The red skinned girl is the other self of the girl getting kissed.
She lost control on her, and so she loses control of her powers.
The kiss does...something to her...
(It's not clear, she starts getting visions and not wanting to leave the house, so I guess she has put has spell on her via kiss? Not sure)
