cream, dig the inner part of the potatoes and mixing them while spreading the outer part, you can actually get it to cool much faster. More surface exposed to cooler air and the condiment helps a lot with letting you eat it faster. The hardest part really is knowing how to cut the baked potato right."

"So does that mean I can ask you about any questions in regards to electricity, Professor Pash?" Sierra gives Pash a playful grin at the last bit. "I think I will be taking Physics 2 next semester that deals with part of electricity. I think it would give me more avenue to make more nice things for people when i start customizing my tools to take advantage of it."

"Haha Sierra, I just said that I am completely confused as to how electricity works and you want to ask me all your questions about electricity. I don't think that is one should go about seeking experts."

"But Physics 2? I remember reading though one of those books. Also talks a lot about optics. Lenses are pretty cool when you get right down to it. That and electricity still makes sense at that level. Once you get to electromagnetism, things go crazy."

"So put butter in to the potatoes then spread them around on a plate? *giggle* Sierra, just call them mashed potatoes at that point."

"Ah right...though still you still know more than me.  My knowledge is only up to circuits, and currents, and electric field.  I don't think I have anything magnetism..yet."  She makes a glance over to the direction of her workshop for a bit before turning back towards the conversation.

"Mash potato...not quite like that, it all stays in the potato skin pouch.  I guess just having it all out and treat it like mash potato works.  Both of them goes surprisingly well with BBQ beef too!"  She leans to take another bite of chicken nugget from her fork...only to discover that she ate it all already and was about to open her mouth to eat air (or her fork) before she realized it.  "I must be hungrier than I thought..."

"Haha, Pash the midara tutor. *giggle* Imagine that. I would be in the middle of seducing some boy trying to kill me, and in the middle I would ask: "Oh by the way, do you know of someone who is struggling academically? Here is my business card. My rates are very competitive I assure you."

"Ahhh! Don't bite the fork! Oh thank goodness. I hate it whenever I accidentally bite silverware. Then you feel that vibration feeling in your teeth for the next, like, half hour or so... it's the worst."

"Oh yes, potatoes a beef are a really good combination. The juices from the beef get absorbed by the potato. It's heavenly."

Sierra looks a bit embarrassed from the brief accident with non-nugget fork incident. "Sorry, I apparently ate my nuggets faster than I thought. Though I've never bit a fork before so I cannot say how that is like...probably for the best." The way Pash describe it seems rather unpleasant.

But still, being a midara tutor does have a nice ring to it, even if sessions needs to be kept short. If anything, you could give some poor boy struggling with classes some tips along with inspiration. If it is something you cannot handle or if it is a girl that is having problem, I can lend a hand as well."

"Eh, I'd be to distracting around a boy and to awkward around a girl." said Pash after thinking about it for a bit. "Although I do like your idea of *giggle* me inspiring a boy. Ah~ the idea of a boy extra motivated to do well on a test because I told him I'd give him a hug if he got an A is just too cute *giggle*"

Pash finished her glass of water and put the glass down.

"Well, I really do appreciate you inviting me to your home Sierra. You have a nice place. Where did you get those paintings?"
