A Doll's New House

Marie couldn't feel anything false about her words. From what she was hearing, Tix was being completely open. "And...and you've been like this since?" She didn't like the sound of "trapped between dimensions". "Well...I'm glad you're here now. That you decided you were going to be here."

"If I'm here is thanks to Ix..." She took a long sip from her coffee "I doubt the others wanted me there... Specially considering what I represent and what I did..."

"Well, I want you here now!" she stated surprisingly firmly. "And...and I'm sure they've warmed up to you, right?"

"Heh... My sins and my actions are too big to be easily forgiven... I won't run from them with the excuse that I was being manipulated... Even if some of them still hates me... I'll keep going forward because it's the only thing I can do..."

Stars danced in her eyes as she listened to this woman speak. "Wow..." She smiled, brightest one since they went out. "You're so cool."

"E-Eh? I'm not... Not like the others, no... I'm just normal... Thank you, Marie..."

"I think you're cool!" she insisted. "Super cool!" She almost seemed defiant in her insistence.

"I-I... No one ever said I'm cool..." Tix took another sip of her coffee "A-Anyway, we should finish our drinks and go buy you some clothes."

"Well I'm saying it now!" She nodded and started to finish her milk, gleeful with the flavor of her milk.

"T-Thank you..." Tix looked away to hide her blush as she finished her coffee.

"Mhm!!" Marie quickened the pace to finish her coffee before announcing she was finished, leaving a nice pink milk moustache on her face

Tix looked at Marie and chuckled "Such an elegant moustche." She joked.

She snickered as she wiped the milk from her lip and got prepped to go get some clothes. She obviously took time to put herself out of people's sight on the way out though.

Tix walked next to Marie, keeping an eye open for clothing stories while keeping at bay any creep that could try anything funny with Marie.

The eventually found a small shop with clothes and the like. It was probably good that it was a smaller establishment. It was less likely to have more customers than a supermarket or mall. "This place looks good..."

Tix took a look at the place, the shot was a bit smal but it had a lot of different types of clothes, maybe they could find something for Marie in here "Want to take a look inside?"

She slowly nodded, wanting to finally be capable of adjusting to society a bit further and to be able to change out of her musty dress.

Tix entered the store with Marie and helped her look for clothes, she found a simple yet pretty blue dress and handed it to Marie "What about this one?"

"It looks nice..." She took the dress in her own hands and looked around, noticing the changing rooms and coming to an understanding mostly because of the sign above them. "I'll go try it on!"

Tix nodded "I'll wait here then."

After Marie left and changed into the dress from behind the door of the changing room, a man appeared and tapped Tix's shoulder. "Hey gorgeous! Are you Lucifer, because you look like you fell from heaven."
Behind him was, presumably, a friend of his who looked at Tix with curiosity. "Well, congratulations, Hank, you at least found a girl who fits the description of your dumbass line..."

Tix raised a brow "I'm not, but I can send you to him if you keep annoying me." She replied without even looking at them.

"Woah, okay, sorry...." The first one scoffed irritably, while his friend was snickering in the background. "I guess I'll just find someone else. I think I saw a cute on rush to the changing rooms?"

"And I guess, you DO want me to send you with Lucifer." She replied at the comment about Marie, this time, she did turned around, her red eyes fixed into the man's.

The man rushed backwards away from Tix, freaked out a bit by her glowing red eyes, knocking a jacket racket over.
