Overview:
The Lucidus Coven is a collection of Succubi led by The Mistress, whose real name is universally unknown. They comprise the House of Temptation, a brothel that to the rest of the world scarcely exists. The House is only ever discovered by those who are invited to it. Some are allowed to leave after being charmed and magically forced to return soon; others are simply imprisoned and used as a source of sustenance for the Succubi; a small portion of the customers are killed on the spot, so that the Succubi can gain greater power; regardless of your fate, the fact of the matter is that none are allowed to escape.
When they come in, they bring every cent they can muster at the moment that they receive the electronic invitation. The magic transmitted with the email robs them of their common sense, and so they grab everything they can before they exit their door and begin wandering aimlessly, led by the charm to the House of Temptation. There, the Succubi use numerous charms to distort the customer's state of mind, making them hyper-aggressive, calm and happy, or even so aroused they can hardly walk. While they have plenty of other capabilities, these techniques are mostly unique to the Lucidus coven. Even those techniques that are shared by other Succubi and Incubi are rarely performed so well as when the Lucidus girls perform them.
Recent History:
This Coven is very much a newcomer. While most Succubi are vaguely familiar with The Mistress, she's rarely acted in tandem with anyone else. A few years ago, however, she approached the leaders of the Remnants of the Old Order, the prevailing government, asking to create a new Coven. While no one is sure of precisely what their conversation entailed, after nearly a week of repeated meetings, it was agreed that she could do so. The two leaders, Edgard and Asgard, also allowed her to build her brothel as an experiment, but made it publicly aware that the agreement was limited - if they were to be attacked by Demon Hunters, they would receive no aid.
Still, The Mistress found this satisfactory, and began recruiting heavily. She dug through old contacts and acquired Lisa, Allison and Alleana, Eva, and Laura. Madison and Beatrix were soon acquired soon after, with The Mistress choosing to Turn them herself. This brings us to the events of In the House of Temptation.
Specialties:
The Lucidus Coven focuses on techniques that alter the mindset of their prey, which is usually best done through direct contact near the brain. In other words, they tend to use kiss-based techniques. They also make a point of executing even the most standard techniques with skill and quality, so many of them utilize additional skills to improve the various pleasures of sex. Such magic applications vary widely, from an intoxicating touch to sending the body into overdrive, producing enormous quantities of semen for voluminous orgasms. What no one outside the Coven knows is that all of the girls have been trained in basic Judo techniques by The Mistress to ensure they are always able to put up a fight.
Role as a Coven:
The House of Temptation only sees one or two "customers" per day, but each of them bring in hundreds, sometimes thousands of dollars when they arrive. Some men and women are even allowed to leave, knowing that they'll return with even more cash. As a result, the House sees a very significant inflow of cash. Some of that cash goes towards the various costs of the House, some goes to upgrades to the House (such as additional rooms, heightened security, and eventually a second branch), but more than half of it is given to the Remnants. The income the Remnant leadership sees from the Lucidus coven is small in comparison to others, especially the Liltists, but The Mistress is working on expanding the Coven and in-so-doing augmenting their income.
Unique Skills:
Kiss of Charm - Charm is a spell which relaxes the target and gives them a certain degree of romantic and sexual attraction to the caster AND anyone they identify as a friend. As a direct result, this spell has been the cause of many-a-heartbreak among high-school kids who thought to dabble in magic without fully understanding the effects of the spell; they would apply the spell to their crush and enter a romantic relationship, only to find their new boy- or girlfriend fucking their best friend.
Kiss of Seduction - Seduction is similar to Temptation, but while the latter gives the victim a certain degree of excitement by default, Seduction can apply any level of enthusiasm, depending on the caster. As such, a Kiss of Seduction can result in a calm man with a raging boner or a woman so aggressively in need of sex, she'd rather orgasm than eat, and anything in between. The limits depend on the skill of the caster, but a medium level of excitement will always be the easiest and least-costly (in terms of magic power) option.
Kiss of Healing - This spell is unique, in that it is Kiss-Based only. While most other techniques on this list can be applied in multiple ways, Healing must be applied by the lips. No one is quite sure why, but there are a few prevailing theories. This technique is capable of healing injury and illness alike, including otherwise-incurable diseases. Improving this skill means both being able to cure more complex diseases and injuries, and making such cures cost less magic and time. For injuries, the kiss can be applied anywhere on the body; for diseases, it must be applied to the chest near the heart.
Kiss of Frenzy - Frenzy takes the upper limits of Seduction and puts them in a car, in an airplane, above a volcano... and pushes. As said limits plummet in their automobile-of-a-cage, Frenzy proceeds to spit towards them while programming the auto-pilot to nose-dive after them into the volcano to make certain that, after the car lands in the lava, the resulting explosion kills those upper limits good and dead. Frenzy proceeds to jump off the plane at the last moment and pulls his parachute, applies a pair of black sunglasses, and makes certain not to look at the explosion. Men and Women alike, under the effect of Frenzy, will fuck until exhaustion. They will spend every bit of energy they can muster to turbo-fuck any and every hole presented to them, ignoring injuries on themselves or their partners. The spell only ends when they lose consciousness, regardless of whether that's to sleep for a few hours, for the night, or for eternity.
Kiss of Paralysis - Paralysis freezes the limbs and non-essential muscles of the victim, leaving important organs and muscles untouched and fully functional.
Kiss/Eyes of Surrender - Surrender is a unique way to defeat an enemy or seduce a target. They simply give up, feeling their will to resist disappear. They will go along with whatever the caster or anyone else wants, and will do so calmly.
Overload - Overload is a specialty of the Lucidus coven, not to be found anywhere else. Overload can be applied through any type of sexual contact between two bodies - Oral, Anal, Vaginal, Mammary, Intercrural... the list goes on. However, in spite of its numerous forms, only very few Succubi can manage to learn the technique at all, and almost no one knows more than one method of application. When applied, Overload fries the senses of the victim and burns out any magical energy they have, while the victim feels only an eternity of pleasure. This can be useful against enemies of a demonic nature, as well as Demon Hunters who make use of magic. The Magic is so powerful that it frequently causes death within a few short seconds. As a side effect, any target that survives will be under a Charm spell afterwards, allowing the caster to apply any spell they wish. It is surprisingly light on magical consumption, but still takes decades to fully master. Only one Succubus is known to have mastered all applications of the spell. Unsurprisingly, that Succubus is The Mistress.

