She was definitely getting dizzy from the ride. By the time they'd arrived, she was practically dancing from her dazed state.

"I'm...juuuust fiiiiiine," she droned, bumping into Tix's shoulder. It took her a short while to shake it off, but she came out relatively fine.

Tix rolled her eyes as she took Marie's hand and guided her to a nearby cafe "Let's rest for a bit, the shadow jumps are really nasty the first time, what do you want to drink?"

"Umm...Do they have Strawberry Milk?" she asked slowly.

Tix nodded as she made a signal to the waiter "A black coffee and a strawberry milk."

Marie was shifting her eyes all around the cafe and found people staring at her. Her only owned clothes was an expensive black dress with a long skirt, not normally something you'd take into a cafe. And it didn't take long to notice the joint gaps giving what she was away. She started to shrink under their gazes, anxiety climbing fast.

Tix noticed the other customer's looks and how Marie was starting to feel intimidated, well, if they wanted intimidation, they would get intimidation "HEY! What the fuck are you creeps looking at, if you don't mind your fucking business I'll poke your fucking eyes!"

Some people freaked out, others left, and some even drew their attention to Tix and Marie BECAUSE of her outburst. "Excuse me, ma'am, don't make a racket or use profanity here, please," and employee asked.
"T-Tix, it's f-fine...." Marie tried to assure her.

"Then tell those creeps to stop staring my friend like that." Tix replied, really annoyed.

The employer groaned a bit and looked around as customer pulled their eyes away from them. "You're lucky there weren't any kids in here, lady," he told them.

"If they scare my friend, I don't care if they are kids or adults, she doesn't like being stared at like that." She replied even more annoyed.

"Well, I'm sorry ma'am, I can't control what others do!" Their order cane in and was delivered to the two of them.
"Tix, please..."

Tix calmed down a bit, she stopped arguing with the woman and looked back at Marie "You can let others intimidate you, Marie."

"I-I know. I just need some time to...to get used to it," she replied slowly. She was sheltered for most of her life, so she wasn't used to the public, and of course being a Midara back in those days didn't help either.

"Fine... I guess I can help you until you get use to the public." She said like it wasn't important and taking a sip from her coffee.

"I'm sorry..." She gave Tix a small smile before drinking a bit of her milk. She could sense that Tix meant well. "I'll be relying on you, then..."

"I suppose there is no other choice, I'll have to look after you." The coffee cup was hiding her smile, why was she smiling... Did she really felt happy for having someone depend on her?

Tix looked around "Sure, let's take a seat om that booth over there, people won't be able to stare at you there." She pointed to an empty booth before turning back and paying for the drinks.
