Dustin and the Anglerfish (Drowning Cove) [COMPLETE]

A small, but by no means dingy little sailboat skipped across the open ocean on a crisp, overcast day, manned by none but a plucky rabbit on the hunt for rare ingredients. Supposedly, there was a pond on the landmass up ahead that had these downright fascinating little water flowers growing there that could potentially be used for a water-breathing potion. Imagine, breathing underwater! All the undersea ingredients he could find...

Dustin looked confidently out at the open sea, feeling fairly proud of himself for getting out and conquering this much of it with nothing but his little vessel (it had to be small enough for him to comfortably operate, after all). The hours washed by, until suddenly...

plip!

Uh oh.

plip plip!

Rain sprinkled down from the cloud blanket smothering the sky, one particularly large drop splishing onto Dustin's nose and making him reflexively scrunch up his face. Better make landfall soon, this could go from dreary to dire very quickly.

This seaward trip could really mark a brand new chapter of his life! Before, all of his ingredients came from the (albeit) magical forest that he made his home, but once he gets his paws on this flower and makes his first waterbreathing potion, the whole world is going to open up for him! The ability to dive deep into the oceans, lakes, and ponds for exceedingly rare ingredients will let him create new droughts and tinctures the world has never seen! Thoughts of alchemical advancement dance around in his head, distracting the optimistic bunny from the dangerous storm in front of him that He Really Should Have Noticed.

Having packed every necessity for a two-week venture, Dustin is confident that he's ready for whatever this land before him could possibly throw at him... even if he didn't do as much research as he should have.

This long pink ear twitches, a drop of warm rain landing on the tip. Then another on his nose. The bunny captain is snapped back to attention realizing the danger that has be quietly brewing directly in front of him. A rogue wave laps at the side of his little ship, Dustin having to dodge beneath the swinging sail as the winds sharply change. His belongings rattle in the watertight compartment below his feet, save for a leather messenger bag filled with emergency potions strapped tightly to his back. The warning drops soon became a shower, then an absolute downpour, soaking the bun to the bone in a matter of seconds as he foolishly sails into the only thing between him and land.

He's determined to make it to land, not caring what a little storm has to say about it! He's on a mission and he's going to see it to completion, whether mother nature likes it or not! Land is so close he can practically taste the sand! He starts planning out shelter in his head, all of his options for setting up a safe base of operations and how he should ration off his food, not to mention unpacking the ship and--

~CLONK!~

His thoughts and plans for this island paradise are cut short, the distracted bun getting clocked in the back of the head by the mast winging violently with the wind. Dustin is flung overboard, flailing weakly as he loses consciousness and is swallowed by the sea.

The last thing he sees as he sinks is his boat sailing on without him towards the island, and a light. A beautiful, fascinating light drifting towards the drowning bun.

Dustin's eyes were still closed, but he awoke to the sensation of being wrapped up in some kind of thick fabric that aggressively rubbed him all over, like he was being squeezed inside a bag of some kind. In actuality, the cloth he was being assailed by was naught more than a large towel, clearly meant for creatures much larger than he, bundling him tight and drying him off with assertive force.

Though his whereabouts were an utter mystery, just as was the status of his ship, Dustin could feel firm hands with long fingers working his pure white prison, fluffing his fur and drying every inch of his seawater-soaked body. Almost like a... Towel?

Jostled awake by the rough towel work, Dustin groggily struggles against the dampening whiteness that surrounds him. He can't see anything but the surroundings of soft whiteness as it aggressively rubs against his body.

The last thing he remembers is being tossed into the sea, fading consciousness being met with a lovely light approaching... 'Ah,' Dustin felt in his heart, [b]'I'm dead... I'm dead and I'm on my way to heaven... This soft, jostling cocoon of fabric was transporting my soul the big pumpkin patch in the sky...'

No other explanation made sense to the bun who's still waking up. He died in the ocean and he's in his way to heaven... He just hopes the angels are cute...

