Griffin vs. Amore Manor

Griffin had to take a very quick two seconds to shout to the heavens a very loud, very brief "FINALLY!!!" With that out of the way, he sent Cheshire in to show her terrors that would finally do some damage for once.

Daphne began to toss and turn in her sleep as her dreams became poisoned.



Griffin: 23 Willpower + Cheshire
Daphne: 29 Stamina + Mandrake + Sleep+ Nightmare

With her out like a light, he took the time to try and prepare his next move, gathering power for some stronger magic. "Whatever it is I hit you with, I hope it's not too bad..."

Griffin focused his power while Daphne continued her unpeaceful sleep.



Griffin: 23 Willpower + Cheshire
Daphne: 28 Stamina + Mandrake + Sleep + Nightmare

"Alright, time to start doling out more damage," he sighed, readying another blast of psionic energy to take full advantage of her sleep.

(Wake Up -roll 37- Fail!)

The sleeping woman moaned in pain as the mental attack struck her.

Daphne: 24 Stamina + Mandrake + Sleep + Nightmare

For now, he didn't want to hurt her too bad, so he just sat by Daphne and proceeded to lightly whap her in the arm with the handle of his knife.

Griffin tried to his the sleeping girl but all the tossing in her sleep she was doing was making that surprisingly difficult.

Griffin continued to try and whittle her stamina down while she was asleep, trying to smack her in the arm with the blunt handle of his knife. "Come on, even when she's asleep I can't get too many hits off."

Before he could hit her, Daphne's eyes shot open and she quickly got up.

"What did you do?" the tanned woman asked as she tried to catch her breath.


Griffin: 23 Willpower + Cheshire
Daphne: 23 Stamina + Mandrake

"Cheshire put you to sleep and gave you a nightmare. It doesn't do much damage at first, but it can really stack if his target doesn't wake up quickly." He sat back, putting his knife away before looking Daphne's way and asking, "Was it really bad?"

"No, but it wasn't exactly pleasant." Daphne replied.

Daphne: 23 Stamina + Mandrake

"Sorry about that. It's just... really effective in battle." He got back to his feet and offered a hand to help her up.

"It's fine." Daphne said as she took his hand. "Ready to continue?"

"Yeah, I'm ready." He took a few paces back and readied Cheshire again, his knife shimmering with that faint, lavender aura.

The glowing knife lightly cut her, and made her flub her attempt at her spell.

"Gah, does it always hurt this much when you mess up?" Daphne asked as she rubbed her head.

Daphne: 20 Stamina + Mandrake

"With psychic attacks like that, yeah, that's pretty par for the course." He attempted to strike her with confusion himself, to prepare for the follow-up. And he secretly kiiiiiinda wanted to see what she'd say this time too.

"Stick to physical attacks, got it." Daphne replied as his spell fail to effect her and she hand Mandrake tackle him again.

"Alright, two can play at that game then!" He sent out Cheshire to nom on Daphne with its fangs.

The cat was intercepted by the plant child, who slammed it into the floor.

Daphne: 20 Stamina + Mandrake

"How have you already gotten so good at handling a Persona?" He had made a loud gasp when he saw his Persona be slammed into the floor. He didn't even think that was possible.

"You might have spoken a bit too soon." Daphne said as she was hit by a sudden headache.

Daphne: 19 Stamina + Mandrake

"Well, we'll see, I guess..." He readied his next Psychic Cut, planning to swap Personas whether this next attack hit or not.

Griffin swung his weapon, but Daphne managed to back out of his range.

He was starting to think this fight funny with how back and forth it had become, how even it was. "Well that didn't work, so let's change things up a bit. Alraune!" He summoned his flowery wind tamer to his side, ready to bring on just a bit more pain.
