Rom vs Chantelle Lacroix

Artifact retrieval was either the easiest or hardest job, and this one appeared to be the former. All Rom had to do was grab someone's jewelry from a cave, and bring it back. The contact remained anonymous, never a good sign, but not always a bad one. Only challenge that seemed present when he found the cave was the lack of lighting, quickly solved by a torch.

He entered the cave, torch in hand, but it wasn't until 5 minutes that he realized that something was amiss. Not only was there no sign of any jewelry, there was no sign of any previous inhabitants. Not only that, but he slowly realized that there was no sign of life at all. No bats hanging from the ceiling, no insects buzzing around, not a single patch of moss. Just dirt on the floor and uneven stone walls.

Before he could turn to leave, an unseen force snuffed out the flame of his torch, and he was stuck in pure darkness.

Without warning, bright lights came on to reveal a very unexpected scene. He found himself standing in a wrestling ring, across from a purple-clad wrestling woman and two shorter businesswomen. The ring was situated in an arena with rows and rows of seats encircling it. The seats were occupied by cheering women... no... midara.

Though he was surrounded by a horde of dangerous demons, Rom figured he only need worry about the one in front of him.

Hopefully, he could leave this confrontation without falling victim to a midara's charms. That'd be nice.

=Simple Wrestling RP=

-The old ruleset applies: the rolls are 1 to 100 even rolls are a success, uneven rolls are a failure.
-Characters are allowed 1 free action but must otherwise stick to their movepools*
-Instead of VIRTUE and VICE, the adventurers have WILLPOWER and the midara have STAMINA.
-Encounters that use characters from the OpenRPG may cause a re-appearance of said midara, depending on outcome.
(*= A free move can be utilized as often as desired as long as it is used to perform a wrestling maneuver.)

Paralyzed status- Character will be unable to move next turn and will be unable to dodge the next attack

Charmed Status- The next attack dealt by the midara does +1 Willpower damage

Bind Status- Character will be unable to move and continually suffer 2 Willpower damage each turn unless they roll a 50 or higher and escape

Floored Status- Character is layed out on the ground and must either react to the next move from this position, or use a turn to get up.

Rage Status- Character must use a basic attack with 1/2 the accuracy, but 2x the damage if successful.

Rolls higher than 85 are considered critical and allows the attacker to follow up with another move

Rom's Abilities

Basic Slash- Rom cuts at the opponent with his longsword. Deals 2 Stamina damage (can be used every turn)

Empower- Roms longsword glows with a holy light. Adds +2 Stamina damage to attacks for the next 2 turns (can be used every 2 turns)

Impaling throw - Rom impales his opponent and then uses his sword as leverage as he throws them over his shoulder to the ground. (deals 2 damage and stuns) useable every 2 turns

Focus- Rom draws on his inner will, allowing the next attack he takes to only deal 1/2 Willpower damage and has a chance to let him shrug off status effects if the roll is 65 or higher (can be used every 2 turns)

Holy Light- Rom's sword shoots out a ray of white light at his opponent. Deals 4 Stamina damage + paralysis status (can be used every 4 turns)

Survival Instinct (passive)-If his Willpower drops to 8 or lower, Rom gains advantage on avoiding attacks (he gets to roll two dice and if one is a success, the dodge succeeds, even if the other roll fails).

Chantelle's Moves:

Louise Thez Press: ????? 1-5 Willpower Damage.

Long Kiss Goodnight: ????? Deals 4 willpower damage and floors opponent.

Inverted Atomic Drop: 2-6 Willpower damage depending on gender of opponent.

Charming Taunts: ????? Causes either rage or charm and makes her next attack deal 1.5x damage.

Dirty Reversals: Opponents' failure rolls 85 or above will allow Chantell to cause them damage.

Foreign Object: This move introduces a foreign object into the encounter.
- Sand and/or perfume can blind an opponent, stunning them and leaving them vulnerable to Chantelle's next attack.
- Handcuffs bind the opponent's wrists together. Can also be used around ring ropes and ring posts to all but completely incapacitate the opponent.
- Brass Knuckles allow for one basic attack that causes massive damage. Cannot be used consecutively.

"well, this sort of thing is beginning to not even surprise me anymore" Rom said, semi frustrated with the turn of events

"Alright then, let's do this." Rom continues, annoyance plain to hear in his voice as he beckons to his opponent

The violet Midara across the ring took a microphone from one of her apparent assistants as a rather inconspicuous looking Midara forced one into his hand.

