Roleplay Thread: The World Called Sharma

"This world is known as Sharma. It is a world inhabited by two kinds of creatures. There are Humans, which are normal beings, which I'm sure we're all familiar with. Then, there are Sharmites. These are female only creatures that are weaker physically, but rely on a special form of magic that allows them to empower themselves and others. This power amasses mostly in their lips, allowing them to use their unique powers by kissing, or by blowing kisses. Both races, Humans and Sharmites, are capable of using various forms of magic and weaponry, but only Sharmites can use this special magic, known as Love Power. Like how Humans have several different races, Sharmites have several different appearances, but these are more radically different, looking like things like Catgirls, Nagas, Lamiae, Bunnygirls, Harpies, even Humans, and have several other kinds of appearances as well.
"The Humans and Sharmites used to live peacefully, but one day, a Sharmite woman proclaiming herself the Queen of Sharma built up an army of Sharmites and began to attack Humans, believing that Sharmites were the superior race. A heroic Sharmite and a pair of Humans, one male and one female, decided to build an army of Humans and Sharmites that disagreed with the self-proclaimed Queen. The heroic army won, but the 'Queen's' influence forever changed the world. Many Sharmites and even some Humans decided that the Queen's visions were correct. They decided that her evil ways were the right ones, and began to build a society away from the peaceful one. From then on, the two societies lived away from one another. The society that accepts Humans, where Humans and Sharmites are treated equally, is known as "Capital City". The new city, where Sharmites are high class and Humans are little more than slaves and peasants, is known as "The Queen's City". They usually stay away from eachother, but recently, one society attacked the other. That battle ended in a stalemate, but now tensions are high between the societies..."

If you've paid attention, you should already be signed up. As I stated at the end of the sign-up topic, you can now set up where your character begins and what they're doing, then I'll give you some ways to interact.

(Ugh you had to post this during Turkey Weekend >.>, welp back from being out of town, now lets see if I can't help get this thing going alittle.)

"Well the Capital, it sure has been awhile." Hart wiped the sweat from his brow as he gazed upon the enormous city from a distance. It has been alittle over 3 months since he was last here and his stay was extremely brief. Had he known another battle was going to take place a month later, he more then likely may have stuck around longer til everything blew over. For him though the last two months have become an extreme hassle, not long after the little scuffle of the two opposing nations, he was tricked into helping a group of Sharmites with some odd jobs, only to be almost captured and more then likely sold off as a slave. Lucky for him, those bastards severly underestimated his tenacity and he was able to escape while leaving a few of them with some parting gifts that will make a nice warning to anyone who tried it again. Sadly until now he avoided all Sharmites that didn't have a friendly human near them because of that incident. Even areas close to the capital didn't seem safe as the queens hordes seemed to enjoy lurking close enough where friendly Sharmites and Humans may fall for any traps set.

"Seriously"" He muttered to himself as he finally reached the gate of the capital. "Sometimes those cute smiles are too hard to ignore, it'll be nice not to act like a total dick to Sharmites for a little while." Even if there was an offhand chance some Sharmites loyal to the queen lurked in Capital, Hart had little to worry. Unless they knew the right precautions to take, he would not be easy to capture and most spies would not give away their position to capture one lone human. "First day in and I am gonna relax, have a nice hot meal, and crash like a bear in the dead of winter." He gave a loud yawn as he approached a near by end. Work can wait til later, for now rest and relaxation was on his mind.

Capital City
As Hart approaches the town, all seems to be serene. There aren't any conflicts, the people are going about their usual business, Humans and Sharmites, and everyone appeared to be in a cheerful mood. The local wandering medic, Kim Cureny, passed by the entrance, with a slight skip in her step, which made sense since she was a Lapin (Bunny Girl) Sharmite. Also at the entrance, it looked like there was a Human woman talking to a Harpy Sharmite with a messenger bag at her side.