Not much is known about The Mistress, not even by her own "employees," the only exception being by the Twins, who refuse to say a word. What is known about her begins about two years ago, when she began recruiting other Succubi to her Brothel. This included contacting preexisting Succubi and turning human girls into new ones. The result is as you see it - a trap for humans they can happily feed on, who need nothing more than an email message (with a bit of magic attached) to bring them in. The Succubi see the House of Temptation as a consistent source of sustenance, which was always hard to come across, and respect The Mistress for making it happen and bringing them together under one roof, something unheard of among Succubi for thousands of years.
As for The Mistress herself, her body is beautiful, and her sexual skills will send you to heaven in an instant. Any fetish you can think of, she'll happily employ. Combine that with a superior intellect and unbelievable magical power, and you have a potential Queen of all Succubi in the making.

Combined with a fatalistic attitude that all humans eventually die, their submission to their need to feed, and their incredible magical prowess; combine all of these things, and you have a pair of unfeeling killers, dressed as schoolgirls.
The Twins know little about the Mistress, in spite of their advanced age. They'd crossed paths with her hundreds of times before joining the Lucidus Coven, but each meeting left them with more questions than answers. However, they've seen one thing about the Mistress that they refuse to speak of - her full capabilities.

Madison slowly stepped back from the ledge, and The Mistress landed in front of her. "What should I do?" Madison asked her as she wrapped her arms around the unsteady, scared teenager. "Nothing," The Mistress replied. "Just enjoy yourself and be reborn."
And so Jane White was willingly Turned into Madison the Succubus.

| I love your work! The first game was wicked!! Honestly cannot wait for the second one I am sure you heard all kinds of compliments for the game, and they are all true, but let me just say that the detail when you described how there are human furniture torture devices in the Mistress' room was awesome!!! | Making a minor change to the Picture used for the Twins, to something less sexualized. Moving forward, I really don't want to deal with any sort of problems because of it. As such, I've switched it out for another picture from a similar work by the same artist(s).
I'm also working on acquiring sauce for all profile pictures, and will be keeping track of the sauce of every such picture I acquire.
Further, if you haven't taken a look at the Liltist Coven profiles, do so. I'm about halfway through on them. Lacking details on personality and powers, but other than that, I'm chugging away at it. Similarly, I'm revising the descriptions of the Lucidus profiles, to include information the Main Character may not have access to. So, spoiler alert on that... | |
