Forest of Fairy (Gwen, Selene, Jonas, and Test)

Selene tilted her head but smiled "sounds so kind of them! i'll go and see what they have!" she said excitedly as she fluttered outside slightly fast but still slow enough her friends could catch up with her

"While we appreciate the gesture there really is no need for such a thing. It's all in a day's work." Test assured the innkeeper.

"We should check it out, if they're already working so hard on it. It might be helpful." Jonas said. He wouldn't have asked the villagers for anything either, but if they would insist...

Gwen left the room with her dress cleaned and shortened to be more practical, but it was still somewhat tattered and she could use a new one if she had the time to make it, but now she had to follow her group, in other words, she didn't have the time to do that.

Patting her dress to clean herself up, Gwen said: "Yes, that'll have to do."

The group rushed to catch up with Selene, who they found talking to a middle-aged woman.

"Yeah, you go deary." the villager said as she handed Selene three small bags. "These cookies are apparently a favorite of the fairies, since they always sneak into town and try to swipe some whenever we make them."

Gained 3 Bags of Fairy Cookies! These can either be used by Selene to give her Attack Up and Defense Up for 3 turns, or used to bribe Fairies in the forest!

"Alright, back into the forest with us, it seems." Jonas said. They had somewhat of a path cleared to the ruins, now, to finish what they started.

Selene squeaks excitedly from the cookies already looking hungrily at them but knowing a sugar rush wouldn't help the others as she politely bows to the villager and thanks her "Sounds good, im sure there are more children to save!"

Gwen bowed in respect for the elderly woman's help. "We'll save them all, I promise this much." She said, reassuring both herself and the mothers.

"Let's go." Test agreed. Equally determined to go find the rest of the children.

The group headed back to the forest and almost immediately were stopped by a familiar sight.

"Back for more fun?" The Alraune who had her way with the party teased. Her flower still planted in their path and now glittering with dewdrops in the morning sun.

Jonas nodded in agreement with Gwen and chucked his trusty Boomerang. Well... he could always make another if he lost it, but every Boomerang he made was trusty.

Selene shrugged as she saw her teammates all attack as she aimed her staff at the alruane and shot a big ball of water at the woman

Selene looked to her and laughed "Sorry, you don't really have a chance to beat us~ if you surrender nicely and move your flower we'll let you run~" she said hoping she could be a little merciful

ugh... midara. Gwen was willing to stop her assault for the sake of her friend's bargain, despite her qualms with rapey midara, but the magical doll wasn't willing to stop for any longer then the bargain.

"You attacked us last time we came by. How did you expect us to react?" Test asked, backing off long enough to give Selene a chance to deescalate things.

Jonas remembered the last time they let a midara bombard them with kisses. He didn't necessarily distrust the Alraune, he just distrusted how well he'd be able to endure a kiss.

Selene sighed "how about only a couple of us" she said willing to take a single kiss since she could just eat her new cookie to focus, fluttering above her flower "After this you let us pass and move to a new area so the villagers feel safe okay?"

"No, you can kiss my scissors if you want." Gwen noted, holding her scissors like one would hold a minigun and then snapping her scissors menacingly. "I won't let you violate anybody here."
