She smiled beatifically and began to sing the most beautiful song ever sung, her voice clear and fully in tune, with a passion that belied the heart she put into it. However, what he nearly missed was the dark essence dripping from every note as they made their way to his ears.

During this entire fight, he had been drawing ever closer to that thing. Something told him that if he went in, he'd be doomed. Glaring at Nimea, he aimed his arm at her, energy beginning to coalesce in his arm before he lifted up at her. "Take this...."

The energy hit it's peak, firing off towards the lady of the Lake with the fury of an angry star. It's intent was simple enough. To at least Damage her.

Nimea felt herself get blown off her guard as she got blasted back by his beam into the lake. However, this just filled her with glee, and out of the lake she emerged with another Droplet. "So you still have some fight left in you. That's good, magician, I like to have at least a little resistance at least."

The Droplet giggled eagerly as she moved in on him and pulled him into a kiss, her lips blackening just long enough for him to see before it seeped into his body and corrupted him just a bit more.

And to top it all off, the song of the lake was getting louder and more tantalizing, as voice started to whisper into his ear to give in to the serenity of the lake and drown in the bliss they could offer him.

Geno cursed under his breath as a clone showed up. "Yeah, you'll be getting a lot more out of me! I ain't setting foot in that lake! I-Mmph?!" Before he could finish, the Droplet's kiss interrupted him..And that singing...It was certainly something....

Shaking his head, he tried to step back...

And began backpedaling as much as he could. He didn't know what they had planned, but if he could stay away from the lake, that was enough for him.

The two smiled to each other as one evaporated and appeared behind him, holding him down before he could get too far. "Where do you think you're going, dear?" Nimea walked over to him and pulled him in for a deep kiss, generating a bit more than the normal amount of corruption to make him docile. "There~ How's that?"

Geno was too stunned to keep fighting at the moment and, to make things worse the whispers and sweet nothings the other lake spirits were offering were drawing him right back to the lake. He now stood at the edge. One more step and he was done for.

Geno's eyes widened even more at the kiss, before he felt his feet get closer and closer to the water. Damnit...He...He couldn't pull free...His body wouldn't listen. "Get....off....of...me....What..Do you want..from me?"

"I at first wished to see if you'd qualify to be a knight, but you barely resisted," Nimea whispered as she pushed him into the water. "However, you're not worth the artifacts. In fact~" She and her Droplet dragged him into the lake, his body seizing up as corruption flooded ever part of his body. "There's something inside you that's far more important~" As her Droplet pulled his pants off and began to pump his dick inside her, she pulled something out of him, a bright, shining star when it first emerged, but the moment it became fully submerged in the waters, its luster dulled and its light faded until it became a pure black star.

He couldn't move....He couldn't breathe...

And her words simply frustrated him...But before he could do anything, he felt...weakened. Looking down, he noticed in horror as the Star Spirit within him was ripped out, his body going limp as the star got darker and darker. "L..e...t.....g...o...."

It was too much. The corruption, the spirits, the water, everything..It was overwhelming him.

She fully ripped the Star Spirit out of his body and fully corrupting it. "This is quite the fortunate find~ Thank you, dear puppet."

And with that, Geno went completely still. Whatever she had planned for the corrupted spirit, it could not be good. That kind of power was..not one to use lightly.
