Mysteries of Daraku III

"JENNIFER!" Dixi called her opponent with clear anger in her voice, "I'll crush you without mercy." With that said Dixi rushes forward aiming to finish her opponent before she could hurt the other more.

(Dark Flash)

Liselle's form slightly gets splattered from the war hammer though the scythe was a bit far from hitting her. From the corner of her eyes she sees Gweniviere starting to work her magic on Robin. Unfortunate she was being blocked by Gwen's goon. She has a solution to that though. Jumping forward briefly, she suddenly vanishes, moving faster than normal perception can see before suddenly a rain of strikes rains upon them from where she passes by the and the attack continues past, bypassing Gwenivere before she too is getting bombarded by attacks from Jennifer-Liselle. Each impact of blow proceeded with a resounding ringing that is almost deafening.

While this is taking place, the place she got smashed is starting to regenerate, slowly undoing the damage from the hammer wielder. Not that physical attack does much.

Flurry of Blows- 3 attacks 2 damage each with ???? sound based additional effect. (will let you determine this Simply)

Passive- Regenerate 0.5 per turn.


Yumi backs up from the fight. The call of Daraku was edging too close to her liking and what is left of her will is telling her to disengage from Jennifer before the corruption overwhelms her and she falls to Daraku. Meanwhile she can try to aid someone not directly fighting Jennifer. Spotting Vulcan binding one that Jennifer's minions, she speeds forward to try to help the masked hero. Almost disappearing, the seductress finds that bokken strikes were coming from an unknown assailant as Yumi's form become blurred.

Passive activated on target with status ailment- Crit range increase to 70-100 until not attacking enemy with status ailment.
Swan Dive- Deal 3 damage and requires 2 successful rolls to be hit.

The seductress cried out in pain as the blow struck her, scorching her in the face.

Even in his distracted state, Robin's fire manages to blast out, slamming into the warhammer wielder.

(Barchiel - Flamer - 91)
Unfortunately for Barchiel, the spell mixed in with Barchiel's flamer, making it difficult for Barchiel to aim the fire, due to all the other fire.

(Prowd - 1 2 3 Slice - 11 CRIT)
Prowd charges in towards the Seductress approaching Yumi, and tries to slice. Unfortunately, his is redirected by the Seductress, and ends up slashing against Ferro, as he's just picking up his staff. Ferro is protected from most of the blow, but does take a small amount of damage through Ix's protective aura.

(Glen - Invisible Slit - 84, 78 STUN)
Glen dashes into the scythe wielder's range, knocking the scythe wielder to the ground, stunned and unable to move.

(Dixi - Dark Flash - 5 CRIT)
Dixi charged forwards towards Jennifer, just as Jennifer blinked out of existance. The ensuing power wave continues on, striking Ferro right in his center of mass.

(Damn RNG crits! Poor Ferro is taking a beating! In case it wasn't clear, I'm RNG'ing the targets too. Well, makes a change from Yumi, I guess xD)

Liselle strikes out against Gwen's followers, the fearsome blows raining down upon them, forcing them back, and slightly dazing them.

Yumi managed to take the bound seductress completely by surprise, knocking her bokken directly against the, already pained, seductress.

(Gwen - Depraved Desires - 14)
Seeing Robin waver, and his unwillingness to break free from her embrace, made Gwen smile. She licked her lips. He clearly still had some will to fight, given his willingness to strike her allies, but that would change soon enough.
"Good little bird. Now, let's have some fun, shall we?" She said, as she moved in to kiss him, her tongue loving caressing his, as his mind filled with the thoughts of what she would do. These were much more targetted than her previous mental assault, as she had now gaged precisely what he reacted best to.

The warhammer wielder managed to get his strike in to connect, but without the scythe wielder's assistance, he is unable to damage her. And part of her seems to repair herself.

Today was just not her day. She'd been ignored by the staff wielder, in favour of Jennifer, which was fair enough. Jennifer was amazing, after all. But the dancer had explicitly moved away from her to target her already downed partner! Did they just not like her, or something? Was there something on her face? And, to top it all of, her boss seemed to be in trouble. Well, at least there was only one of them focused on her now.
"Hey! Angry girl! Over here!" She yelled, with a smile, as she flashed her amazing goods to her.

