| Subject: Lonk, stand-in hero of Hyrule Sun Apr 26, 2020 5:45 am | |
| The joke’s on you, if you thought that was a typo. - Appearance:
Bio: With every great line of legendary heroes -- there will always be an equally expansive ensemble of imitators and charlatans to follow in their shadow. This particularly insipid epigone elected to copycat a well renowned hero in green, unimaginative enough to have only switched a single vowel in the ancient warrior's name for his own matching (yet technically dissimilar) alias. Lacking in any of the qualities that made his progenitor so well-regarded, closer to criminally infringing copyist than a hero of time, but more than willing to reap the oft rewards of being intentionally mistaken for said hero.
Moves: (More to come, if I don't get lazy)
Passive - Breathless in the wild: Untrained in survival, let alone combat of any capacity, Lonk's mad flailing has the uncanny ability to put off his would-be opponents. If Lonk has yet to take any damage, or is below five WP -- he rolls at an advantage.
A Link to the past - Trying to imitate one of the green hero's staple techniques, Lonk swivels on his heel, sword held in outstretched arms and swung with reckless abandon. Roll three times, with each success dealing two damage.
Groundward Sword - Wielding a pallid mimicry of the once world renowned master sword; The shoddy replica is further held back by Lonk's inability to carry it against the force of gravity. Relying on downward momentum, he only ever swings overhead. Deals 3 damage.
Trackless Spirit - Charging forward and quickly coming to a screeching halt, Lonk takes advantage of his speed to spring a powerful kick into the opponent's legs. Deals 2 damage.
Interlinked Worlds - Fishing across his belt, Lonk swipes up a thrashing fairy in a bottle, struggling to unseal the cap. If Lonk is not damaged in the following turn, he opens to bottle and heals 6 WP. If he takes damage, he drops the bottle and deals one damage to both him and the opponent.
Timeless Ocarina - Knowing that the hero he now willingly imitates carried a blue, ornate Ocarina -- Lonk tries to replicate the allure of this effect through his own melodies, which leads to an ear-wrenching performance. Makes the opponent roll at a disadvantage for the next two turns. _________________ "Don't pay for drugs, let your friends do that!"