The fluffy cocoon finally stopped it's assault on Dustin's fur and let him settle in it's embrace, those firm hands cradling against his back and carrying him somewhere - presumably right to the pearly gates of -

Woah! It felt like he suddenly dropped a bit, almost like some giant that was carrying him sat down all at once. His bleary eyes were greeted by the 'heavens' parting, his cocoon pried open by the hands of the angels!

"Ghhh...Hhhaaaa..."

What Dustin saw before him was a creature almost twice his size, blank white eyes staring from inside a head covered in jet-black skin and topped with ragged hair that clung to it's face. A stalk protruded from it's forehead, dangling what looked like some kind of bulb that struck a chord of familiarity within Dustin's mind - nothing concrete though, not yet. In any case, this creature probably wasn't an angel, but the cave roof that could be made out over her shoulder could lead one to a far nastier conclusion...

"GAH!!!"

Startled by a face he wouldn't call 'angellic', Dustin can't stop himself from letting out a loud and unfiltered yelp as that blank-eyed stare hovers over him. Held in this terrifying creature's lap like a swaddled baby, the startled awake bunny manages to hold still for a moment in an attempt to take in his surroundings.

He can't see much thanks to how he's being held, but he can very clearly see the roof of a cave above him, along with a repeated echoing ~drip.... drip..... drip...~ somewhere deeper in the cavern.

This was not heaven, the little bunny concludes, this is absolutely hell, and this creature is going to eat his face off at any moment. With the awakening vigor of fear surging through his little body, Dustin starts to desperately struggle against the blanketing cocoon! His immortal soul depends on it!
(Struggle)

Struggle: 25 (Faliure!)

"Uhhn-!" The frightening creature groaned, wrapping Dustin back up in the towel and holding him tightly until he tuckered out from struggling. Then, gingerly, it opened the cocoon again.

"...Mmmh?" It wasn't a word, but the rising pitch of her humming vocalization made it seem as though a question was being asked. Dustin was admittedly assuming 'her' based on the presence of large breasts blocking his view from below, but you really never did know.

"Uuuu..." The creature's hand, clawed with some slight webbing, rested against his cheek, feeling Dustin's fur. It seemed to please her, given the subtle widening of her pale, empty eyes.

"Unyu!" She abruptly dunked her face into Dustin's chest, nuzzling him while the bulb protruding from her forehead accidentally thwacked against his face. Ok, this was getting weird.

Wrapped tightly once more in the huge towel, hidden away from the fear-inducing visage of the alien that held him as suddenly as she appeared, his struggles slowly die down. Exhaustion seems to have caught up to him, if a soul could even become exhausted. He slows his breathing and closes his eyes. 'This is all a bad dream... or a prank... They wanted to give me a scare and now the next time this cocoon opens I'll be right where I'm supposed to be...'

His heart sinks as he's slowly unwrapped once more, revealing the same jet-black face with empty eyes. Dustin flinches at her touch and odd vocalizations, freezing up. This is all a bad dream, it must be. Then the creature dives for his chest and Dustin assumes this is the end..! She's going to tear out his heart and eat him from the inside, leaving him a limp husk of adorably pink fluff..!

He can fix this though, he still has some fight in him..!

Dustin's little body, despite being dry (and appearing a little larger than he really was, thanks to his fluffed up status) still managed to slip out of his captor's grasp, hearing her shout of surprise and disdain as he ran off through her wicked layer of Hell, this... Art gallery?

Now he was free, Dustin could see that the cavernous stone room he'd been taken to was covered in organized rows of paintings, picturebooks, loose sketches and photographs, was this the part of Hell they sent like, plagiarists?

The creature rose to her feet and slightly clumsily rushed after Dustin, her long limbs and heavy chest making her not all that great of a short-distance sprinter. She was pretty quiet though, entering the wee bunny boy's field of vision as she bumbled past, lowering to her knees in front of a painting.

