Lily growled in annoyance at the twing in her hip as she held her hip, trying once more to get up and prepare a healing dance to save herself the pain she was experiencing

Before Lily could get back on her feet, Saaku approached and did the job for her, hooking her hands beneath Lily's arms and hoisting her back up.

Bully: 9 (Critical Failure!)

"If you can't fight anymore, give up, and we'll call it there. Look at you... Naked, covered in marks, you've got my spit on your cheek, I'm seriously gonna-" Hey, all this time she's spending threatening Lily is certainly leaving her rather open to attack.

Lily smirked as she fliped around and pushed the shark woman back before making her handsigns quickly, a smirk forming as she tried summoning her spirt blades and use her ultimate

Lily tries yet again to unleash her Chimatsuri, but is forced to stop her signing to duck under a wide swing from Saaku's head-tail.

"Quit it!"

Lily pouts at the shark woman "Well if you would stop swinging i'll stop dodging" she teased as she tried ONCE MORE to use her ultimate move, she thought to herself, Am i getting repetative?

"Grrr...!"

Gnaw: 28 (Success!)

"Oh yeah!?" Saaku yelled, taking a sudden, surging step right into Lily's space. With a swift motion, she once again seized one of her wrists and pulled, shoving it into her mouth.

...What?

Even Saaku didn't seem to be very sure of this solution, the two fighters awkwardly frozen in place for a second once the appendage was secured. A bead of sweat dripped from Saaku's brow as she looked left and right. She... Didn't want to bite this girl's hand off, that was a bit extreme. Instead, she fastened her teeth onto Lily's wrist to hold it in place while her long tongue coiled around her digits, coating them in saliva.

"Blehhhhh-" Saaku let her tongue loll out as she released her hold, Lily's hand now coated in thick Midara slobber. That'll do.

Lily looked at the shark girl in awe, did she really just put her entire hand into her mouth?! She turned a deep crimson as she felt the tongue coiling around her hand as she pulled her hand back, a little aroused and grossed out by the string of saliva connecting her to the midara's tongue.

 "R...right, that really put me in my place?" she said awkwardly as she realized she had no clothing and just had to deal with it. She quickly tried to make her handsigns on final time to use her ultimate attack.

Saaku shook her head to clear the residual doubt from her last counter, stepping in and swinging with all her might to keep Lily from making those damn finger poses. Each time Lily weaved around a punch, Saaku followed it up with a swift kick or a wide swing of her head-tail, forcing her lithe feline opponent to use all her energy on evasion.

Any spectating Piranha Girls or Kelpies who hadn't backed off in fear of being caught in their crossfire watched, breath bated as the two girls found themselves in a rhythm of strikes and dodges. Saaku's single-minded rage kept her moving forward, kept her throwing out attacks that started to crack and shatter stones wherever they fell. This one-track obsession allowed Lily's body to flow like water, her dodging slowly becoming less strenuous as it continued.

She had an idea.

With her body moving as if working separately from her brain, Lily flipped away from a horizontal claw swipe, pivoting on her wrist as she touched the ground and snapping her fingers into a defined shape.

Down came Saaku's arcing punch, sending spiderweb cracks in all directions while Lily sprang back into another aerial turn, landing on her feet and making another sign behind her back.

Matsu

"UURRGAAAAHH!" This time, when the scream came, Lily didn't attempt to evade. Saaku barrelled towards her like a freight train, twisting her hips to create a mighty torque - a kick so savage one might liken it to the edge of a guillotine. Despite this, in her state of flow, Lily bore the pain of Saaku's strike against one arm, barring the Midara's leg from impacting the right side of her skull. Her left hand was poised into one final sign-

A gleaming white-blue light filled the air.

"W-What!?" Saaku's kick went slack, her grounded leg only able to push her back a single pace before the Chimatsuri's energy formed into a sphere around Lily's body. From its base, a ring of otherworldly flames expanded, from which a myriad of burning swords rose as if freshly forged. Saaku's eyes flicked from one to the other, counting the projectiles and weighing what to do, only for them to aim their points directly at her and start to fly. At the speeds they moved, Saaku had no hope of dodging, begrudgingly gritting her teeth and tucking in behind her arms to absorb as many of the hits as possible.

"Ghrk-! AAAAAAAAAGH!!"

Lily smirked as she dodged all the attacks from the shark woman, her handsigns giving her all the power she needed. The block she made caused her head to spin a bit from the impact but she didn't care she had the perfect placement to take down the shark girl finally! Her swords formed and impacted against Saaku as she let each one fly through her before she dispersed them, falling to her knee to catch her breath "L...Like that?"
