I love this game so far and you can download the current version for free so you should also at least try it, but anyways, here's how they work:
1. Choose a character from https://holocure.fandom.com/wiki/Character
2. They can at least use all of the abilities on their page, e.g. https://holocure.fandom.com/wiki/Tokino_Sora
3. They can also use any of the weapons on https://holocure.fandom.com/wiki/Weapon although they can't use the starting weapons other than their own.
4. They can also use a turn to try to find food. If successful, recover 4 HP.
5. Each time they use their own basic weapon or any of the weapons listed, it gains 1 level. They start at 2 damage and increase in damage by 1 each time they reach a rank where that weapons deals more damage. E.g. the Axe would deal 2/3/3/4/4/4/5 damage at levels 1/2/3/4/5/6/7.
6. If both weapons of a collab reach level 7, they can then use the collab and it deals the combined damage of both weapons that were combined for it, but then they can not use any other collabs that require any of the weapons that were used in that collab.
7. They can also use the items listed here: https://holocure.fandom.com/wiki/Item although they can only get the super items from defeating a super powerful foe and even then it is rare. They have to use up a turn to search for an item then have a 50% chance of a success and then they get one.
8. They can have at most 6 weapons and 6 items.
9. All their attacks and abilities can be used every round except the special, which has a 5-turn cooldown, 4-turn cooldown with idol costume, or 3-turn cooldown and usable twice before even going on cooldown with super idol costume.
10. They can also just sing. And AZKi is an especially good singer, whatever good that does lol.
11. If they have a pet, they can pet it.
And all of these can be playable characters. But now here's the real point of this
Following my example of Tokino Sora from above https://holocure.fandom.com/wiki/Tokino_Sora she has the power with her idol healing to be able to turn anyone or anything that is evil good, and it also amplifies the effects of her angel wings. If she gets any of her enemies to 0 stamina she turns them into heroines. But, if she herself is somehow turned evil, then those abilities drain all her nearby enemies and work towards turning them evil and she converts anyone she drains to 0 willpower.