For as bad as her partner's day may have been, she could definitely say hers were worse. Clearly, she'd messed with the wrong group, for as difficult as it had been for the masked hero to attack her before, now it seemed that there was no end to the assault. In fact, she could have sworn she was now being attacked by two masked people. She finally managed to fling the hero off of her, as she got to her feet, and tried to evaluate the situation.

Jennifer felt that enough was enough. She knew she wasn't long for the fight, but she had to do something fast, or not only would she go down, but Gwen with her. She needed to use the big guns. She wasn't going to win by brute force alone. For now, she needed to focus on corrupting her enemies, in the hopes that Gwen could capitalise on it. Or, if not, at the very least Zara would. She teleported across the room, seemingly popping out of nowhere to deliver a swift spinning kick to everyone. Some connected, some did not. Prowd in particular was knocked to the ground with the blow dealt to him.

Ferro got the wind knocked out of him from Dixi's attack and groaned. "Nope, not having this..." He took a moment to recover before making an effort to, well, recover.

Vulcan, meanwhile, wasn't going to allow the woman to escape, running in and raising her leg for a dropkick.

Robin's eyes started to close slightly at Gwen's kiss. His body went completely still, before slowly melting under her touch. He wanted to give in, so badly...So he did nothing.

Barchiel, on the other hand, was charging towards Gwen. Rearing back, he launched forward with a Power Fist. "ASSUME THE POSITION, YOU PROMISCIOUS HERETICAL LITTLE-"

Prowd try to recover his breath and get up for continue the fight "Dammit" he curse under his breath while trying to regain his balance

Glen see the seductress and make an angry face for what she did "you bastard" he go quickly toward the seducctress traying to make her pay with a cross dagger attack making a wound in her abdomen

Cross daggers

She barely avoided Jennifer's strike but did get smacked by the hammer once more. Sadly for him, it seems to do very little against her. The attack from the third seat is very impressive even from Liselle's point of view and she has seen a lot. However, Jennifer made one very crucial mistake. Performing it while she can see it. It is time to test how far her mimicry can go. She only says one thing that pretty much sums up. "My turn..."

She touches down on the ground in a race-like position before she sprinted forward and then suddenly disappear from where she was sprinting. The whole room is suddenly filled with a red blur as Liselle moves faster than she has ever done so before. Each participating member of Daraku sees a bit blip before a slimy kick is launched at them, using the momentum of her speed to bounce to each Daraku member within the room before ending where she was before she inititated Jennifer's attack.

Abundant Slime- Deals 2 damage to each enemy, add 1 slime stack, and gives them disadvantage on their next action.


Yumi gets smashed aside, becoming more fatigued both physicall and mentally from Jennifer's attack that she was close to falling. However a sudden force lifted her and squeezes her, causing her to squeeze. Thankfully the force subsides...that was unusual. That and the voice of Daraku is slightly lessened. She doubles back her step while her velocity is at such a level that she seems rather hazy and makes it hard to strike before launching a pain of bokken strikes at Jennifer's knees hoping to rreduce her mobility enough that the other can finish the job.

Summer Shine- Deals 2 damage. 1/3 chance to inflict flatfooted for 3 turns.
Flatfooted- Target can be hit by 1/2 successful roll.

"Damn it... Sorry Ferro let's try what we planned!" Dixi rushes once again against Jennifer expecting her team combo to hit.

(Vortex Thrust)

(I'm actually scare to use my most powerfull attacks, I don't want to KO Yumi by accident ;-; )

Sierra is finally able to follow through the fight once more with all of the chaos and it seems that a huge wave of attack has Jennifer buckle down to her last fight especially with a rather enraged Dixi taking much of the fight out. Though she is performing her strongest move to try to weaken as many as possible. Her eyes widen as she suddenly sees a 'red' Jennifer suddenly attacking the seats and their subordinates. Was that Liselle?! She then takes a glance over to where Lady Collbard is and see she is seducing Robin. Where was she for a while, it seem she disappeared for a good amount of time.