Against The Storm

It depicted a brave sea crew holding their own against dastardly weather, shouting commands and desperately fighting to keep the vessel moving through what looked to be a tornado of some kind, judging by the textural brush strokes covering the backdrop. It was a very well-made painting, and this scary alien/demon/fish creature from Dustin's nightmares seemed insistent that he give it a look, judging by how intently she was pointing at it with both hands.

He was in absolute awe over the sheer size of the collection. He slowed his escape just enough that his captor was able to overtake him and get to the painting in question. It's a remarkably well preserved painting, though the bunny is unsure if art preservation meant anything in Hell.

Dustin nervously looks between the painting and the towering chubby creature, giving a slow nod of feigned understanding. "Yes.. that's a... a very nice painting! Very good, but... I need to get home, so..." Not picking up on the parallels between the painting and his own recent experiences, the short pink and undeniably fluffy bun slinks past her and continues his route of escape, not as fast as before, since he keeps finding his attention drawn to the various artworks lovingly decorating the cave walls, but with a hurried gait nonetheless.

Two clawed hands clamped around Dustin's sides with an audible squeak! Nuh-uh. Get back here.

His captor sat him back down and showed him the front of a picturebook she'd picked up off the ground, clearly a bed-time story for children.

Princely the Pirate and the Lovely Mermaid

She opened the book to it's inside cover where one could sign a name of the book's owner, the dotted line read Anglais in writing that... Probably wasn't hers. She pointed to herself, and then the name. Got that? Good.

A horrified yeLP! escapes the little bunny boy's throat as he's deftly pulled back and sat down next to the creature. He's still not used to looking at her, such a strange and otherworldly form, but she doesn't seem to be trying to kill him (yet)... Half out of fear and half intrigue, Dustin sits still and watches her, reading the name and following her gesturing finger. Was she... trying to communicate..?

"Anglais... is that you name..? The bewildered bun looks up to her, maybe this wasn't a mindless beast after his flesh... She might be an intelligent beast after his flesh! He stays on guard, ready to bounce off at a moment's notice.

Anglais nodded slowly, flipping the pages until she found a specific illustration: The main character, this 'Princely the Pirate' was some kind of prettyboy dolled up in a regal-looking pirate's garb, standing smugly at the prow of his ship. On the next page, he was thrown into the ocean and flailing helplessly.

"Mmng." She pointed to Princely, then to Dustin. That was him.

She skipped a few pages, pointing at an illustration of a pretty mermaid with blonde hair and green, glittering scales leading Princely by the hand to a magical kingdom populated by her kind. In the same manner as before, Anglais likened herself to this adorable cartoon mermaid.

Brow furrowed, the bunny leans in, looking over the children's book illustrations and back to the bizarre creature holding them. Slowly, the concussed bun starts to piece things together...

"I was... shipwrecked..? And I was saved..." He turns, looking up to the towering figure with wide eyes.
"by you..? I-I'm not dead..?"

Anglais shook her head, reaching out her arms and-

Depth's Embrace: 53 (Faliure!)

"Ghuuu..." She noticed that Dustin was coiled up as if about to strike her, misinterpreting why he was on-guard. Instead, she got up and went digging in her painting stash with her back to the little bunny.

Relaxing slightly, the bun is starting to understand the lack of danger he's in. Despite their difference in size, it seems like this... Woman, he's thinking of her less like an unknown creature now, more of an odd... Caretaker..? Collector..?

Whatever she is, Dustin seems willing to be patient with her, if she is the one who saved him from drowning out in the middle of the sea.

With a solid wooden *thunk*, Anglais set down an easel with a different painting from her collection, gesturing for Dustin to look.

"Uuunff!"

The Warmth of Healing

This painting wasn't action-packed, nor was it a simple illustration for young minds - this was a meticulously detailed oil piece in which a man, battered and torn, rest in the lap of a naked, ethereal maiden seemingly representing some kind of angel. It was one of those old-timey art pieces that just had a naked lady in it to seem mature, but perhaps the painter simply wanted to render some curvy breasts that day. Who was to say? In any case, Anglais seemed to be trying to indicate that Dustin most assuredly was not dead, thanks to her comfort.