Capital City
Another Lapin skipped down the road with a giggle. She smiled and looked up at the sky, then down the road. "The sun's really bright today!" She exclaimed. "It makes me happy, actually!" She blew a pink gum bubble about as big as a grapefruit and looked about. Seeing the Harpy with the messenger bag, she poked her bubble, popping it, and cleaned it up, then ran to the Harpy. "Excuse me, Mail Harpy?" She exclaimed.

The Harpy turned to her. "Can I help you, Amy?" She responded. Amy Lunaria is a person who would come talk to her often, occasionally with something to deliver.

"Do you have any mail for me?" The curious Lapin asked her.

Shaking her head, the Harpy told her "No, sorry."

Amy nodded to herself and looked about. "Well, umm..." She muttered. "Thanks anyway." She walked off calmly, but still smiling, blowing a face sized gum bubble.

Sedurra put on her dress, applied her favorite lipstick and left the tower, it had been too long since she'd had a proper mission like this, she really had missed the feeling that came with watching someone fall under her spell, never revealing her true intentions until it was too late, however there was a miner setback, her target was a Lamia, not her favorite creature to say the least, although for a few days, there had been nothing she would have preferred to see, however she doubted she would allow herself to be tricked like that again.

leaving the castle she pulled a cloak over her head and headed for the Capital

Queen's City
As she left the castle, Sedurra saw some common sights for the Queen's City. There were Sharmites walking around, with Humans tending to their every whim. Some were kind masters. Others were more dominating. At the moment, there were a Succubus Sharmite leading around a male Human, who clung to her like she was his goddess. There was also a Drider Sharmite that seemed to keep to herself, but there also seemed to be a Human boy sitting with a Slime girl and sharing a drink with her. The road out of the city was fine and clear. The weather was bright and overall sunny, like in Capital City.

Sedurra laughed slightly when she saw the man clinging to her friend

"Another man already lilith?" She called "You're making the rest of us look bad!"

The two succubus's laughed and Sedurra left the city gates



Meanwhile in field Erick was hiding, he had been tracking a deer for an hour or so and had finally managed to lure it to some bait, as the animal started to eat, he was ready to pounce, but stopped dead in his tracks as he heard soft footsteps heading his way, he slunk back into the small ditch under the roots of the tree and waited for whatever was making the sound to reveal itself...

Queen's City
Outside of the gate, the foliage began to accumulate into the Queen's Forest. All seemed normal here. There was a passing squirrel, but nothing too exciting at the moment.

Grand Field
The approaching footsteps belonged to a Drider Sharmite. She looked about curiously as if she was searching for something.

Erick, upon seeing the drider, sunk back further into his hiding place, he knew that these beautiful girls were not all bad, but normally not worth the risk, he had seen many a man fall to the charms of a drider

Erick
The Drider looks through some nearby bushes, doesn't see anything, and starts to walk past. She's somewhat formally dressed, but doesn't have too many features that make her stand out from other Driders.

as the drider left his sight Erick very slowly crept out of his hiding placing, hoping he was quiet enough for her not to hear him

Erick
The Drider actually appears to be humming to herself. She's still looking through the bushes. Visible nearby is that one Jack Cutter's cabin.

Quarthis opened the door to her castle, before she slithered out and shut the door behind her. She had a small brown satchel slung around her left shoulder. She looked up at the bright sky for a few seconds before she slithered over to a tree and began picking some red berries and placing them inside her satchel.

Erick, deciding that this girl seems mostly harmless decides to ask her

"Need any help with what you're looking for"

Erick
The Drider turned to face Erick, sort of surprised. "Oh, hey." The Drider responded. "I'm looking for grapes and berries, to make wine with. If you didn't know, I'm Jasmine Ochelle." She explained. "I run the bar in Capital City, called the 'Purple Vine'. Who're you?"

Quarthis
The forest was peaceful that day. Squirrels and even a fox were running around. The fox slowly approached her, curious. Amongst the trees in the forest, there appeared to be a man gathering lumber.