Up above the fight, sat upon one of the supporting beams of the ceiling sat a small girl, playfully kicking her legs over the side of the beam. She seemed to be perfectly at ease, and watching with a mix of childish wonder, and astonishment at the fight below. It was unclear where she came from, as she had definitely not been there when the fight had begun, and there was no clear way for her to have gotten there either. She waved at the floating doll that was not too far from her.

Dixi felt a pulse of powerful dark energy blasting out of her, though not from her gauntlets. It was a strange sensation, as it didn't come with the usual feeling of expending her own power, and was especially strange given that it didn't seem particularly well directed towards anything either.

As Ferro concentrated on his recovery, his staff suddenly flaired with power. Had it remained enchanted this whole time? That seemed unlikely, but there was no denying that it was definitely enchanted now.

Unforunately, having escaped her grip, the seductress was no going to be caught again so easily. She had a handle on Vulcan's speed now, and she wasn't about to let her get the drop on her again.

Gwen may have had Robin's complete attention, but that did not mean that he had hers. Gwen easily moved aside from the space marine's fist.

Glen charged forwards towards the seductress, but dashing from one side of the fight to the other was starting to take its toll on him. He wasn't able to make it in time.

Liselle managed to land a blow on almost every enemy in the place, the only one who managed to avoid it was the seemingly incredibly alert seductress.

Yumi's strike was half a second too slow to hit Jennifer which, given Jennifer's speed, may as well have been half a century.

Dixi charged forwards Jennifer, elbowing her right into the path of Ferro who... currently had his eyes closed as he concentrated on his katas. Fortunately, Jennifer didn't go slamming into him. However, Jennifer did not return to her feet upon landing.

Without even lowering her clothes, she turned her form to face Ferro. Unfortunately, a well place piece of slime shielded Ferro from gazing upon her 'goods'.

The seductress giggled as ever attack failed to hit her. She was beginning to think she was invincible. Jennifer wasn't looking to good. Perhaps she could take her Seat, if things continued this way.
"I'm sorry, sweetheart, but I'd like to be on top this time." The seductress commented, as she leaned in, deeply kissing the masked hero.

Gwen was annoyed by the slime's interference. She'd had it up to here with her. And it was clear that she outclassed her subordinates. But then again, perhaps her new... pet could deal with her. She broke off the kiss, with a satisfied moan. She then blows him a kiss, at point blank range, as a pair of lips floats slowly towards him, edging closer, inch by inch, before landing on his heart.
"I'm afraid we have to cut out dance a little short, little bird." Gweniverre pouted. "The slime keeps getting in the way. Could you please be a dear, and help me deal with her? I promise you'll be rewarded..." She gave him a devilish grin.

Ferro made an immediate rush towards the woman making out with Black Vulcan, leaping in to slam his staff against her head. Especially important since Vulcan seemed like she was...starting to enjoy it.

"That's one... Now..." Dixi turned to face her mother sitting on her chair but as soon as she started to walk towards her Ix stopped her "No, not yet, we have to help the others!" Dixi looked at the second seat who seemed to have gained control over her side of the battle.

"Can I join now? I learned a few interesting tricks from your fight with Jennifer..." said Xana who had been peacefully watching the fight of her sister against Jennifer twice, "Fine, your turn, use their weapons against them sis!"

While starting to dash around the room, Xana noticed the presence of a little girl up high in the ceiling, her aura is strange like there is more than what she allows to see, but she decides to ignore her for now.

Robin felt upset as the kiss ended, before a new feeling welled up within him...Yes. Liselle was trying to get in their way....Trying to stop him from being happy...! He looked at Gwen, nodding. "Of course, my dear...Anything for you." Pointing his hand at Liselle, dark tendrils shot out, intent on draining her.

(Nosferatu. 2/4 Durability remaining.)

Barchiel glared in pure unadulterated rage. This demon charmed their tactician...She'd pay! He charged forward, preparing his Chainsword to strike down Gwen.

