"Alright, well, I guess we'll be going then. I'll see if I can get that artifact here soon. Till then!" She felt a little awkward after Laurane just returned to her work so suddenly, but she felt that might be as good a time as any to get going.

As Rachel for downstairs she found the artificial secretary still seated at the front desk. "Hello again. How did it go?" She asked.

"Oh, it went really well, actually. Better than I'd expected, in fact," she stated, heading for the door, but lingering to talk to the secretary. "I'm actually getting ready to run an errand for her."

"That's great. Any chance I could convince you to consent to a short interview when you get back?" The secretary asked, hoping the question would be better received now that Rachel was in a good mood.

"Now that I know nothing nefarious is going on here... Sure," she said, giving her consent to be interviewed as she popped open the door. "I'll see you then."

With that Rachel found herself back on the streets of Midaraoplis, now with a sidequest to keep her busy. The university was also in the industrial district, but a good ways away from Cybelle HQ so it might take her a little while to get there depending on what got in the way.

She got going right away, keeping her eyes out for any shops or stops that might look like a good place to spend her money along the way. Since she was likely to be in the city for a while, she may as well scout for decent stores and restaurants.

Vulcan didn't get far before she spotted a peculiar scene. A pair of big bootied ASSassins hassling a stage magician who seemed to be setting up a stage to put on a show. "We told ya. You can't perform here. Not without paying your dues." The first ASSassin growled as she approached the helpless magician.

Rachel rushed out towards the two ASSassins and rushes in with a burning punch aimed squarely for one of their midsections. "I don't think so, you two-bit thugs!! You want hassle any innocents when I'm around, so prepare yourselves for a fight!" Something she may have neglected to think about... And that I neglected to mention... The Frenemy code was currently inactive.
