BBCode and HTML don't work

the url tag seems to work alright, but img and video won't show up. Video shows up in the preview but not the post itself, while image doesn't show up at all regardless of whether you use html or the bbcode. They say they're "ON' in the little box beneath the Emoticons and I know they're checked in the Admin Panel but still nothing.

Does anyone think they might have a solution or should I just play around with it a little more?