Again the hammer strike hits true again. Though it is mostly chipping away at her mostly, she is starting to lose this form that is doing so much to wreck havoc on Daraku and the new method of utilizing her slime similar...no better than Daraku's corruption is start to work as it is starting to sludge and slow them or make things more difficult. Now that Jennifer is down she can foc- oh goop! Robin has been momentarily taken over! Not on her watch. She tries to power through the melee attacks from Gwenivere's goons and Robin's giant drinking strawNosferatu to swipe at the enchantment on the tactician before she briefly disappears. All of a sudden Gwenivere and her cohort is under assault from another barrage of slime attacks before she flickers into view again before yelling out to Robin to wake up "Robin, get a hold of yourself! Think of the others, think of your home! Do you want them to believe that you have died?"

Flurry of Blows- Attack 3 times. Deal 2 damage and adds 1 slime stack.


Yumi hisses as she missed her attack. However she was greatly relieve as a sudden blur of red that is Liselle strikes Jennifer before Dixi lands the final blow that knocks out the close-range specialist. Now she can try to assist other, though she would rather not try against Gwenivere right now considering that she is trouble focusing. Seeing Vulcan being enticed one of Jennifer's seductress, she comes to her aid before lashing her bokken at the seductress's mid section.

Fall grace
Deal 2 stamina damage. 1/3 chance to inflict daze for 3 turns. Disables Fall Grace for 1 turn. Daze- Causes disadvantage.
Dancer of the East(Passive): Target have a 10% chance of skipping their turn due to being distracted by her dance.

Due to being outside of the battle, Sierra (and Spring Rose) was probably the first to see the child up in the pillars. When did she get there? Drawing energy from herself into her scanner, she tries to see if she can get any information about her. From the child's position and odd demeanor, the crafter felt something is a bit off.

Spring Rose waved in return though mostly from Sierra's direct instrument before returning to do whatever Spring Rose is doing.

Glen start to feel angry and only focus on that seductress trying to hit her with a spinning strike sending outwards daggers toward the seductress "Geez, just die stupid seductress!!!" he shout while spinning trying to pierce the seductress and make her bleed

Prowd just continue trying to get up and recover from the stun "Damm it..Damm daraku, Damm zara, and Damm this stupid seats!"

The little girl starts to laugh as Spring Rose waves back at her, seemingly very pleased to have gotten a reaction. As Sierra examines the child, she notices... absolutely nothing. Not "nothing interesting", like the crowds of people were displaying. "Nothing real" like the illusionary band had been showing. Or even "a void of energy" as Jennifer had been displaying. But the scanners weren't able to detect anything at all. The scanner just didn't seem to be working on her.

Ferro's strike hits true, dealing massive damage to the seductress. A loud crack it heard as the enchanted staff hits her right in the skull. Despite this, she continues to hold the kiss, which is being lovingly enjoyed by both of them.

Xana began porting around the room with great speed, but as she ported behind the Seductress, Yumi dashed forwards, intent on attacking, and Xana unforunately collided with her. To make matters worse, during her next attack, who's target was Gwen, Robin dived in the way of it, taking the blow for her. In fact, the only target she managed to hit that she wanted to hit was the scythe wielder.

Something in Liselle's words seemed to make the tactician hesitate, causing his spell to go slightly off target. Though the doubt was quickly gone as he looked upon Gwen. It was natural that he'd serve Gweniverre. She'd always been there for him. She was, after all, the one who saved him from death when he had tried to sacrifice himself to stop Grima.

(Barchiel - Chainsword - 39)
Barchiel was, unfortunately, met with a look of rage from Gweniverre, causing the space marine to freeze.
"You, who helped take away my angel, would dare approach me?" Gweniverre's voice rang out in his mind. Her gaze swept across the room, her eyes locking with each of those involved in the fight against Lasciel, as if deciding who to target next.

(Liselle - Flurry of Slimes - 52, 99, 71)
Liselle managed to land a hit against Gweniverre, and the warhammer wielder, her slime on the latter really starting to build up.

