Gage vs Heel Diva Trio

Well this was just great.

Ever since Chantelle tricked him, the Divas had free reign of his gym and were using him as their personal punching bag. And the three currently across the arena's ring from him barely gave him any breathing room. He couldn't quite figure out how he had been roped into a handicap match against three Divas, but here he was. The crowd could already smell a mauling coming.

On the apron was Chantelle. He knew her, the French Trickster that had shamelessly cheated and made his life a hell of kisses and beatings. The other two, he was less familiar with, but nonetheless respected... or feared, depending on how you look at it.

The other one standing on the apron was one Yuwaku Gomon, the green-clad, Japanese, Technician who could bend him into a pretzel 100 different ways. And those were the ones he had personally experienced.

Finally, the one in the ring, and his apparent first opponent, was the Gothic Striker Bloody Maria. He was straight up scared of her. He was intimidated by her proficiency for kisses and aggressive nature, yes, but she was unnervingly violent as well. He had lost count how many of her makeouts had turned into muggings, whether or not that was due to the concussions she had given him was up for debate. He only hoped that the threat of a disqualification would deter her from dealing any lasting damage.

He needed to play his cards right however, regardless of who was in the ring. It might have been 3-on-1, but he still only had to take on one at a time. Perhaps that caveat would be the chance he needed to pull off a miracle.

=Simple Wrestling RP=

-The old ruleset applies: the rolls are 1 to 100 even rolls are a success, uneven rolls are a failure.
-Characters are allowed 1 free action but must otherwise stick to their movepools*
-Instead of VIRTUE and VICE, the adventurers have WILLPOWER and the midara have STAMINA.
-Encounters that use characters from the OpenRPG may cause a re-appearance of said midara, depending on outcome.
(*= A free move can be utilized as often as desired as long as it is used to perform a wrestling maneuver.)

Paralyzed status- Character will be unable to move next turn and will be unable to dodge the next attack

Charmed Status- The next attack dealt by the midara does +1 Willpower damage

Bind Status- Character will be unable to move and continually suffer 2 Willpower damage each turn unless they roll a 50 or higher and escape

Floored Status- Character is layed out on the ground and must either react to the next move from this position, or use a turn to get up.

Rage Status- Character must use a basic attack with 1/2 the accuracy, but 2x the damage if successful.

Rolls higher than 85 are considered critical and allows the attacker to follow up with another move

Gage's Abilities:

Mighty Tackle- Gage tackles the target and pushes them back. Does 1 Stamina damage (can be used every turn)
Powerful Physique (passive)- If an attack targeted towards him rolls a 20 or lower, the attack the damage is reduced by 1 (does not negate status effects).

Guillotine Clothesline: Gage picks up a head of steam and extends his arm out in an effort to clothesline his enemy. If it connects, it sends the enemy directly into the ground, giving a downed status and inflicting 2 damage.

Strong Grip (passive)-Whenever Gage has a midara binded at the start of his turn, the midara suffers 1 extra Stamina damage.

Finishing Move (passive)-Whenever Gage lands the final blow on a midara, the other opponents on the battlefield are intimidated, with their following attacks doing 1 less Willpower damage that turn.

Bragging Boast- Gage does his best to showboat, and all midara must make a roll. On a failure, they can only target Gage when attacking next round. If no attacks land on Gage during that time, his next attack does +3 Stamina damage (can be used every turn)

Mighty Grapple- Gage puts a midara in a Grapple, doing 2 Stamina damage and causing binded status. They can be freed if Gage decides to take a different action for the following turn (Can be used every 2 turns) If the midara chooses to counter in close proximity it could be trouble for Gage, as it's more likely to hit (if the roll is 70 and above as well as evens below 70). However, if he keeps the grapple for two turns, it can lead into his signature move or a powerful submission hold if held for one turn.

Torture Rack: If a grapple is not broken for a turn, Gage will put the midara into a torture rack maneuver, stretching out their back and putting them in a bind status while inflicting 3 damage- does not stack with Strong Grip.

Punishplex- If a midara is grappled for two turns, Gage will lift the midara into the air from behind in traditional suplex fashions but will instead spike them into the ground. A struggle roll can be used to break out of this on the same turn, which will leave Gage at a Disadvantage as a result. However, if successful, the move deals 5 stamina damage and stuns the enemy for a turn from the sheer force of the impact.

