Dominic vs. Beguiling Boa

It all started with the fledgling swordsman finding a quest on the bulletin board of the local guild--one about a monster assaulting passersby on the main road into town, and...something about its penchant for young, virile men?

Dominic was drawn to it, somehow. Maybe it was the frayed edges of the parchment suggesting how it hadn't been turned in for a while, or maybe it was the sum of money offered, a bit more than what you'd expect from around these parts. Either way, it was interesting enough that he took it up to the front desk. The man serving him, a fit, seasoned-looking fellow, started to grin the moment his eyes fell on the tattered piece of paper in the adventurer's hands. It was kind of weird.

Eh, he's probably just relieved someone actually wanted to do this quest for once.

Figuring he's the perfect bait to capture this beast, Dominic wholeheartedly accepts the quest, writes his name down, chips a coin or two at the vendor, and goes on his way. He hears the man chuckle as he walks to the door, but he doesn't pay it much mind.

Little did he know, there was a reason to the man's amusement, and it might just be at his expense...

"Alright, this should be the place...all I have to do is sit, wait, and act natural."

In the middle of a shady, loamy grove that seemed perfect for a rest and a nice little picnic, Dominic looks askance at his beautiful surroundings and sighs. Usually, being out in the wild meant annoying bugs and stings that, while entirely tolerable for the adventurer, didn't mean that they weren't annoying. But here, there wasn't a mosquito, louse, or tick in sight--nothing but verdant treetops and bright green grass as far as the eye can see.

He decides to follow through on that earlier thought. Pulling out a piece of delicious, sweet, and magically-warm bread, he takes a bite into the tiny brown loaf and continues to enjoy the nature around him.

A while passes. He finishes his snack. The monster still doesn't come...but he finds he doesn't mind. All it means is he has more time to feel utterly at peace here...

Slowly, his eyelids droop.

"Mmh...maybe a nap would be nice, too..."

Dominic takes off his parka and uses it as a makeshift blanket. Slumping further against the tree he's leaning back on, he slides down until he feels the warm, dry grass against him. His eyes fully close, and for what feels like just a split second, the adventurer lets his guard down, and falls into a light, dreamless sleep...

...That is, until he feels something slither across his front.

"...Ugh...w-what the--?"

His eyes shoot wide open as the visage of a huge, brown serpent, with smooth scales in uneven, spotted patterns that shine even under the cover of the trees, laying right next to him in his slumber. Before he can attempt escape, though, its--her--strikingly puce eyes lock with his, lashes batting, paralyzing him with an incredibly seductive 'come hither' look. He can't look away, or move for that matter (though that's more his body betraying him than anything). The way her tail is tracing up and down his exposed chest certainly doesn't help...and the sight of her plump, soft, gleaming, marigold lips definitely isn't doing him any favors.

"Hmhmhm...come here often, handsome~?"

(Your choice on whether to start combat immediately, and whether or not you're pinned. These boa girls tend to be playful, and like to toy with their prey, so letting you escape for a second is pretty in-character. You also get the first strike.)

His eyes widened and his face reddened at the sight of this woman, especially those lips. He'd been confused as to why the guy he brought the request up to seemed so amused but now it was starting to set in. He tried his best to get his body to cooperate, to focus and get his power up.

Dominic scrambles to his feet, and immediately starts channeling his electricity throughout his body, standing his ground. The snake woman puts her tailtip to her mouth, and giggles girlishly. "Wow, did I really scare you that bad? But you were so happy to lay against me a moment ago...such a tease."

She doesn't look all that unhappy, though; if anything, she's grinning harder. "The name's Souci. And you are...?"

Souci: 30
Dominic: 30 (Infused)

He narrows his eyes curiously, keeping an eye out for anything she might try but for now electing to play nice. "...Dominic."

Alas, as much as Dominic kept himself vigilant, he didn't know just how quick a snake that large (or thick) could be; one second, his eyes are trained on her body, the next, it's looking directly into her bewitching eyes, and his body is pressed gently on all sides by a mass of cool, smooth flesh. He could already feel the tip of her tail winding its way up his undershirt again...

"Well well well! Nice to meet you, Dominic. It's been so long since I've seen a friendly face around here, so forgive me if I'm being a bit...forward~"

A cool, tingling feeling washes over him, the scaly skin massaging his body, loosing his muscles when they should've been tense...

Souci: 30

Unfortunately...he truly didn't notice what she was doing until it was too late, and he was wrapped up all nice and lovingly in her smooth coils, a gasp escaping as he tried his best to squirm against her, if he could just get his hand to his blade... "h-hey! Let go!!"