(Yumi - Fall Grace - Disadvantage from AS: 77, 51)
Yumi moved in to take a strike against the seductress, but the unexpected blow from Xana knocked her off balance, and forced her to spend a little time to recover.

Glen was having some difficulty with the other seductress, as she took a page out of her colleague's book, and began to dodge just about everything.

"Such passion. It's such a shame it's misplaced. But I'm sure we can fix that." The seductress responded, in a breathy voice, as she approached the assassin, and began to gently kiss him on the lips.

(S2 - Gentle Kiss - 32)
Despite the painful blow to her head, she was rather enjoying the kiss with the hero, who was clearly falling for her. She'd made someone fall for her this soon in the fight! She was definitely getting a Seat out of this. Things were looking up, aside from the excruciating headache.

Her eyes lock onto Ixana. She hadn't had her fill of getting revenge on her. Plus, she was the easiest target.
"You took away something that I loved! Now, let's see how you like it!" yelled Gweniverre's voice in her mind. She blew a kiss that seemed to be aimed for Xana, but flew right past her, instead directly hitting Yumi. A malicious grin on her face when it hit. "Ah! Yumi! Are you okay? She didn't hurt you did she?" She called out, feigning fear in her voice. "She's dangerous. Please, help me take her out!" She then turned to Robin. "You keep concentrating on that slime. She has to wear out soon!"

The scythe wielder finally managed to recover from the stun, and tried to figure out who she was meant to be aiming for, only to get stunned again by Xana materialising and smacking her back down.

Unlike the warhammer wielder, who knew exactly who he was aiming for. The slime right in front of him. But, the slime that had surrounded his body was finally hindering his movements, causing him to be unable to bring the warhammer down with any force, making it just bounce of Liselle.

(Just realised I'd been screwing up with these. Was meant to be a 10% chance, not a 50% chance, but I'm not going to bother going back to correct all the old stuff, as I've been doing it for 2 turns now, so just gonna be 10% from this turn onwards)

An attack?! Robin jumped in the way, grunting in pain as it hit him....The slime's words...They were...Wrong...Gwen had cared for him, right? She would never lie to him. At her words, he gripped his tome, focusing on it to try and charge.

Barchiel chuckled under his helmet, looking at Gwen. "Yeah. I did. If you have a problem, then come and fight me, you pathetic whorespawn of Chaos." Cue another Chainsword swing.

"YUMI!" Dixi yelled, Xana didn't seemed too happy about it either... in fact she was getting pretty angry herself her hair started to shift colors, she looked at Gwen and pointed her "I'll make sure you pay for that... NO ONE PLAYS WITH MY SISTER'S FEELINGS." The hammer just glances off of her this time as the gunk is starting to take effect as she wanted. However, she pauses for a moment to shake her head trying to clear out the fog that is invading in as even her resistant-mind is taking a toll. Instinctively she goes for another barrage as it seems to be a reliable move despite her current mental condition. More disappearing and more barrages against Gwenivere, the scythe and the warhammer, though she is less coordinated this time around.

Similarly, Ferro felt a familiar energy to the one in his staff flow through him, but it appeared to do little either.

Zara was watching the fight with a level of pleased amusement. She was enjoying the scene, and Gwen sure did know how to put on a show. There was a reason Gweniverre was her right hand woman. Either she had not noticed, or was paying no attention, to the young girl on the ceiling beam, who was still happily swinging her legs around. The dark energy seemed to pass right by her, but the blast seemed to go right past her. It was difficult to tell from the angle, and the speed of the blast, but it wasn't clear if she'd avoided it, it had missed her, or it had passed through her. In whatever case, the girl didn't even flinch as it came at her.

Xana's anger, and Dixi's pain, seemed to be distracting her from casting her rune correctly. In fact, she seemed to only make matters worse for Liselle, who's mind fogged up a little more from the stunning effects of the Haze, making it even harder for her to think clearly.

With that Xana creates a light rune, said rune emanates a really strong aura, then the rune vanishes and six swords made of pure light appears behind Xana "Light rune: Swords of Shining Veredict!" with a gesture from her hand Xana commands the swords to strike on Gwen one after another.
