How'd you get into this, huh?

Probably been asked before. I know grappling moves in video games, especially from female characters, played a big part in making me like this kind of thing.

It's also fun to return to that youthful mindset of not wanting to be kissed, mixed with the pubescent realization that I do, in fact, want to be kissed.

But what made you like kissing so much? Did you watch a cartoon? A movie? Did you play a game? I'm truly curious.

Mine came from watching the Powerpuff Girls during their first encounter with the Rowdyruff Boys lol.

I actually believe it started waaaay back when I was a kid, where I had a childhood friend of mine. We liked eachother a lot, and became kind of like a couple (we were like 5 or 6 years old by the time so it was basically a childish version of it). We were esentially young and not at all knowledgeable, but a few kisses, we did have. Then, I remmember that there was another girl I was friends with that actually caught interest in me too. I invited her home one day and she kissed me too. I was a kid then, so I wasn't aquainted with the concept of cheating and all. So, I believe it started because as a kid, I was really exposed to kissing, and it evolved into what now is my fancy for kissing, and has brought me here today!

I was kissed a lot as a kid, as time went on and i entered early puberty i realized that this was my kink. Then i wandered the internet aimlessly searching for something that would satisfy me. I stumbled upon the lipstick fetish fourms, but i wasn't really into the "real porn" stage yet. So i then took a break to play some spyro (Some of you might be able to tell where this is going) then i ran into the fairies and they kissed spyro, it was the only thing i had found that really flipped my switch (I can't tell you how many times i replayed the level just to get to the fairy, i stopped counting after a while.) Skip forward a couple years i had figured out that it was kisses in video games that i was interested in.
I then typed into google "Enemies in video games that have kiss attacks" to my surprise "Upon Her Lips" came up and i clicked on it, next thing you know i'm lurking in the woodworks and surprise! I made an account where i've met you awesome people in a place where i can really let loose and be myself!

I think it was Disney's Aladdin show, where you had a mermaid who slowly turned the protagonist into a sea creature with a kiss in order to steal him away. For me, it isn't about the kissing per sé (I also viscerally enjoy the fembots in Austin Powers for example), but the balance between mind control and genuine desire, the subtlety of seduction and the raw physicality of a sloppy make-out, the sublime and outlandish scenarios allowed for by a fantasy/supernatural setting: this site offers the perfect mix of it all.

If I try to go even more analytical, the midara at least to me presents a concept of guilt-free sexuality. The fantasy setting allows leeway for ideas that would come across as awkward or jarringly superficial when the trappings are more realistic (the dude is a slave to his lust, the midara's only goal in life is to seduce the dude at any cost). Moreover, charm magic and all its varieties allow for dubcon without the uncomfortable aspects of noncon, like any good Harlequin novel knows how to balance. Any self-image issues, which can still sometimes pop up when fantasizing ("yeah right, the super-attractive lusty woman will never go for me"), are brushed aside due to the set-up: she enjoys toying with the underconfident and corrupting the innocent, her only care is turning you into her loveslave no matter how you look, or how your personality is, or your status in society, you get the gist.

The kisses, as much as they are a genuine kink, are also relatively chaste (notice how many of the stories simply let the protagonist slip into sleep or reduce the sex act to a single paragraph versus the amount of time spend on describing kisses). It's easy to make a "hurhur, write what you know" jab here, but I personally think it is done because it's harder to write sex in a satisfying manner without verging into the dreaded IKEA erotica stuff.

It's easy to come up with pop-psych explanations for all the other aspects: RPG trappings because it channels things into a format that doesn't require as much detailed effort to write interactions, and makes it more comfortable to roleplay for dudes, partial seduction without ever becoming a love-slave instantly so the protag can go on to have lots of sex with different women (the classic hallmark of success), and so on and so forth. I dunno, this is pretty off-the-cuff, what do you folks think?

For me, it was outright thanks to Poison Ivy. Seeing her kiss Batman in BTAS gave me one of my earliest erections, and having her so damn sexy and kissing several victims in the movie Batman and Robin solidified my fetish. The whole sex and death thing is just really erotic.

A long time ago, I was different. I mean like, I didn't even know how to fap or anything yet. So I may have been massively overloaded at that time. But in any case, I played one of the Castlevania games and the succubus made me just so horny I thought I was going to orgasm or something. I would just let myself get hit by that attack as many times as possible all the time.
Finally, I had the Beowulf movie and I'd watch the scene with Angelina Jolie as Grendel's mother because God damn it, I found it hot then.
