Description: A natural born resident of Taiyang, chance brought her to the mainland and gave her a temporary cure to her greatest weakness, giving her a new lease on life. She grew to be exceptionally talented at manipulating her own chi at a young age, and her talents are what have kept her alive. Flirtatious, promiscuous and unpredictable, Ryofu is a mystery who does what she wants, when she wants it. A chance encounter with a certain rabbit brought her under IDOL’s wing, and she works as an operative for them now, serving as both an agent and, at times, caretaker for a few of them.
Passives:NoXLimitRyofu’s one joy in life was the fight, and she has been known to get very into it, regardless of her own body’s failings.
- Ryofu’s critical hit rate is naturally at moves higher than 75.
- In addition, the effects of a successful critical attack are changed from
Stun to
1.5x damage (rounded down, minimum of +1).
- However, every third critical hit does 3 damage to Ryofu, and the next attack launched after that extra damage acts at disadvantage.
Weaknesses:
SnakesDue to various traumatic incidents in her past (most of which she will not speak of if asked), snakes cause her to freeze up and raise her blood pressure instantly. If it was her choice, she’d prefer to not interact with snakes period, and especially not have to fight one.
- In a fight with a snake person of any kind, Ryofu’s
NoXLimit rises at 2 stacks per raise instead of just one, and she rolls at disadvantage when caught in binds.
Attacks:Thunder SlapRyofu’s hand whistles through the air crackling with Chi as it slaps the target with much more force than first impressions would give it, dazing the opponent both from the impact and the sizzling energy.
- Deals 1 damage.
- Has a chance to
stun the target.
Flash StrikeRyofu’s strongest hits come from her legs, having trained them to hit hard enough to bend steel. She rushes forward to deliver rapid kicks that launch the target up into the air, one after the other in quick succession.
- Deals 1 damage per hit.
- Rolls multiple times at once, starting at 2 hits and increasing by 1 per each stack of
NoXLimit.
Snap KickCrouching down low, Ryofu’s body surges forward at a low angle before having her entire body snap around, bringing her leg directly into the target at a hard to react to position. While different from her normal approach, Ryofu is starting to branch out into more diversionary abilities that use her natural aptitude for Ki.
- Deals 1 damage.
- This attack always acts at advantage.
- At two stacks of
NoXLimit, this move skips the roll entirely.
Lightning GripRyofu slams the target to the ground, bringing her two legs around the target's neck as she brings them to a choke hold, the Chi in her body transferring to her thighs to the target, bringing with it a slight numbing sensation.
- Deals 2 damage.
- Inflicts
Bind.
Deep BreathingCatching her breath, Ryofu calms her internal core, keeping her breathing to a gentle pulse and feeling the air flow through her lungs, relaxing her in a tight situation.
- A successful roll will remove all stacks currently on
NoXLimit.
- A critical will restore 1 HP from Ryofu, as well.
Close PulseQuickly closing the distance, Ryofu delivers a fierce one-inch punch to the target’s chest, an impact strong enough that it can be heard as well as seen.
- Deals 3 damage.
- Can only be used if she has at least one stack of
NoXLimit, but a critical will trigger the full effects, regardless of the level.
Shock TherapyChanneling her energy into the tips of her fingers, Ryofu delivers a series of quick jabs to pressure points onto a target’s body part of her choice.
- Deals 2 damage.
- Has a chance of
sealing off a target’s body part for two turns, causing any attacks that use them to be at disadvantage for the duration.
White Wolf StrikeRyofu manifests her Chi in a physical form, that being a jade sphere that she hurls at the target with incredible speed, which explodes on contact.
- Deals 3 damage.
- A miss will raise
NoXLimit’s tally one stack, critical or not.
Empty SplitRyofu forces her palms to glow brighter with Chi, before slamming her hand into the ground and creating a shockwave of her own energy.
- Deals 3 damage.
- Inflicts
Knockback, preventing the foe from using close range attacks against Ryofu on their next turn.
- Ryofu is unable to do any attacks that use her hands on her next turn.
Cross CounterBeing one of the few people that can match Ryofu’s speed (and being someone she trusts enough to keep up without worry), Ryofu and Dixi strike with an outstretched kick at the same time from two opposing angles aimed for the head, catching the target in a fierce cross counter.
- Deals 3 damage.
- A hit will cause a guaranteed
stun.
- If the move misses, Dixi’s attack is not canceled out.
Ripping GaleBoth Ryofu and Dixi are skilled users of Ki, but their applications are vastly different, yet compatible with one another. While Dixi uses her Ki to whip up a fierce tornado, Ryofu plunges her hands into it and sends her own Ki through the gale, electrifying the current and sweeping up any that were unable to move out of the way in time.
- Inflicts
Independent Bind on all foes.
- First struggle is rolled with
Disadvantage.
- Deals 1 point of damage per turn at all foes that are affected by it.
- Applies a stack of
Windburn per turn, which deals an additional point of damage per stack up to 3 until they free themselves from the tornado.
Enchanting AllureRyofu loves Dixi with all of her heart, but deep down she’s scared of losing her to someone that can make themselves more appealing. If she notices someone trying to mess with Dixi’s mind, be it through magic or just old fashioned wiles, Ryofu pulls Dixi close and brings her into a deep, overwhelming kiss that leaves much more than just a lasting impression, keeping all her thoughts focused on her.
- Deals 1 damage to Dixi.
- Removes any
Charm effects focused on Dixi, and frees her from any
Fascination or
Hypnosis holds.
- Inflicts Dixi with
Focused Charm, preventing Dixi from being afflicted with
Charm,
Fascination or
Hypnosis effects, for 4 turns.
- If Ryofu uses a charm-based attack on Dixi while
Focused Charm is in effect, Ryofu’s move acts at advantage.
