Dragonmaid Château II: Full Course Boogaloo

"Come enjoy a weekend vacation, play a little game and get your wish granted!" Those were the flyers that were posted on the walls of several places. Not many people paid them any attention, believing it too good to be truth. There were 3 people who did though. Anika, Robin and Sierra stood in front of the manor's main door. The place didn't look nothing out of the ordinary, just a manor with view to the seat on the edge of town.

The place was quiet but the manor looked like it was being well maintained. The front garden was beautiful, the flowerbeds were tended, the fountain was clean and the water clear. The main gate was open, inviting potential guests to come in and knock on the door. What would await them inside? Would it be just like they were promising in the flier? Would it be a scam? Place looked legit enough to, at least, give it a try...

"Come on, come on, let's just go in already!! I wanna play this game they were talking about!" Anika was practically hopping with anticipation, wanting to get in and have some fun already. She knew better than to dash off without the others though, and did everything she could to contain herself.

"Hmm. Seems peaceful enough."

The librarian shut his book, looking over the establishment with a smile on his face. Nice as the library was, a change of scenery was always appreciated. Though this talk of wishes was... confusing?

"Sorry I'm late." Sierra arrives behind the other three wearing some casual tan jacket over her white blouse and blue plaid skirt. Behind her, she wears a 3 feet backpack which, judging from how far the shoulder strap sinks into her blouse, seems to be fairly hefty in weight. On top of her head was a very small doll with white shirt, blue skirt and a red hairbow, her legs swinging forth and backward as if playing around on top of Sierra's head though careful not to accidentally hit her heel on Sierra's forehead.

In Sierra's hand was one of the flyers advertising this spot. The vacation spot was a pretty solid sell for her but she was a bit skeptical of the the wish granted on the game aspect. Could be an advertisement hook or something duplicitous. The crafter kept some stuff in her backpack just in case thing went south.

"OK, we all set?" Sierra asks the others.

"Yep! I'm all set, I've been set since yesterday! This is gonna be so much fun!!" She was eager to leap right through the doors and play whatever game they had in mind.

"I see no issue with this. Though I am curious what they mean by granting a wish....Truly, such a thing can't be possible...can it?"

Robin's gaze landed squarely upon the door to the chateau, a hand tightening upon the spine of his book. "...."

"Well it could be ranging from either within their powers to a marketing hook."  To a scam.  Sierra didn't voice the last part outload. Rin I hope your contact validated this place.  She thought.  She decided to take the first step to approach the door.  

Just as she is about to knock on the door, Spring Rose flies off of her head and flies up to the door.  She turns sideways in mid air and lands on the door and starts dance like a ballerina before she flies back to Sierras' head.  

Sierra chuckles at Spring Rose's creative 'knocks'  "Thank you."  She brushes her finger affectionately against the door in which the doll responds by hugging Sierra's fingers with a smile.

"Hey, that doll of yours is pretty cute! Where did you find her?" Anika was utterly fascinated by the moving, dancing doll, she thought it must've been magic!

At the sound of the knocking, a voice answered. "One moment please." Footsteps could be heard on the other side of the door before it opened. A maid, with green hair and horns, draconic in nature, welcomed them. "Ah, our new guests have arrive. Please come in, come in." She stepped to the side, bowing down her head as she awaited for the guests to come in.

Inside the reception hall, a table had been placed and another woman waited patiently for the newcomers to come in, all the while four more maids waited behind her." As Ori said, please come in, dear guests." The woman spoke in a soft and calm tone as she adjusted her glasses, meanwhile, the other four observed the newcomers, with one who was dressed in black whispering something to another who had long, red hair and a pink haired one who was patting a little, blue haired one.

"Oh wow! Are you the ones hosting the game? I've never seen ladies like you before!" She gawked with wonder at the maids, staring at their horns. "Like you have cat ears, but instead its like these hard horns! Oh, have you ever tried to poke things with those?"

Robin took a step in, looking around at the decor. Seemed like a nice enough place. And the people seemed interesting, though....were those horns? Rubbing the back of his head, the librarian cleared his throat. "Ah, uh...thank you for having us. Nice place you have here."

Unlike the other two, the horns were mostly an afterthought to Sierra. As they make their way to the reception hall, she observes her surrounding for a moment then to the others within the room with an observant eye and a smile. "Thank you for having us."

Meanwhile Spring Rose decided to stand on Sierra's head and wave cheerfully at all of the new people that are in the room.

The maid with glasses welcomed them, offering them a seat while the one who opened the door took her place next to the other maids. "Please take a seat." Three chairs awaited for them to sit down in front of the desk. "This is a mere formality, just an explanation of the game and some conditions to keep in mind."

The other maids were chit-chating among them, with the little blue one clearly interested in the little doll on Sierra's head.

Robin walked over, sitting down on the chair. It was rather comfortable. Placing his book into a bag, he eagerly awaited to hear the rules.

Anika was next to take a seat, really eager to hear the rules and get this game going. She was here to have fun and the dragon ladies, dancing doll, and other stuff was already getting her excited.

