Charlie vs Amore Manor

Charlie arrived at a large pink manor. She had heard rumors about the numerous adventurers who tried to best this place only to lose to the midara within. The wild mage could feel that the air here was thick with magic.

Before her were two paths: one led into the manor proper, while the other led into an overgrown jungle that could be generously called a garden.


Charlie: 30 Willpower

Feeling confident in her strange luck and magic Charlie decides to try the front door but maintaining her manners knocks on the door first "hello is anyone there?"

The door opened all by itself. Charlie poked her head in and saw a huge entrance chamber. A large heart shaped rug laid in the middle of the room. Each 'bump' of the heart laid at the bottom of a flight of stairs that led to the upper floor. In between the stairwells was a small door that blended into the wall. If not for light seeping through the cracks, it would have been completely unnoticed

On the left and right side of the rooms were hallways. The archway for the left hall had a lip pattern on the floor beneath it, while a bit of mistletoe from the right entrance to the right hall. Occasionally, a pair of lips float from one hallway to the other.


Charlie: 30 Willpower

Charlie looks around the room amazed before looking In the direction of the floating lips and following them hoping to find whoever created them. "Maybe following these will result in me learning new magic."

Charlie rushed after the lips, but lost sight of them when they rounded a corner.

Charlie sighs and continues searching for the lips curious of where they could've disappeared to.

As Charlie continued her search, she spotted a large portrait on the wall. There were four beautiful woman staring back at her. One was a young woman with long flowing pale white hair, pale pink eyes, porcelain white skin, and pale pink lips.

Another was a shapely young woman of fair skin. She had shoulder length silver hair and icy blue eyes. Her lips were coated with a toxic purple lipstick.

The third woman had a modest figure, green hair and matching eyes, and tanned skin.

And the eldest, and the most beautiful in the picture, was a tall, elegant woman with a slender hourglass figure. She had silver hair, captivating blue eyes and flawless skin.


Charlie found it hard to look away from the painting of these four.

Charlie blushes slightly from the silver haired woman before she tries to look away as her mind told her to remember why she was here.

"It's a lovely portrait, isn't it?" a woman's voice said, which snapped Charlie out of her trance.

Charlie turned her head to see a woman clad in a black corset with white trimming that drew the eye to her impressive figure, a matching black skirt with white frills, black stockings and garterbelts, high-heels, and a black maid headdress.

French Maid: 5 Stamina

Charlie looks at the mage embarrassed "oh yeah um very beautiful miss. Would you please tell me who they are?" Charlie runs her head trying to look natural as she reaches for her staff just in case

"Of course." the woman said before she planted a kiss on Charlie's cheek. "That is Lady Amore and her three daughter: Sanya, Bunda, and Daphne."

French Maid: 5 Stamina

Charlie blushes and realizes she most likely shouldn't trust everyone as she swings her staff to create a wind attack. "Thank you for the information and I'm sorry in advance!"

The woman let out a surprised yelp as the sudden wind attack knocked her clear off of her feet.


Charlie: 28 Willpower
French Maid: 5 Stamina

Charlie spins her staff and holds it towards her trying to be intimidating. "Please surrender or I will have to get serious ma'am."
(Turn pass)

"O-Of course, Mistress." the woman said as she slowly got back to her feet and then bowed deeply to Charlie.


(French Maid has surrendered!)

Charlie smiles putting her weapon away before looking to the woman "before you go can you tell me more about the amore family?"

"What would you like to know?" The maid asked as she kept her head bowed submissively.

Charlie looks at the picture. "How would you rank them if you were to take them on in a battle? Also where can I find them?"

The maid shook her head. "A mere maid such as I is severely outclassed by all of them. Even if I were to fight any of them, it would be far too one sided to form any kind of ranking. All I can saw is that in regards to that matter is that Lady Amore is the strongest of all."

She then raised her head and looked at Charlie with a smile. "As to where to find them. The youngest, Sanya, is usually asleep in her room upstairs. Bunda, the middle daughter, is usually tinkering with things in the basement. The oldest daughter, Daphne, is usually out tending to the garden. Lady Amore tends to stick to this floor, but is usually accompanied by her pets."

The maid then bowed again. "Is there anything else?"

Charlie thinks before looking at her "no ma'am thank you for the information and I'm sorry for hitting your with the wind hope i didnt hurt you."

"It was no problem, Mistress." the maid said with one last bow before she took off down the hallway and left Charlie alone.

Charlie thinks before nodding to herself and walking towards the main area "I think I'll challenge miss bunda first she might be a good middle ground to begin testing myself!"

Charlie managed to make her way back to the entrance without anything interesting happening.