"I'm Erick, nice to meet you, I don't think I've ever been to your Bar, if you want I could help you look" Erick didn't know why he had offered to Help, there's something about sharmites, even when they weren't trying, that made you want them to like you

Erick
Jasmine smiled and nodded to Erick. "Oh, that'd be great!" She told him. She began to look through the bushes again. "I hope I didn't scare you or anything, a lot of people are scared of Driders."

Quarthis noticed the fox looking at her and she smiled as she looked at it. "Hello there. Don't worry, I won't bite you." She then noticed something out of the corner of her eye and looked up to see someone gathering lumber. Conflicting thoughts began to enter her mind. Maybe I should try and help him...no,no,no, he could be bait, part of a trap set by your enemies...that's ridiculous, none of my enemies know I am alive...besides, if I help them out, they'll leave that much quicker!

Making up her mind, Quarthis closed her satchel and slithered through the trees towards the man. She stopped a few feet behind him and said quietly, "Um......h-hello."

Quarthis
The fox followed her as she approached the man. "Oh, hey!" The man responded. "Are you the one who lives in that castle? It's nice to meet you. Call me Jack... Please don't hurt me." He laughed nervously, unsure of Quarthis' "alignment", so to speak.

Quarthis laughed too, before she said, "Don't worry, I won't hurt you......unless you give me a reason. To answer your question, yes that is my home. What are you doing here?"

Erick smiles "of course not, actually Im kind of the opposite of scared of you"

((Sorry for the inactivity people, computer has been dead for a good few weeks, and then christmas preparations and... ya know... anyways, lemme see if I can catch up here.))

Niles nervously examined the familiar surroundings. "The queens forest..." He shuddered slightly. "Always did hate this place..." He said as he walked as quickly as possible away from the queens city. He had just escorted a young human couple from the capital who insisted that they needed to get to the queens city urgently. Niles still couldn't understand why any sane human being would willingly choose to travel there considering its reputation.
"Welcome to the queens city." He muttered sarcastically. "If you like fine wine, breathtaking architecture and being a horny sharmites love slave for the rest of your life then you are going to love queens." He managed a slight grin. Niles would often try and find ways to amuse himself when he was nervous. "Alright, here's the plan. Get the hell out of the creepy forest, set up camp in the plains, cook yourself a nice bowl of soup, and get a full nights rest... and stop talking to yourself."

Niles sighed, Maybe this job really was starting to drive him crazy.

Quarthis
Jack turned to a wheelbarrow he had with him. "I'm gathering firewood." He told her. "I run a neutral little rest stop in the middle of the Grand Field, so I try to make it hospitable. Though, my neutrality frequently gets me attacked..." He laughed nervously.

Erick
"The opposite of scared of me?" Jasmine responded. She giggled. "Oh, I see! You think I'm pretty!" She guessed.

Niles
On the positive end, he was a fair distance away from Sedurra, and there was little, if any, chance that she'd find him, especially considering she was already on her own mission. On the bad side, there was a small sound of wings fluttering. It sounded like it could be a hummingbird, but there's just as much chance it could be a Fairy Sharmite. Granted, it's not guaranteed to be bad, but with how close he was to the Queen's City, the odds are they were speciests.

Erick laughed nervously "yeah, I didn't realise how lame that sounded until I said it

The fluttering sound caused Niles to stop dead in his tracks. He lifted his right hand to the hilt of his dagger as he scanned his surroundings.
"Has someone been tailing me from the city? Sheesh, how lonely are these people!?" He groaned as he prepared for the worst.
His eyes quickly darted from one spot to another searching for whatever could be making the sound. After a few seconds though he let his arm relax to his side again.
Niles let out a deep sigh. "What am I doing?" He muttered as he looked down towards his feet. "I'm in a forest, surrounded by animals, and I'm freaking out because of fluttering? This place really is turning me into a nervous wreck... Heh, next thing you know ill be jumping at the sight of my own shadow..."