Sierra was the last to take her seat at the remaining chair, crossing a leg one over the other, though making sure her skirt doesn't rise too high; her hand rests on her laps.

Spring Rose notices that someone was staring at her. She rises from Sierra's head and floats over to the blue one, hovering about 3 feet away from her face tilting her head with a curious look.

Hara waited until all three of them were seated before pulling out some papers with instructions. They were a resume of the game, the goal, how to obtain points and, finally, a map of the manor. "As you can see. The game is pretty simple: during the period of three days, which you can take as a vacation of course, you'll be offered games or challenge from the staff of the manor. By clearing these games or challenges, you may gain points and, once you obtain enough points, the final game will begin. No more details can be disclosured of the final game in order to keep the excitement until the end, as you might imagine." The headmistress adjusted her glasses as she finished her explanation.

"Oh! A little, flying girl! Like Eri's! But this one flies and she's so cute too!" Philia was really excited to see little Spring Rose, her pigtails wiggled and her tail wagged behind her.

The pink maid patted Philia's head. "Philia, remember to keep it quiet while Hara explains the rules to our guests."

"O-Oh. Right, sorry." Embarrassed, Philia gave the guests a bow. "My apologies."

Hara chuckled before redirecting her attention to the three guests in front of her. "One thing that guest usually ask about is the prize. Yes, if you win the game, you'll get a chance to have one wish granted each, as long as it is within out power to grant it, of course. Is there any other question you might wish to ask?"

Anika called out, "No questions from me! I wanna play and see what you got!" Anika was almost like a child, though it was hard to look past the fairly revealing clothes she wore. When Ferro insisted she wear clean, non-ragged apparel, Anika accepted only on the condition that she get to choose what she wears. That was only fair, he supposed...

Right now, she was all dolled up in an earthy crop top that showed off her midriff and didn't cling too much. She didn't have as much chest as other Midara, so it was actually fairly decent for her, though her bottoms told a different story: short shorts that complimented her rear quite well. She was also barefoot because, come on, do you really think a Nekomata from the woods would wear any kind of footwear... aside from socks, because come on. Who doesn't like the feeling of fresh, out-of-the-dryer socks?

"First question, when you say 'Within your power to grant it', what does that entail? What is the extent of what are you able to grant?" Sierra asks, that very question that has been hanging on her mind. "Would Spring Rose be allowed to aid me or is she excluded from the challenges?"

The aforementioned doll looks at the wiggling pigtail and follows her head as she gaze at the tip. Then she suddenly finds Philia's and flies down towards and with a puzzled look, never seen a lizard-like tail before.

"Spring Rose, don't drift behind people over there." Sierra calls over to the doll. The doll hears her mother's voice and hesitantly drifts from the tail and onto Philia's shoulder, again looking at the pigtails before playing with them.

"Hmm. My only question would be, 'what if we decide we want out at a later time'?" Robin slowly drummed his fingers along the spine of his book, taking in his surroundings with an idle, almost introspective expression.

The young maid chucked and patted Spring Rose's head gently. Meanwhile, Hara nodded, looking at Robin. "If you decide that you wish to leave due to some outside issue or because you don't find you accommodations comfortable or acceptable for your standings, you are free to leave at any time. Forfeiting the prize of course." She adjusted her glasses and directed her attention to Sierra. "Well, we do not posses incommensurable power. So as long as it is possible for us to make it happen, we will. As an example: the last guest wished to spend a week in our chateau as a vacation, we agreed and offered her and her partner a whole month."

The head maid looked back at Spring Rose, happily playing with Philia. "Of course, it won't be an issue. Miss Spring Rose can help you with the challenges and games."

"Hmm." The drumming along the spine stopped as the librarian processed all of this. As far as he could tell, there was very little drawbacks to this. They weren't trapped into the game if they agreed, and the maids weren't promising anything out of their capabilities.

"Well..I think these are acceptable conditions. What about you folks?" His head turned to the other two playing this game.

"You already know I'm down! I wanna play and have tons of fun!" Anika had her hands on the table, tail waving about, her looking like she was ready to pounce from excitement.

Sierra relaxes a bit. That was what she needed to hear, that their capability of granting the wish was within reasonable mundane means. She honestly didn't have a particular wish in mind of yet, though the trip might bring something to mind. Perhaps something for Spring Rose.

She turns her attention back to Hara. "I think that is all the questions for now. I am ready to participate." She then calls out to her daughter. "Spring Rose, looks like we are about to play a game." The doll perks up, lets go of Philia's pigtails and raises both of her hands in the air as if saying 'Yay!'. Sierra chuckles. "I think she is ready as well."

Hara nodded. "Then, if there are no more questions..." The headmistress gestured one of the maids to approach and the one dressed in black walked towards them, giving them a graceful bow. "Sylvia will guide you to your rooms."

Sylvia gestured them to follow. "Please, this way dear guests."

"In the meantime, Ori will help with your belongings." The green haired maid approached them as well, ready to help carry their luggage. "And Ruby will make sure to prepare a delicious meal to refill your energy." The red maid bowed and headed towards the kitchen with the little, blue haired maid following in tow. "Please enjoy your stay and, specially, have fun."
