Backstory: Formerly the 16th son of a noble Tenzin was sent to a monastery by his eldest sister at a young age in order to keep him from ever making a claim to the throne. He quickly learned the Way of the Steps and the Way of the Weaving Blade from the monks at the monastery before leaving to travel the world.
Personality: Tenzin is seemingly detached though empathetic often times making him susceptible to people who plead for his help. He is kind but when his friends are endangered he becomes ruthlessly deadly
Skills:
Serene Mind (Passive): Upon entering battle Tenzin enters a state of absolute serenity making him difficult to hit, in this state he gains advantage on any rolls to resist debuffs or conditions, takes -1 damage, and all attacks against him have disadvantage. However whenever he is hit by an attack regardless if it does damage or not he must make a roll at disadvantage to reenter the state (This auto fails if he is charmed, put to sleep, or hypnotized). If he exits this state in combat he must spend a turn to actively reenter the state. Entering the state doesn’t clear any debuffs or conditions and he doesn’t get advantage on rolls to resist effects that stack
Agile Parry (Passive): Whenever Tenzin successfully lands an attack he takes -1 damage from any physical attacks from the target of the attack using his sword as a barrier between him and his opponent.
Way of the Steps (Passive): The more Tenzin lands attacks the more attacks he can deliver each turn. Every time Tenzin lands an attack he gains a Step Counter, these counters reset whenever he misses an attack.
Slash: A Basic Attack that deals 2 damage
Stillness of Mind: Whenever he is charmed Tenzin can spend a turn to instantly end the attack however due to the stillness of his body attacks have advantage, however he is unable to be given conditions.
1st Weave - Eternal Vortex: Taking on the aspects of a whirlpool Tenzin spins around in a flurry of slashes. Tenzin deals 2 damage and disables the targets buffs.
2nd Weave - Dance of the Leaves: Tenzin focuses his mind and focuses on dodging and countering attack like a leaf dancing on the wind. Any attack made against Tenzin has disadvantage and whenever an attack misses Tenzin he will counter with an attack dealing 2 damage.
3rd Weave - Streaming Sword (2 turn cooldown): Tenzin like a stream delivers a series of quick attacks against his opponent. Roll 5 separate attacks for Tenzin for each that hits add +1 damage. Due to the recklessness of the attack any attack made by the target of the attack has advantage.
4th Weave - Lament of the Sun: Tenzin attacks and prepares to counter the next attack his sword rising like the sun. Tenzin attacks dealing 2 damage and if the target of his attack attacks him he deals 1 damage with a quick stab.
5th Weave - Ballad of the Mountain (3 turn cooldown): Tenzin takes a strong stance like a mountain and delivers a powerful blow. Tenzin deals 3 damage and any attack made by the target has disadvantage
6th Weave - Warding Wave: Tenzin takes a defensive stance like a wave rising in the ocean. All attacks made against Tenzin has disadvantage and he takes -2 damage if hit.
7th Weave - Crimson Lotus (4 turn Cooldown): Tenzin delivers a single slash that weaves beyond most people's perception leaving a lotus like pattern of blood. Tenzin deals 5 damage to the target and has disadvantage on his next attack.
8th Weave - Shadow Strike: Whenever Tenzin feels overwhelmed he delivers a quick strike and retreats into the shadows to make a quick retreat. If the attack hits Tenzin deals 1 damage and is unable to be targeted by the target of his attack for his turn.
Counters:
Step Counter: With each step counter Tenzin's blade becomes more forceful with each attack making any attack he makes deal +1 damage per counter
Items:
Sword of Sealing: Tenzin’s sword is forged with a special metal that when defeating an opponent rather than killing them temporarily seals them into a weaker form
Weaknesses:
Loyal to a Fault: If any ally of Tenzin drops below half their damage threshold, Tenzin will enter a state of anger, losing the agile parry skill and the stillness of mind ability until the end of the combat scenario. He will also make sure he is the last person on the battlefield.
Easily Manipulated: Whenever someone makes an appeal to his empathy, (unless Loyal to a Fault has triggered against said person) Tenzin must make a willpower roll on a failure he will do everything in his power to assist the being outside harming his allies. He can also not make attacks against this being unless an ally is dropped below half their damage threshold by that being
