The intended effect of Mother's Blessing is to grant a chance to remove corruption stacks from fighters. 1 for a success, 2 for Crit, and none for failures.

Hmm... well, if you want something like that, Ferro's going to have to take a turn channelling his mother's some random witch he knows's power. May want to do that if/when more peeps are actually corrupted. And oh boy, I sure hope THAT doesn't crit fail.

That could actually be a good way to channel the passive. As an anchor for her magic, Ferro can release a wave of magic to counter potentially cancel out a bit of corruption from the party.

Besides, if the enemies could bring in NEW passives whenever they wanted, I'd hold them to the same rules.

How about this as a limiter. Whichever party Ferro is apart of will get their chance at having a corruption stack cleared. Though this would mean that the Gwen party would never get that benefit unless they switched to fighting Jennifer.
