With Anika under Nui's control and Xana faking the same state, things are finally reaching the events of Silk and Slime. So while the cat and her guardian go out on missions, here's what happens in the meantime.
Part 1 - Liselle Meets Nui:

Nui is taking a break from spreading life fiber to go shopping within a city, walking out of one with a large bag of clothing. Nearby Liselle is scoping out a potentially rich target to steal from and happen to sight Nui whom looks rather extravagent to afford to lose items. With some fiasco that resulted in Nui accidentally flinging Liselle onto herself, the two exchanged words and to later meet up in Nui's Penthouse.
Upon arrival, Liselle inquires about different things about REVOCS, including a few details of the property of life fiber that too close to for comfort for the grand couturier. With a few more exchange of words, Liselle decided she knew enough and initiated a charm on Nui. Nui tried to do the same to Liselle, however unlike the many foes she fought before, Nui found herself gravely outmatched by the slimegirl and the moment that she thought she was able to get the up, Liselle's liquid nature is able to easily turn the tide before Nui's attack builds up any momentum. It was then that something totally unexpected had hapened
Nui and Liselle had fallen in love each other.
After a tender moment, Liselle asked Nui out on a date. Nui, unlike how she is just less than an hour ago, happily agrees wanting to spend as much time with Liselle. And so the planning of the date.
Part 2 - The First Date:

Nui and Liselle sleep that night together with Liselle sighing solemnly, catching the Couturier's attention. Liselle expresses her emotional dilemma of wanting to wear the dress Nui made for her, but knowing she can't with the Life Fibers automatically sapping away at her mind when she does. This hurts But somewhat, but she understands and things turn chipper at the reminder of a date they're planning for.
A local festival is brought up and the two agree upon it as their date before Nui deciding her dress and helping Liselle out by supplying a leather outfit.
The two exchange casual conversation and light flirting the next day as they head into the center of the city for their date. As they decide on what to do, Nui points out a ball toss booth and how she loves seeing the shocked looks on the owner's face when their rigged games are beaten.
Liselle gets fixated on a puzzle and eagerly wants to get her hands on it. After promising her the puzzle, Nui tricks the stall owner into thinking she's another dumb customer before not only knocking down the entire pyramid of cans and exposing the fact it was rigged, but also tearing a hole in the back and knocking down the top of his prize shelf.
Nui hands Liselle her prize before pondering if maybe she went overboard, to which Liselle jokingly chalks it up to the Power of Love just before they arrive at a veritable buffet with departures from the usual festival fair. The two order a couple of apple-glazed pork chops and some barbeque ribs before the two confess they'd never cooked before. Just after their orders come in, the lady up front wishes them a fun time as young loves.
As the two seat themselves at a table shaded by an umbrella, the two exchange conversation, leading to an admittance that Liselle has kids back home in a place called the Slime Sovereign, or just The Sovereign. While Nui gets giddy at the prospect of tiny Liselle running around, she soon turns gloomy and says that she's never had family before.
She confesses that she never had biological parents, alluding to an immensely abnormal familial situation as she caps off her talk by stating she had a semblance of a mother before ending the convo topic, not wanting to bog down their first date. Liselle accepts this and lovingly tells her she doesn't have to say anything she doesn't want to.
After finishing their meal, they discuss what to do next, deciding on seeing the fireworks show. Nui manages to grab them first-class seats in the form of the roof of a REVOCS clothing store which has a gorgeous garden. The two share conversation further, flirting and exchanging interests, and even reminiscing on the day prior.
Then the first firework shot up and burst into the darkening sky. As they sit and marvel, the two are struck with a bit of inspiration and dance together on the scenic rooftop. They exchange more words of love and appreciation before things slow down.
As the fireworks show ends, Nui begins to contemplate how she could possibly deserve someone like Liselle, divulging all of the abhorrent things she's done, expecting backlash, only for the cherry slime to tell her that she's still here.
Night fully falls upon the city and the two decide it's time to go back to the penthouse, with Nui giving Liselle a ride with her sick jumping skills. The two drop off at the rooftop and head into the hotel suite from their, ending the night together in bed.