Dirty Reversals: When being attacked in certain situations, Chantelle takes advantage of her wayward moral compass to reverse the oncoming move.

With his eyes narrowed towards the terrifying trio before him, Gage knew he could show no fear. For if he did, they would smell it like blood in the water amidst a group of sharks. They’d eat him alive and then some. So, Gage, while his confidence had been wavering, decided to put on his most determined face.

First up, Maria. The odds were already against him so a beating was all but assured in this case. And this match had disqualification possibilities, so it wasn’t like he could use his sledgehammer to even the odds. Regardless, Gage pointed at the striker before him with a glimmer in his eye,

“Whether it’s 3 or the whole damn stable, you’re gonna have to work to take me down!”

Without another moment’s hesitation, the grappler bounced off the ropes to hopefully collide with Maria so as to wrap her up in a Mighty Grapple!

Starting fresh and fast, Gage bounced off the ropes and quickly spun behind Maria to catch her in a tight abdominal hold. He had it locked in and lifted her into the air.

Maria thrashed in his grip forcing him to keep his focus. She managed to catch the side of his head with an elbow, but Gage kept the hold locked in.

With a determined grunt, he hoisted the striker into the air and began to wrench her about in his arms. So far so good as far as this match goes. Despite catching a glancing blow from Maria, he couldn’t dare to drop her now. He had to tire her out at least a little bit.

“Didn’t figure you for someone to get caught off guard so easily!”

Then, Gage continued to thrash the diva about in his steel trap of a grip to continue to wear her down.

Not wasting any time, Gage hooked Maria’s head under his arm and lifted her vertically into the air. He was now preparing to give her the Punishplex right off the bat! Things could not go any better for him right now.

“Maybe so, but at least I’m earning that right now!”

Gage then glanced to Chantelle and Yuwaku with a sadistic grin.

“You two will be next, just be patient!”

Showing off his strength and finesse, Gage fell back to plant Maria on the crown of her head.

The crowd erupted at what many considered to be his signature move so early in the match. With Maria momentarily incapacitated, Gage had the opportunity to strike again.

Gage could not believe this good luck he was having with this match thus far. Might as well press the advantage while he still had one! He was even more surprised that Maria managed to stand back on her feet despite being hit with his Punishplex.

Nonetheless, the wrestler walked up to the diva before him as she was staggering to get up on her feet before driving a shoulder into her gut with a Mighty Tackle.

It seems being continuously subjected to the Divas' attacks had hardened him

His shoulder connected with the staggered Striker and he brought her to the mat.

Seeing a fist coming his way, the grappler was able to easily sidestep the strike and give a small smirk to Maria.

“Determined on not tagging out, huh? Seems like a bad idea, if I’m being honest.”

Gage looked over to see the other two heels’ reactions before he resolved to continue his onslaught on what was truly a fearsome foe thrown off her groove. But now was not the time for mercy. Now was the time to fight! Grabbing onto the striking diva’s forearm, he prepared to sling her towards himself and level her with a Guillotine Clothesline.

Despite his unexpected success, Gage got a bit too confident and his clothesline was easily ducked before Maria roughly locked lips with him. Then, keeping him in the kiss, Maria backed him into the Divas' corner. She broke the kiss only to bombard his head with angry jabs of frustration.

"You gotta wait for more of my lips, boy toy!"

Satisfied for the moment, Maria decided to tag Yuwaku, the Technician Diva, into the match.

Whiff!

What had happened to Maria moments ago had now happened to him in a vile twist of irony. Gage was shocked to have Marie press her lips into his and then drove into the corner but much more shocked to have his head be pelted with a flurry of punches. With a stagger forward, Gage could only spin around to see Yuwaku hop over the top rope and face him.

Shaking off the sluggish aura about him, he nodded to Yuwaku and grinned.

“And what’re you gonna do? Your friend could only get lucky! You sure you’re even up for the test?”

Gage looked to the crowd and raised his hands to boost his boasting’s effectiveness.

With Gage's history of good matches, mixed with the devious nature of his opponents, the crowd cheered him on with no polarity.

