Dominic vs Ms. Miranda

Dominic was traveling between towns. As the sun started to set, he spied an inn on the side of the road.

"Hm, beer and a water? It's been a bit of a long day, been traveling for a while...I'm Dominic, by the by, pleasure to meet you!" He'd offer a somewhat sweet smile, trying to just make small talk for the time being.

There's a jolt as he watches her fall, getting up and going to help her up. "Goodness, are you alright, miss?"

"Geez, that's gotta be rough...if you ever need help, I'd be more than happy to provide some assistance in fixing things up?" He'd start to go back to his seat, now looking down a little to keep an eye out for more loose boards

He'd nod a little, somewhat surprised by that, and there was a slight suspicion itching at his mind but he decided not to press it for now, simply going back to his seat.

"A-anyway, like I'd been saying...if you want any help around here I'd be happy to see what I can do, perhaps?"

"It's fine. Really, hun." the barkeeper replied as she pulled out to glasses and filled them with beer. "And as I was saying, I'm Ms. Miranda." she handed on glass to Dominic and took the other for herself, which she tapped against his and said," Cheers!" before she drank all of its contents in one go.

Ms. Miranda slammed her empty mug on the counter. Her face quickly began to redden, and she swayed a bit unsteadily on her feet.

He'd laugh a bit in slight amusement, raising his own up for a moment and starting to drink, though it didn't all go down in one go...and after a moment he stared at Miranda with just slight concern.

"...are you ok?"
