The pit is where fighters reside before they are called to fight, here they can socialise with each other and this is also where level ups are handled after every victory

After his fight with the Pixie, Karbon comes down here and waits for his level up results.

A burly looking guards enters and approaches karbon, "look, you did well, so you get 2 stat points, choose wisely then post your new stat sheet here"

"Sounds like a good choice" the guard grunts before leaving, "you should have some company soon, fight's just finished in Lilims arena.

"Wow well that was fun." Kirito entered the pit!

Matthias scanned his eyeballs suspiciously at the other two in the pit with him. Matthias was leaning back against a splintered chair at an old wooden table. A mug was resting on it as he gripped it and lifted it to his mouth for a taste. Though he was relaxing for his first battle he was still at full alert, scanning the other competitors (and perhaps opponents at some point). He took a gulp from his mug and gently set it back before wiping his mouth on his robe sleeve and looking up. "Hey, one of you guys.", he said in a low and calm demeanor. "Both of you fought. How was it? What kind of opponents did they have you fight?"

Karbon looks over at this new guys and smirks, "Well, you are just going to have to find out for yourself on this one, but let me give you a little hint, you wont have a bruise on your body after the fight." Karbon then leans over on the table he was at and waits for his name to be called again for his next fight.

Kirito walked over to Karbon. "Who'd you face off against?" He asked intrigued "I battled some Fairygirl."

Karbon looks up at Kirito and says, "Yea, I fought a Pixie myself. Little thing gave me alot of trouble but I was able to pull off a finishing blow on her... Tough little bugger..."

The guard from before reenters and approaches Kirito, "sorry to interrupt, but due to your performance in the last fight, you've gained 2 skill points, please apply them and paste you're new character sheet below

Another guard approaches Matthias, "well fought, add 2 skill points then repost your sheet" he says gruffly

Mathias walks towards Lucy. "Congratulations in your fight. I could hear your audience all the way from Lilith's arena. My name is Matthias by the way." He gives her a friendly smile, the fiery rage that was in him for the fight totally gone now.
