"No. I won't pay up." He responded sternly. Putting on his magic jewelry and drawing his halberd. He didn't intend to be an easy mark.

It was not an insignificant amount if cash. But Test felt obligated to fully show his appreciation. He continued towards the central square, hoping he'd have time to see more of the beautiful dancer after he finished his quest.

Test made it to the center of town, and sure enough, Town Hall was right there amidst all of the commercial buildings in the area. Two policewomen stood outside the entrance to Town Hall, and they didn't look like they were letting anyone inside.

Test walked up to them and asked to be let inside.

"Sorry, no can do. No one sees the mayor without a permit." The one on the left informed him.

"You look like a decent guy, I'm sure the Commissioner could hook you up. But, she's on duty right now, think she said she was staking something out. No idea where, though." The other one suggested.
