Test vs the Hypnotic Puppeteer

"Well you succeeded. And I can't pretend I didn't enjoy it." Test admitted. Fuzzy but happy memories of falling for her dancing through his head.

"Glad to hear it." the blonde muttered.

"I have to ask. If I hadn't been enjoying myself would you have stopped?" The adventurer asked.

"I've never had someone not enjoy it, so maybe?" the blonde said with a shrug. "I mean, there was reason I was fishing for what you liked when he met at the front desk, earlier."

"You were?" Test asked in confusion. He didn't remember that.

"Yup." the blonde said, popping the 'p', as she tried once again to get up.

"I don't remember that." Test admitted as he offered her a hand to help her to her feet.

"I managed to get you in a trance a couple times during our talk." the puppeteer said as she took his offer hand and got up.

"Huh." Test couldn't act surprised. Nor could he really complain with how nice all of that had felt. "Any way to see more of your 'performances'?" He awkwardly asked, not opposed to experiencing something like that again.

"All you have to do is find another one of those star marked tickets." the blonde said as she leaned into him and rested her head on his shoulder.

"I'll be on the lookout for them then." The adventurer told her his voice a little more eager then he intended. He let the blond beauty rest against him, enjoying the intimacy.

The puppeteer twitched her fingers, pulling the strings still attached to Test and making him pull her into a protective hug.

The strings proved unnecessary as Test held the hug. Rubbing the puppeteers back and shifting slightly to help her get comfortable.

Eventually, the puppeteer forced Test to let her go and removed her strings from him. "Well, good luck on your travels."

"Thank you. See you around." Test replied. A little sad to leave so soon. But he had gotten his show, and it was more then worth the price of admission. With all that said the adventurer continued on his way.

"I look forward to our next show!" she called out to him as he left the theater.

Test heartily agreed. Before moving on he made sure to look long and hard for any work in town that might net him additional star tickets.

Unfortunately, Test's search for another star ticket was met with either honest ignorance of what they were or evasive answers.

Test switched gears. Instead looking for odd jobs and adventuring work like the one that had gotten him the ticket in the first place. That way even if he didn't find a ticket he'd still find some work and earn some spending money.

Test eventually found a job for dealing with a midara that was harassing people in the local park.

Test: 30 Willpower

It was standard work. Although sometimes Test wished he was a better diplomat so that he could resolve problems like this without resorting to his stick. He headed out into the park to face off with the trouble maker.

When Test arrived, he found a tanned woman with dirty brown hair. She was wearing a tie-dyed shirt an nothing else.

"Hey, man." she drawled as her greed eyes glanced at him and she offered a lazy wave.

Hip-pie: 30 Stamina

"Hi. I'm here on behalf of some of the locals. They claim you've been bothering people here. Is that true ma'am?" Test asked, hoping to resolve this without having to resort to violence.

"Naw, man. I'm just spreading the love." the woman said as she stood up and walked over to Test. Every movement cause the rainbow of colors on her shirt to move in ways that captivated the man.

That sounded like the excuse a lot of troublesome midara gave. Although it was a lot easier to believe her when her every movement was so captivating. "Well miss. I'm going to have to ask you to find some sort of alternate arrangement. Perhaps letting people come to you instead." Test offered, trying to find the will to look away.
