I tried it with a fresh install of the game, same error. I have RPG_RT (exe, config, and access file.) Maps 1-408, then a bunch of folders (backdrop, battle, charset, chipset, faceset, gameover, monster, movie, music, panorama, picture, sound, system, title.)
Also, in RPG Maker, it doesn't have an enemy troops tab, but it has a monsters party tab that has the test battle button.

Sounds like you have all the files then. Take me through the steps on how you are trying to start the battle. Start with when you just opened the project in RPG Maker 2000

I go to Tool -> Database. Then I click on the Monsters Party tab. Click on a monster in the sidebar, then click battle test. In the menu that pops up, I hit start test, and I get the error "file preparation fault. Can't Test Battle."

That's how I access it as well. Are you able to play the game and get into battles that way?

And it's right by the Skankbots so you can see their kiss. I'd really like to get further though, but I'm so tired of all those annoying puzzles for now.

Yes, I am. Do you think it might be the english rtp that I downloaded? I got it from https:// 2drpg.com /2000.php , and at it's the one marked rtp1.32

I love this game. My OS can't load the RPGMaker it uses though, so I'm still trying to get through the game. I can't seem to become a master ninja. I got all the scrolls the walkthrough mentioned, entered the codes for all the ones I have, and talked to the ninja, but it doesn't seem to work. Is there some hidden extra scroll somewhere the walkthrough doesn't mention?

Anyone have save game, after you have collect all those Ninja fa##ing scrolls.. Or what those are... I used hours.. And i cant find all of them... Maybe bug.. i dont know. Smile

Oh I have all of them but Scan. That's probably why it won't let me advance. Let me see if I can figure out how to get scan and then I might be able to get passed there. I have the rest.

Edit: I have all scrolls and entered them all in. It still doesn't work.
