Echo Vs. Neo

Echo had found himself straddled with a job that was rather unusual for him. To protect rather than destroy. Specifically he had been hired to protect a collection of valuable artifacts for a few days till they could be safely transported. He would normally never take this kind of job, but they had been looking for specifically someone of his skill set and the pay was ludicrous. So the assassin has been convinced to step outside his comfort zone. While lounging around all day beside the crate that held the goods, the knowledge that there was a giant pile of gold at the end kept him focused.

“This is so boring,” Echo complained as he hoisted himself on top of the crate, letting his legs idly hang off as he sat on the edge.

Suddenly the door to the room he was in creaked open, which was strange as there were supposed to be several guards outside, and a heterochromatic woman with hair that was half pink and half brown silently slipped in.

“Hey lass, you shouldn’t be in here. I’d advice you leave right now, or I’ll make you leave, and I won’t be doing so gently,” Echo called out as he hopped down from the box.

She had up a sign as she inspected him. "I don't think I will." It read.

“Don’t say, or I guess write, that I didn’t warn you,” Echo said, getting a quick few stretches in before he planned to flip his hood.

Vanishing Act

Before Echo could try anything the newcomer pulled him into a breathtaking kiss.

“Oh, so no messing around from the start? I can work with that,” He comments as he takes his knife out and slashes at his opponent.

“So what, you’re a set of twins thieves?” Echo comments as he continue trying to get out from between them.

Struggle

Echo struggled free only for the second thief to dissolve into nothingness. "Not quite." Neo's sign read.

“Then feel free to explain,” Echo says as he takes a few steps away from the thief to flip his hood up safely.

"I'm sure you'll figure it out." The thief wrote. Echo was distracted from his plan by Neo playing with the hem of her shirt, gradually exposing more and more cleavage.

“I’m sure I will, so how about you just tell me since we both are sure I’ll figure it out sooner than later,” Echo replies as he reaches into his cloak and pulls out three daggers.

Dagger Throwing

The thief said nothing as she dodged l but one of his daggers, a second double popping into existence.

“So, from how your twin just appeared there, I’m assuming it is either a copy or illusion,” Echo comments, as he moves towards the new thief with his knife readied, “And deciding between those should be easy once or if it is struck with my knife.”

The thief smiled as she dodged his swing before they each jumped in and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

“Don’t think you and whatever that is kissing me will I’ve you an edge over me,” Echo states as he jumps away from the pair, pulling out another trio of daggers from inside his cloak.

"Is there something you would prefer I did to you instead?" The thief wrote as she weathered the storm of blades.

Neo: 19 Stamina + 2 Phantasms

“You know what, I’m feeling generous today, so I will tell you that, on these conditions. First, you give up on getting the artificates I was hired to guard, and second, we resume this battle after the artificates are shipped away, so on the off chance you beat me, you can’t go back on the first condition,” Echo says, having a feeling that his conditions weren’t going to be agreed to, as he tries to take out one of her copies.

"I don't think I will." She wrote back. Echo was suddenly grabbed by one of the illusions and the real Neo room the opportunity to grope and caress every inch of his body.

“Understandable, but I guess you won’t ever know what I’d prefer then,” Echo said, surpassing a moan, as he tore himself out of the copies grasp and swiped at the real one.
