Severa vs. Naedra Empty
PostSubject: Severa vs. Naedra   Severa vs. Naedra EmptyTue Jun 19, 2018 1:19 am

It was way too goddamned late.

The stars had been floating through the night sky for hours now, with the moon shining its faint light down from its position high in the sky. Most people were deep asleep inside their houses, and those that weren't had just climbed into their beds to join them. The creatures of the night had long since begun their prowl, and the sounds of nature continued to echo off the trees and rise into the darkened sky.

All this served as a reminder to Severa that she had had a very, very long day.

She knew that bounty hunting was tough work, of course, but today, it had been less "challenging" and more "infuriating". Not only had it taken her damn near half the day to find her target in the first place, but once she had found them, they'd decided to waste hours of her time by leading her on a pointless wild goose chase around town. Apparently, they were competent enough to stay out of her reach, but too stupid to actually slip away. Though perhaps that statement was ill-warranted, as they'd eventually managed to escape her, long after night fell.

To make matters worse, she knew she could've easily caught her target, had her cycle not been trying its damnedest to distract her and slow her down. Midara, crusader, midara, crusader...for the past few days, it was like it couldn't make up its mind.

And so, when Severa finally got back home, she wasn't exactly in the best of moods. As she walked inside, it was all she could do to not collapse on the couch and call it a night. She was tired, she was annoyed, and overall, she was ready for the day to be over. For the moment, she made her way over to the kitchen to make herself a little something to eat before bed.

That's when the faint scent of lavender wafted into her nostrils.

Her blood turned to ice.

She heard the quiet click, click, clicking of heels behind her. A soft, melodic voice drifted along from behind her.

"Oh, dear...did you have a bad day, little one?"

At the sound of that beautiful voice, images flashed unbidden through Severa's mind. Huge bat wings, long jet-black hair, skin as white as snow, and those eyes...Oh, those eyes...

...Such soft skin...those warm lips, that sweet tongue...an overwhelming aura, one that made you submit to her over and over again...

Squeezing everything out...making you scream.

You want that again, don't you...

...my delicious little half-breed?

——
-The old ruleset applies: the rolls are 1 to 100 even rolls are a success, uneven rolls are a failure.
-Characters are allowed 1 free action, but must otherwise stick to their movepools.
-Instead of VIRTUE and VICE, the adventurers have WILLPOWER and the midara have STAMINA.
-Encounters that use characters from the OpenRPG may cause a re-appearance of said midara, depending on outcome.

Paralyzed Status- Character will be unable to move next turn and will be unable to dodge the next attack

Charmed Status- The next attack dealt by the midara does +1 Willpower damage

Bind Status- Character will be unable to move and continually suffer 2 Willpower damage each turn unless they roll a 50 or higher and escape

Downed Status- Character's next action is skipped, allowing their opponent to attempt a follow-up

Dazed Status- Character must roll two successes instead of one in order to hit

Even rolls higher than 85 are considered critical and allows the attacker to follow up with another move

Odd rolls lower than 14 are critical failures, allowing the opponent's next attack to be a guaranteed success

Naedra starts with 30 Stamina.
Severa starts with 30 Willpower.

"That time of the month, eh?"

Severa vs. Naedra Empty
PostSubject: Re: Severa vs. Naedra   Severa vs. Naedra EmptyTue Jun 19, 2018 7:47 am

There was a saying for how to approach days like these. 'Count your blessings before your curses, then you'll forget all about what's troubling you while you focus on the what has been good.' However, when your only blessing on that day is counting a restful night sleep, you hardly had time to think about what was good over what was bad. Of course there were those days when Severa couldn't even count that blessing and they all ended on the same curse. Lavender.

A heavy gulp was forced down Severa's throat and turning her head slowly around, her mind buzzed with visceral imagery triggered by that perfumed scent and sultry, soft voice. Images flashed into the woman's subconscious, depicting the features that were slowly revealed by the lone light of the living room. Grand violet eyes, clothed in all black with dark features such as the wings and hair being choice accents to the Gothic attire. It was almost certainly that choice of clothing which was use to bring out the contrasting color of that pale flesh. All of it, familiar, but there was nothing positive about familiarity here. It was just another curse, possible the worst that Severa had to count on nights like these...

It hadn't taken Severa long to consider her options and the moment her mind was made up, she quickly arose from the couch to turn and face her intruder. Snapping to attention, it appeared like it was a surprise inspection with Severa quickly sliding up a wayward strap from her top back onto her shoulder before pulling her large jacket taut to cover herself up more. Suggesting that the presence of this voluptuous winged character was enough for Severa to forgo her usual character, and perhaps even deeper, indicating that she wanted to hide herself away. But there was no hiding from this. Not now. Not in the past.

"Wh-.." Despite the desire to express words, Severa mumbled a nervous start before croaking in her throat to clear her voice. "Why are you here?" She finally asked wavering in her voice and ignoring the earlier question of having a bad day all together. That much should have be obvious to both parties. Then again, the reason why Naedra was here was obvious, too. It dawned on Severa a moment later and she rectified her earlier question. "Why don't you just leave me alone?" Finding some source of strength, she managed to remove the signs of meekness and almost sounded threatening albeit a bit whiny.

Severa vs. Naedra Empty
PostSubject: Re: Severa vs. Naedra   Severa vs. Naedra EmptyWed Jun 20, 2018 9:52 pm

Naedra calmly watched as Severa took the time to compose herself, her gloved hands folded politely in front of her waist. Of course, Severa knew from experience that "politeness" was the furthest thing from the mind of this ruthless succubus, which begged the question as to why she even tried to fake it in the first place. To retain a regal air, perhaps? Confidence enough to toss away the element of surprise? Or maybe she was trying to throw Severa off her guard?

It could have been any of those, really—or none of them. Despite how many times she had crossed paths with Naedra (much to her dismay), the vixen's true nature still eluded her. Some nights, Naedra would simply appear with hardly a word and attack her without warning, draining her before she'd even gotten a chance to fight back, and leave just as quickly as she'd arrived.

This was not one of those nights, it seemed. Her walking nightmare was proving rather talkative tonight.

"Why don't I leave you alone...?" Naedra took a small step back, her expression wounded. "Oh, my poor dear...why would you say that?" The pain in her ethereal voice almost sounded genuine...but Severa heard a faint note of amusement in there along with it. She could tell that the succubus was enjoying her apprehension.

"Really..." Naedra took a few slow steps forward—not far enough to threaten Severa, but enough for the scent of lavender to grow just a little stronger. "Why would I ever leave you alone?" A small smile appeared on Naedra's face. "After all...who else will comfort you after a long, hard day?" She took another step, and her voice lowered to a more sultry tone. "Who else could give you such pure ecstasy, night after night?"

She lifted one of her fingers, and brought it to her mouth. Her wet tongue slowly slid out from between her lips, and as Severa watched, she gently gave it a lick. Faint sensations ran through Severa at the sight—familiar ones. The feeling of that warm, wet tongue sliding across her skin...making her shiver, making her cry out...

She'd hardly noticed that Naedra had taken a few more steps forward, and was now standing near the other edge of the couch.

"You need me, my little half-breed..." Naedra's smile was wider now. "You're so lucky. You're the only one who gets to experience this wonderful pleasure as much as you want." Her eyes narrowed with lust. "And...do you know why? It's okay if you can't remember..." She giggled. "After all, it's quite easy to simply forget yourself around me..."
