The way to a person's heart is often through their stomach.
This was heavily inspired by Bravely Second and I took way too long to make this profile.
Sucre, Patissier ExtraordinaireAppearance: https://safebooru.org/index.php?page=post&s=view&id=1952444
Description: The denizens of Hell are a rare sight in the mortal realm, as sufficient sources of sin are a struggle to get ahold of in order for them to remain outside of that infernal world. In some cases, they will use means to stir up the sin they need themselves through various means, usually discreetly if they didn't want to be found out. So few would suspect that a renowned chef famous for her pastries and desserts would actually be a resident of Hell itself. Despite her human-like appearance and what her cover identity would suggest, Sucre is a demon of Gluttony at her core. To drum up the sin needed for her to remain in this world full of lust, she masquerades as a traveling confectioner, selling her delicious pastries to many, bringing about the Gluttony latent within her clients for her to feed upon. Though hardly malicious enough to be a major trouble, she is more than capable of handling herself in a conflict...and has all the ingredients needed to ensure her opponent tastes defeat among other things.
Passives:Just Desserts - The majority of Sucre’s techniques involve the creation of various confections. She may keep three confections on her platter at any time. Once she has made one, she may send a serving of the dessert towards her target as a free action. Each confection has four servings unless otherwise stated. Consuming multiple servings will prolong the effect. If a target has consumed four servings of the same dessert, the resulting effect will be permanent throughout the rest of the battle (with exceptions).
Refined Palate - Being a true connoisseur herself, Sucre is keenly aware of meals that are less than innocent. Any abilities used against her that require consumption in some form will automatically fail.
Abilities:Bon Appétit - This ability does not require a roll. Sucre will compose a confection and add it to her platter. The effects of each confection are as follows:
- Soft Sponge Cake - Increases target’s damage taken by 50% for 5 turns.
- Robust Layer Cake - Decreases target’s damage taken by 50% for 5 turns.
- Withering Ganache - Decreases target’s damage dealt by 50% for 5 turns.
- Flourishing Fondant - Increases target’s damage dealt by 50% for 5 turns.
- Drowsy Sorbet - Removes any secondary effects from the target’s abilities for 5 turns.
- Vigorous Parfait - Allows the secondary effects of a target’s abilities to always activate without rolling for 5 turns. If the effects do not require a roll, it will instead amplify or extend the effect, depending on the ability and effect.
- Devil’s Food Cake - Removes all positive effects and buffs from the target.
- Angel’s Food Cake - Removes all negative effects and debuffs from the target.
- Radiant Fruit Tart - Recovers 5 HP with the first serving. Subsequent servings apply Regen to the target for 5 turns. (Recover 2 HP per turn.) Further servings will extend the regen’s duration, but will not apply it permanently.
- Special Profiterole - Takes an additional two turns to make and only has one serving. The confection is so nourishing that it will get fallen allies right back on their feet and come to their senses. Revives allies from KO with 10 HP.
- Enigmatic Cheesecake - Applies a specific status ailment for 3 turns, depending on the second digit of the number rolled. Subsequent servings of the cheesecake will always inflict the same type of status ailment.
0, 1 - Poison (2 stamina damage per turn)
2, 3 - Dazed (Target’s must succeed on two rolls in order for their attack to land.)
4, 5 - Charmed (+1 to all willpower attacks used against the target)
6, 7 - Dread (Disadvantage on all attack and struggle rolls.)
8, 9 - Paralysis (Lasts one turn. Target cannot act and attacks against the target will automatically succeed.)
Sucre may use her action to give one serving to an ally or skillfully launch it at her enemies. Even so much as contacting the pastry will convey its effects. A roll is only required if her target is an enemy.
Glacé - Sucre decorates and applies special finishes to her confections, making them look more appetizing than they already were. The effects of the decorated confection are doubled or have advantage on the rolls used to serve them depending on the confection.
Plenty For Everyone - Requires at least one confection with all its servings. Sucre takes these servings and serves them at once to every enemy/ally on the field. Only one roll needs to be made for this move.
Taste Test - Sucre takes a small taste of one of the confections on her platter, granting the effect of that confection without consuming a serving.
Waste Not - Never one to waste her creations, Sucre chooses one of the confections on her platter and consumes it herself. If it is one that provides positive benefits, she will recover 20% of her max HP (rounded up.) Otherwise, her next 3 rolls will be made with advantage.
Flambé - Using a volatile mix of ingredients, Sucre unleashes a fire attack on all enemies on the field. The move does 3 damage at its base, but does an extra 2 damage towards enemies with status afflictions or debuffs.
Piestorm - Sucre tosses several freshly made pies at all enemies on the field. Apart from being a staple in slapstick comedy, the move deals 2 HP in damage and has a chance to inflict a burn for 3 turns, causing disadvantage on any rolls that do direct damage to a target.