A sound technician Midara? Hm...

"It seems you are unfamiliar with moi," the violet Midara said with a sultry French accent ",je m'appelle Chantelle Lacroix, and you are my latest plaything!"

"Well Chantelle, I hate to disappoint you but that's not going to happen" Rom replies into the microphone, taking a second to assess this bizarre situation before continuing "Buuut, I'm never one to disappoint a crowd, so how about we cut the chit chat and get to the fun part". Rom gives a confident smile, he knew deep down however they this wouldn't be easy, the vixen across from him looked confident and gorgeous, plus the French accent was going to make her a lot harder to ignore...

"Musique à mes oreilles~" she cooed into the mic before handing it off to an assistant. She beckoned to him with a finger and the bell rang. The match had begun.

Dammit, the French accent really gave her an unfair advantage, Rom thought to himself before drawing his blade and empowering it with holy magic
"Ladies first" he taunted, getting ready to dodge

"No weapons!" the toned referee yelled before tossing his sword out of the ring. Before he could protest, she placed a soft peck on his lips and he felt a sudden empowerment within him. He was a swordsman by experience, but he felt the same familiarity with his sword in his hands and feet.

"There, now you're all set," she said before stepping away to let the match continue.

Well... That was unexpected, Rom now finds himself unarmed, but feels the power that he would've imbued into his blade coursing through him. Then Chantelle continued to taunt him, her confident mannerisms fluster the warrior slightly but not enough to deter him.

Dashing in towards Chantelle, Rom throws a punch with good newly empowered fists!

Rom did not hide his intentions well, which allowed Chantelle to duck his strike easily.

Chantelle went to grab him, but Rom was just a step too quick and moved to a safe distance.

"Huh, not bad darling, but not good enough!" As Rom finishes he runs once more at Chantelle and tries to land a roundhouse kick!

Rom drove his foot into the side of the Diva's head, sending her stumbling back.

Bouncing off the ropes, Chantelle lept onto Rom and planted three slow, firm kisses on his face. She winked at him, his face now riddled with purple lipstick, before getting back up.

Rom climbs to his feet, hurriedly wiping the marks off his face with the back of his hand "sorry but, purples really not my colour"

Rom runs at Chantelle and attempts to grapple her and throw her over his shoulder onto the mat!

With unexpected speed, Rom picked up the Diva and tossed her across the ring in an impressive belly-to-belly suplex. The Diva was slow to get up, giving Rom another opportunity.

Deciding not to take any risks leaving the ring and moving closer to the crowd of Midara, Rom simply waits, energy coursing through him

"You're gonna get disqualified if you stay out there you know" he taunts

Chantelle walking around the outside of the ring looked like nothing more than frustrated pacing, just as she had meant it to look.

One of Chantelle's assistants snuck into the ring as both Rom's and the ref's backs were turned. She spun Rom around and blasted him with a particularly powerful spray of perfume, sending him staggering into a far corner.

(Rom is stunned!)

As soon as his back hit the corner, the assistants were on him. The one in the ring peppered his lips and right side as the other assaulted his left.

By the time Chantelle slid back into the ring, narrowly avoiding a ten count, the assistants had made themselves look casual outside the ring and Rom, who was speckled in purple kisses, stumbled dazed toward the center of the ring.

Chantelle charged confidently at the woozy Rom and lept on top of him. She proceeded to bombard his face with hard, animated kisses. Each smack brought Rom thoughts of submission, the smell and feel of her lipstick enamored him.

When her attack was finished, Rom's face and neck were almost entirely violet with kiss marks. Suddenly, all that momentum he built had gone down the toilet.

Rom was sent into a daze, that onslaught had been almost too much to take at once. He staggers to his feet and tries to clear his head, not trusting himself enough to make another attack attempt in his current mindstate

With impressive footwork, the Trickster dodged around the narrow range of Rom's strike to his front.

Wrapping her arms around his waist, Chantelle lifted Rom into the air and brought him down crotch-first onto her bent knee. In the moment before he fell over from the pain, the Diva planted a soft kiss on his lips with an exaggerated "mwah!" and pushed him into his back. A new coat of violet now stained his mouth.
