First attempt at making a character here, let's see what I can do!
Dustin is a Fledgling Alchemist, fresh from the academy and trying to make a name for himself out in the world. Living in a small shack in the woods (properly sized for his 3'5" build), Dustin has had no shortage of exotic ingredients and creatures to experiment with. His experience with the outside world has been a bit of a mixed bag: He's met plenty of adventurers who've been willing to either help carry his things for a while, or just stay and chat for a bit, to whom he usually gifts one of his potions. He's also encountered a good handful of folks who, let's just say, don't have his best interest at heart. The poor alchemist hasn't had a very social life, and as such he has difficulty telling these types apart.
Description:Dustin is a bunny boy, bright pink fur covers his body and usually helps him blend in with his favored environment of a magical forest. Twin buck teeth protrude from his muzzle, capped with a little black nose. Two long lapine ears poke up through his golden hair and are very expressive, often giving away his exact emotional state. Usually adorned in a protective apron or smock, Dustin stands at a mere 3 foot 5 inches, though if he really tries, he can get his ears to extend to make him a full 5 feet tall.
Abilities:High Energy, Low Stamina (Passive): Some of Dustin's moves are particularly tiring for him, giving him a stack of "Sluggish" after using them. For each stack of Sluggish, 6 is subtracted from Dustin's odd physical rolls, possibly leading to a critical failure!
Swift (Passive): Dustin's small frame means he's overall pretty weak, but his size combined with powerful legs makes him fast and lets him make quick movements at a moment's notice. He has advantage on avoiding binds and traps that he can see as long as his mind is clear and he is not inflicted with a stack of Sluggish.
Snuggable (Passive): Dustin, while adept at avoiding binds and holds, is not very good at escaping them. His small frame makes him easy to hug and squeeze as if he were a little plush doll. Rolls disadvantage when escaping from binds and traps.
Bag of Goodies (Passive): Dustin constantly carries a messenger bag filled with various potions. While he has it he has access to several strong attacks, but he loses the bag if disrobed, also making him unable to use his potions.
Springloaded: Dustin enters a defensive low crouch, waiting for his enemy to attack. At the first sign of their attack he has 2 options:
1: He can leap high into the air in an attempt to avoid it, attempting to either grab onto something above him to give him distance from his enemy, or retaliate by using Desperate Throw while airborne.
Grants a stack of Sluggish.
-OR-2: Deliver a devastating version of Bunny Kick by falling on his back and releasing his built-up energy into one all-or-nothing kick. Deals 5 damage, leaves Dustin downed and he will have to spend a turn getting back to his feet.
Grants a stack of Sluggish.
Desperate Throw (ALWAYS HITS): In a move of desperate panic, Dustin reaches blindly into his bag and throws out the first potion bottle he can get his hands on in an attempt to make the situation better. This move can be used immediately after a normal move, and grants a stack of Sluggish. Roll 1-6 to see the effect that takes place:
- Potion Effects:
1: Gluetrap Bottle- The bottle shatters at his opponent's feet, covering the ground they're standing on in a large glue-like substance. Whoever is trapped must make 2 successful rolls to escape the glue, or 1 crit success. A crit failure will get them even more stuck and they will need an extra success to escape.
2: Slow-Acting Aphrodisiac- Creates a cloud of pink mist on breaking, dealing 2 damage every turn someone is in it, and 1 damage per turn for 3 turns after they leave the cloud.
3: "Cold Shower Hot Coffee" Potion- A refreshing mist that, when inhaled, removes all debuffs gained during the fight, including Sluggish
4: Stamina Potion- Simple health regenerating potion, restores 2d4 Stamina/Willpower to whoever it hits
5: Sleep Mist- The bottle smashes into a pale blue mist and makes the target drowsy, giving them a disadvantage to their next action. If they cannot remove the Drowsy effect after 2, they will be put to sleep and will be unable to act until they roll 2 successes or take damage. A Crit Success will instantly wake up the sleeping creature, while a Crit Failure will lull them deeper into their slumber, resetting the 2-success requirement.
6: Invisibility Potion- Shattering into a splash of silver liquid, the target is made completely invisible for 2 turns! An invisible creature has advantage on their next move, and any attacks made against them MUST be a critical success in order to hit!
7: "Stone's Dull Touch" Potion- Numbs the senses, halving damage taken for 2 turns, but your mind won't be as sharp during the effect, making the target more trusting and easily tricked
8: Sensitivity Potion- Quadruples the next source of damage taken
Though this move always hits, it won't always hit who Dustin wants it to! An Even hit will apply the effect to his target, while an Odd hit will cause Dustin to fumble and apply it to himself accidentally!
On a crit success, Dustin gets to choose what potion will take effect, and on a crit failure his opponent gets to pick the potion.
Bunny Bite:(Usable while Bound) Dustin puts those big ol' incisors to work! Deals 2 damage
Bunny Kicks:(Usable while Bound)Using his powerful legs, Dustin delivers a swift couple of kicks to his opponent, dealing 2 damage. Dustin can deal an additional blow at the cost of gaining a stack of Sluggish. This attack deals double damage per hit if Dustin is in a grab and his legs are unbound.
Aggressive Nuzzle: (Only Usable while Bound) Taking advantage of a snuggly situation, Dustin rubs his adorable pink-furred face roughly into his opponent. Deals 3 damage if caught in a Breast Smother, otherwise Deals 1 damage.
Weaknesses:"Mommy" Types- Dustin is a bit too polite, and he has a hard time saying no to pretty older ladies until he's been shown they're bad news.
((Debating putting a weakness to lips, but that might make him too weak...))