"Huu-?" Oh? It seemed like she'd noticed something... Anglais knelt down and put a hand against her little rescue's chest all of a sudden.

Tilting his head, the little bunny looked over the new painting, a large and heavy one at that. Quiet contemplation crosses Dustin's face, his eyes seemingly getting caught on a particular bit of the artistic piece. He must simply be admiring the varied collection Anglais has managed to keep, safe and exquisitely preserved.

Large and Heavy... those words seem to be echoing through his mind, completely enraptured to the point that he doesn't see her reach towards him, the bunny yelping in shock as that smooth hand presses into his fluffy chest.

"Wh-what..?!" A strong blush covers the lil lapine's cheeks, embarrassed that he might have been caught... 'appreciating' fine art a bit too much.

He. Was. Damp. Just his shirt, mind you, but Anglais hadn't noticed it before until she'd spied some drops falling onto the floor. Given how aggressively he'd been towelled off before, and looking at the collection she kept in the location she kept it, it was fairly simple to put together why Anglais was so distressed at anything wet or even damp entering her dwelling. She'd already had to remove that bulky satchel thingie when she took him in, but she had no choice but to change his clothes, too...

"Mmmm!" Suddenly, Anglais grabbed the hem of Dustin's shirt and tried to pull it up and over his head! Now would probably be a good time for him to notice just how disarmed he really was.

"H-hey!! What're you..!" Dustin yelps and squirms about, trying to keep a firm grip on his shirt, but she was simply too strong to contend with and his shirt flips right over his lil head. The bun now blinded he keeps his arms in the sleeves and tries desperately to cling to his clothing! He had brought more, but the rest of his clothes were on the boat when he was sent overboard.

"Hmnf..! I-I'd like to keep this, thank you..!" Tugging hard on the damp fabric enclosed around his head, their size difference really starts to show itself as his little bunny feet leave the floor, kicking and dangling from Anglais' hand!

"Uuun! Uuuun!" Anglais stood up, carrying poor Dustin back across the room with a nerve-wracking drop awaiting him if he did wrench his shirt from her grasp. She used one arm to scoop beneath his butt and cradle him into her body, treating him like a baby throwing a tantrum as she sat back down where the towel was - atop a small pile of pillows gifted to Anglais by the other Midara living in the Cove.

"Haaa..."

With Dustin seated on her lap, Anglais tucked her towel beneath his arms and wrapped it around his torso so it would dry, noting that his shorts appeared to be damp as well... For now, she opted to just tuck the towel again beneath her bunny so as to not make him start thrashing around again, finally silencing his tantrum with a tight hug.

The fine scales that covered Anglais' body were smooth, her breasts each easily as big as Dustin's head and squishing around his snout the more pressure that was applied. If this kept going, he'd definitely sink all the way in and have his head enveloped. It was so warm, though...

She's... really comfy, but... this is all too much!

The bunny boy writhes in her strong embrace, closing his eyes and tying to not think about the embarrassing position he's in.

Anglais let out a sigh of relief as she steadily rubbed circles into Dustin's back with the towel. She just couldn't relax if there was anything soggy in her room, so she had to take any means necessary to keep her visitors dry. As she worked, her elbows pushed against the side of breasts, creating a steady puff, puff, puff rhythm that pulled her cozy little prisoner deeper into her body. With his sensitive ears, Dustin could even start to make out Anglais' heartbeat.

"Uunyeeh." She still wasn't speaking in actual words, but said that particular mumble with something resembling an affirming tone. Before Dustin could try to wriggle his way out, Anglais let go of her boobs and let them clap return to their usual position, springing back around Dustin's head and jiggling from the impact.

"Hhaaa...~" Anglais wrapped her arms around her little bunny and began to rock back and forth, once more savouring the feeling of his fur and the warmth under his skin.
