Dabria vs The Midara Wrestling League

"Oh, it's Dabria," She informed her, "And I'll try to put on a good show, but I might be winning too fast for that." She said this with a lot of confidence for someone who has only fought one midara, and lost at that.

"Oh, someone's confident." Trisha told her with smirk on her lips. "Can't wait to see if you can back that up."

"I'll see you when the matches start up then to prove I can back that up," Dabria said as she left to go mentally prepare for the upcoming matches.

"Later, Dabria!" Trisha said with a wave before she went back to work.

Time seemed to fly by. When she returned to the warehouse, the place was packed wall to wall with cheering fans.

She probably should of asked earlier where she should go before the matches, so she just returned to the office area she was brought to before.

Dabria entered the office to find Shirley sorting through paperwork. "Oh, welcome back." the referee said as she looked up from her work. "A waiting room's been set up for all the people who are signed up to fight."

"Understood," Dabria simply said, heading off to wherever this waiting room was.

Dabria entered the waiting room to find a few other people gathered there. Most of them seemed to be locals, but she managed to spy at least what seemed to be one Adventurer among the bunch.

She hadn't taken many of the locals in the town she was staying at to be fighters, so that was more surprising to her to see them here than it was to see an adventurer. Being the non-socially adjusted person that she was, Dabria didn't approach anyone to start a conversation.

It wasn't long before Dabria heard Shirley's voice being amplified by speakers. "Thank you for coming, everyone! We're pleased to have such a lovely turnout for our opening night! And we even got so many of you to take our challenge! So let's get things started right away, shall we? Our first match has the challenger, Dabria, going up against the rising star of our girls, Trisha!"

The crowd erupted into cheers and Dabria took that as her cue to head out to the ring.

With that being her cue, Dabria left the waiting room and got out onto the ring, before saying something in an unknown language that caused her scythe to appear in front of her.

(Unless you disagree, I'd believe she'd have enough time before the fight to summon her scythe.)

The arena went completely silent when Dabria summoned her scythe.

"Uh, you do remember the part about not doing lasting harm, right?" Shirley asked nervously


"It's fine!" Trisha interjected as she hopped into the ring. "After all, she's going to need every advantage she can if she wants to hold out against me. Right, everyone?" she asked as she waved to the crowd, which immediately got them all cheering again.

Dabria: 30 Willpower + Scythe
Trisha: 30 Stamina + 0 Hype

"My understanding is that it is hard to hurt midara, so there shouldn't be lasting harm," Dabria replied to Shirley as she waited for Trisha to be ready for the fight and a bell or something to signify the start of the fight.

Death Spiral

The bell rang, and Dabria quickly started swinging. She landed two quick slashed on her opponent before Trisha stepped in close and punched her in the chest.

Trisha: 28 Stamina + 0 Hype + Heal Blocked

Seeing how she had leather armor on, a simple punch wasn't going to be messing her rhythm up, with Dabria twirling her scythe to get ready for another two slashes, one running down Trisha body and the other running across it.

Crucifixion Slash

(Trip Kick -roll 45- Fail!)

Dabria swung her weapon. but her opponent proved to be agile enough to dodge both her slashes.


Dabria: 29 Willpower + Scythe
Trisha: 28 Stamina + 0 Hype

Dabria continued swinging her weapon around trying to get Trisha to back away, planning on firing a beam of energy at her once she did.

Ray of Enfeeblement

Trisha managed to get a quick punch in before she back way to get out of the range of Dabria's scythe. The wrestler was then caught off guard when her opponent blasted her with magic.


Dabria: 28 Willpower + Scythe
Trisha: 26 Stamina + 0 Hype + Disadvantage(2)

The wrestler should be more sluggish on her attacks now that Dabria's magic had infected her, and Dabria planned on taking full advantage of that, moving back in with a twirling scythe.

Death Spiral

Trisha was quickly backed against the ropes in her weakened state. Unable to dodge, all she could do was raise her arms as her opponent slashed at her again and again with her scythe.

Dabria continued laying on the pressure, forcing the league's upcoming star to survive through an onslaught of slashes.

Trisha let out a pained cry as Dabria relentlessly slashed her fierce weapon

Dabria decided to lay off for a moment, her offensive at least, to give Trisha a chance to shine as she tried working some of her magic on herself.

Before Dabria could cast her spell, Trisha pushed off the ropes and slammed into to her. The pair landed on the mat with the wrestler on top.

"Got to admit, you're pretty good." Trisha said as she tried to hold the woman from another world down.

"I told you I'd back up my words from earlier," Dabria replied as she tried pushing the rising star of the league off of her.
