(I'm so goddamn glad I thought of this acronym)
The Midara Wrestling Alliance (M.W.A.) maintains an arena where their glamorous
Divas and up-and-coming stars alike can face each other at a neutral site with thousands of fans can watch. Not only that, but the Divas almost always bring their prey to this arena to display their prowess and promote themselves in the M.W.A.
However, even if travelers and adventurers do not find themselves in a match, they cannot be considered safe. The arena is full of all types of midara; fans, security, administrative staff, production staff, trainers, and more can be found throughout the massive domed stadium.
Enemy TypesStarsThese are the non-Diva stars of the show. Often found backstage, these midara are adept wrestlers who have not reached the level of strength and power shared by the Divas. They come in three types; Powerhouses, Acrobats, and Strikers.
Powerhouses are the biggest and strongest with the highest starting stamina. However, they take more damage when their legs and joints are targeted.
Acrobats are smaller, less durable, and don't hit quite as hard. However, they are fast, letting them attack twice in one turn and their attacks have a slightly bigger crit threshold (even rolls greater than 75 instead of the usual 85.)
Strikers are the run-of-the-mill stars. Their stats are well-balanced and they have neither the weaknesses nor strengths of Acrobats or Powerhouses.
SecurityThese fit guards ensure the safety of the M.W.A. and its fans. Security midara pose the biggest threat to those who do not conceal their strength. If an intruder is armed or otherwise appear threatening, security will call for backup and seek to restrain them as opposed to trying to defeat them. On the other hand, if an intruder is unarmed or seems to bear no ill intent, security will escort or direct them to any non-exit location in the arena.
Asking how to leave the arena is a major red flag to security that you are not under the thrall of any midara, and they will pursue you accordingly.
AdministratorsWell-dressed and competent, administrators keep things going in the arena. Administrators schedule events, manage security, and coordinate production staff. These midara are most likely to identify those who aren't supposed to be there. While nothing special in combat, their authoritative powers are frightening. If one calls out to you, you will be unable to continue on your way until they are satisfied with your answers, and lying will be extremely difficult under their heavy gazes. In addition, they can contact just about any member of the staff on a whim.
FansThis group of midara is a true mixed bag. Midara of all kinds come to the arena to watch M.W.A. matches. Chances are that most fans you meet are run-of-the-mill, low-level midara with no advanced skills or abilities, but you never now when a well-renowned midara might attend.
Camera CrewThese midara are relatively scarce, but extremely dangerous to those unaware of their existence. If noticed by one of these teams, and no other major event is taking place in the arena, they will broadcast footage of an intruder for the entire arena to see. Depending on the circumstances, a large number of midara; fans, security, Stars, and potentially even Divas may converge upon the intruder's location. If this happens, escape from the arena will be nearly impossible.
Medical PersonnelNaturally, a combat arena has plenty of doctors and physical trainers. The combat abilities of these midara are extremely limited, but they are capable of healing their fellow midara and brainwashed prey.
Arena LocationsThe M.W.A. Arena is a huge building with much more to it than the ring. It is nearly as easy to lose pursuers in it as it is to get lost yourself.
RingsideThe main stage for the arena, 'Ringside' is the collective term for the location of the ring, the entrance ramp, the stage, and the audience seating. Being here around the time of a show is an extremely bad idea.
Possible Enemy Types: Fans, Security, Stars, Divas, Medical Personnel
BackstageThe collection of tunnels that connect most restricted areas of the arena together. This is the most consistently busy area in the arena because of how critical it is to travel anywhere.
Possible Enemy Types: Security, Administrators, Camera Crew, Stars, Medical Personnel, Divas
Locker RoomsA place for M.W.A. performers to keep their belongings and prepare for action. There are three types of locker rooms. Green rooms are modestly furnished, fairly comfortable rooms where Stars and Divas keep their prey that are waiting to fight in the ring. Communal rooms are generally for Stars and have smaller lockers for many of them to use. Private rooms are about as big as communal rooms, but are lavsighly furnished and reserved for individual Divas to use.
Possible Enemy Types: Stars, Divas, Medical Personnel Security, Camera Crew
Performance CenterA large gym filled with rings and a wide variety of exercise equipment.
Possible Enemy Types: Stars, Medical Personnel
ConcourseJust outside the audience seating area are rings lined with concession stands. It is very difficult to stay unnoticed here, but fairly easy to disappear into a crowd. If you're able to look like you belong, that is.
Possible Enemy Types: Fans, Security, Administrators
Parking GarageBeneath the arena is a spacious garage for stadium staff and production trucks. It isn't typically that populated and leads directly out of the arena. However, because of this security is tighter at the access points.
Possible Enemy Types: Security
OfficesFew and far between, the arena houses a handful of office spaces and conference rooms.
Possible Enemy Types: Administrators
SkyboxesHigh above the ring is a circle of luxuriously furnished V.I.P. rooms for big-name visitors. They're very powerful midara that likely cannot be defeated without making a ruckus, but most occupants will be too focused on the show to be on the lookout for enemies and security is only present at the entrances to these areas.
Possible Enemy Types: V.I.P. Fans
(The enemies here have extremely basic movesets. Blown kisses and the like. I'll edit this if any more ideas come to me. Also, I'm planning on listing match types either here or on the Divas thread.)
