Background: Standing at around 6'2", with curly black hair and an athletic build, Gary is a man who has trained in the art of combat from a very young age. Raised by his grandfather, a renowned monster hunter of his time, he was taught everything from focusing his mind, to controlling his body. In a fair fight, Gary is capable of holding his own, and has learned to push such things as pain to the recesses of his mind. Unfortunately for him, the midara do not fight 'fair'. When it comes to the 'worldly pleasures', Gary is inexperienced and naive. Will Gary survive long enough to learn how to handle the midara's 'special brand' of fighting? Or will he find himself enthralled by the new world that has opened up to him?
Passive(s):
- Grapple Reversal: Whenever Gary successfully escapes from a bind effect, he deals 1 stamina damage to his former binder.
Basic Attack(s):
- Strike: A single blow struck against his opponent. If successful, it deals 2 stamina damage.
Special Move(s):
- Flying Kick: A flashy move, with a potential risk. If successful, it deals 4 stamina damage. However, if it fails to land, Gary also fails to land and is floored. Usable once every 3 turns.
- Shoulder Bash: Gary charges towards his opponent, shoulder first, putting his whole body weight behind him. If successful, it deals 3 stamina damage. Usable once every 4 turns.
- Stunning Fist: Gary strikes his fist in the right place at the right time. If successful, it deals 2 stamina damage, and stuns his opponent. Usable once every 4 turns.
- Mind Over Body: Gary takes a deep breath, closes his eyes and tries to re-centre himself. Recover 5 willpower, but the opponent's next attack is a guaranteed hit, unless it is a critical fail. Usable once every 6 turns.
- Pummelling Display: Gary goes all out, hoping to take out his opponent in a blaze of glory. Deals 2-4 willpower damage to himself, then roll. If successful, it deals 2x the amount of willpower damage Gary took in attempting this attack. Only usable when Gary is on half willpower, or less. Usable once per battle.