Turning back to his current foe, Gage had just enough time to sidestep a kick from Yuwaku.

Luck was in his corner, but he needed to stay focused nonetheless.

As the crowd shouted out words of encouragement, Gage felt a renewed energy flow through him that allowed him to see the submission specialist’s intentions as she leapt over the top rope. With a backstep, Gage deftly avoided Yuwaku’s kick and felt the inclination to dive in to attack the diva before him.

Without wasting a moment, the grappler leapt towards Yuwaku with arms outstretched to try and clamp her arms to her side in a powerful Grapple.

Gage clamped a tight hold on Yuwaku and lifted her up.

His grip did not hold as long as he thought it would, as the Technician swung her head into Gage's face, giving her the half-inch of separation she needed to slither out of the hold and take a stance.

"Watashi jishin no gēmu de watashi o utsu koto wa dekimasen!" She yelled defiantly.

Having started his success against yet another diva, Gage was pleased to have the specialist in his grasp and wringing her to and fro. However, that success was short-lived as Yuwaku deftly slipped from his grip with her lithe body. Listening to the heel taunt him, he caught just a bit of the meaning behind her words.

“I only caught a bit of that... Somethin’ about a game? Either way, you got a thick skull!”

Rushing back into the fray, Gage reached out to snag the technician’s forearm to try and put her into the ground with another clothesline attempt.

Though he managed to grab her and pull her, Yuwaku ducked under his arm.

Ducking under the oncoming arm, Yuwaku kept hold of Gage's, forcing him to turn around. She then deftly wrenched his arm, forcing him to flip forward and land on his back. She then dropped an elbow onto his affected shoulder and planted a bold kiss on his cheek before backing away with a sly smile.

As the moment went by in a flash, Gage felt his stomach drop when he wound up on his own back. The total reverse of what he wanted to happen. Such was how wrestling the divas went. Then came the brain-dampening kiss that they all used with such prowess.

Gage grunted as he propped himself up on his arm, willing himself back up onto his feet. A look of determination crossed his face as he resolved to turn the tides back in his favor.

Not wasting a moment more, Gage lunged forward towards Yuwaku to try and wrap her up in a tight grip for some revenge.

Gage's attempt was handily countered by the Technician, who now had her hands on him.

“You havin’ an off day, Yuwaku? Seems to me you’re not so sharp right now!”

The wrestler’s verbal jab at the technician was just the beginning as he didn’t back down from the woman, despite having just escaped from a hold by the skin of his teeth. Rather, the man lunged forward at the diva once more, aiming to grapple her with blinding speed and force

Again Gage went for a tight hold, but Yuwaku dipped under his grasp and slipped behind him

The Technician pulled Gage down by his shoulders, bringing his back down onto her knees in a Backstabber and his neck into a tender kiss that warmed his face.

Gage bounced back up an inch or so before falling back down to the mat. Yuwaku's face hovered into his view from the top of his periphery.

"Sumimasen, anata wa nanika o itte imashita ka?" she asked before planting a kiss on his forehead, leaving an upside-down, neon green kiss mark.

Now this was just plain annoying. Gage could not believe that not only did he whiff his move and get riposted by his opponent, but he also got shit talked at afterwards. His own medicine came in the form of a bitter pill caught in his throat, silencing his banter.

This wasn’t good.

“You talk at least... your partners just kinda seem to be relaxing on the ropes filing their nails n shit. I guess you must do all the heavy lifting, eh?”

With a glance towards Chantelle and Maria, Gage secretly hoped that maybe Yuwaku would turn on her teammates for even a moment.

Despite having failed his initial deception tactic with the master technician, Gage was determined to fool the woman.

“Not sure about all of that but if you’re half as good as you say you are, then why are you with them?”

Gage gestured once more towards the diva’s teammates in another effort to deceive her.

[Ah Damnit, I keep forgetting to translate. Sorry bout that.]

The Technician appeared unfazed by his words and simply strutted toward him.

"Jūbun'na hanashi," the Diva cooed before grasping his head ",Kisushiyō!"

She then pulled him in and bombarded his lips and cheeks with kisses before leaping and slamming him face-first into the canvas.
