Ferro Magia (Reboot) Empty
PostSubject: Ferro Magia (Reboot)   Ferro Magia (Reboot) EmptySun May 27, 2018 6:31 pm

Description: Ferro Magia is something of a freelancer, taking on several different missions, regardless of reward. If it involves Midara, it's likely he'll be there, whether it's because of them or not. Being Half-Midara himself as a special case and having met numerous good-hearted Midara, he wants to secure the safety of as many as he can. Thusly, he's dedicated to helping his mother expand the Sanctuary that she'd dreamed of long ago, to help others both human and Midara.
As a Half-Midara, unfortunately, his powers on that front are rather lacking, unlike his twin brother, Shiro. The most he can muster at his current state is a draining kiss, not that he ever uses that kind of thing. Instead, he's taken to his various combat skills from his trusty iron staff, to his hand-to-hand, right down to the spells he's picked up from his mother. Unlike his mother, however, he's taken to the much more stable side of magic, using runes and catalysts to channel his magic through in order to prevent any misfires or failed spells.

Appearance: Ear-length white hair, lightly tan skin, green eyes, athletic physique, 6'5. He wears whatever he wishes, normally wearing a sleeveless red tunic and carries a metal staff around. Around his neck is a necklace with a silver pendant made to look like a feather.

//Unarmed

(Passive) Pressure Points - When Ferro fights with unarmed attacks, he usually goes for specific points on the opponent's body that can collectively slow down and even disable them in places. Most unarmed attacks can attach a Pressure token to the target, and as more tokens stack up, the harsher the effects.
5 - Defense Down (Temp): The target takes an extra point of damage for three turns.
10 - Exhaustion: Lowers the damage received from all the target's attacks by 1 point, to a minimum of 1 damage.
15 - Defense Down (Permanent): You can probably guess this one.
20 - Sluggish: Target's attacks have Disadvantage for the rest of the encounter.

Palm Strike - Hit the opponent with an open palm attack, dealing 1 damage.

Fleet Combo - A three hit combo move where Ferro knees the opponent in the gut, then thrust his fist at the opponent's chest and then elbows them in the side. Each attacks requires a Successful roll to deal each piece of damage, which, individually, deals 1 damage. Each successful hit can stack Pressure.

Reversal Counter - Ferro stands at the ready, swinging the target around and throwing them to the ground when they try to attack him. Deals 3 damage, but does not stack Pressure.

Gargoyle Rush - Ferro launches himself at the target fully and slams his fists into the opponent in a precise, firm strike. Inflicts 2 damage.

Ground Pound - Ferro grabs the opponent with an iron grip, before he suplexes the opponent hard into the ground, dealing 4 damage. Special Attack, only available every ten turns and does not stack Pressure.

///Armed

Double Thrust - Roll twice, each successful roll deals 1 damage. Each hit has a 10% chance to stun.

Helm Splitter - Swings the staff at the opponent's head, dealing 3 damage. Cooldown of 8 turns. Has a 30% chance to stun.

Iron Shot - Calling upon his magic, he reshapes his metal staff into six projectiles which he fires off at the target(s). Deals half a point of damage with each successful roll. Each hit has a 5% chance of stunning.

///// Spells

Tremor - Makes the earth quake, disorienting the target and those close to them, dealing only 1 damage, but dealing Disadvantage to all enemies.

Steel Jaws - Ferro's teeth harden into steel-like fangs, allowing him to bite his opponent brutally. Auto breaks a bind if successful, deals 2 damage. Cooldown of 8 turns.

Draining Ivy - Ferro creates a series of vines to wrap around the target and bind them down, leeching HP from them and healing him for 1 point of health per turn the target is bound.

Dragon Pillar - Ferro pounds his staff into the ground, pouring his magic through it like a conduit before a thicker pillar, similar in appearance to his staff, rises from under the target and bashes them upward. Deals 3 damage, but has a Cooldown of ten turns.

Heavy Breeze - Creates a strong gust of wind that pushes the target back a ways and keeps pushing. Deals 1 damage and repels the target out of melee range, giving disadvantage to all melee attacks until they use a turn to close the distance or land a melee attack in spite of the condition.

Spore Spread - Ferro creates a mushroom of varying colors and spores, each one baring different effects. As with Rune Traps, casting this spells activates a secondary roll on success to determine the effect, unless he desires a specific one, in which case the second roll is ignored.

1-33: Poison - 1 damage per turn, for 3 turns
34-66: Paralysis - Unable to move or avoid the next attack next turn
67-100: Fear/Hallucinations - For the next 3 turns, the target can't see the world around them correctly. They can still attack, but if they're next move is to strike, a die is rolled to decide who they target, including their own allies

Rune Trap - Ferro pours out his mana into the floor or surface, creating a rune that activates when a hostile gets too close. On success, either roll a dice to randomly determine the element used or use a more specific element based on player discretion. All traps have a 33% chance of triggering after successfully being created for three turns.

1-50: Earth - Creates a pit under the victim, inflicting Downed status
51-100: Wind - Creates a blustering twister that violently spins the target around a spell, inflicting Disadvantage for 2 turns.

//Defensive Skills:
Meditate - Lowers all damage received by 2 points for three turns. Cooldown of ten turns, Auto Success.

Remedy - From the earth sprouts a pristine golden flower, its petals capable of curing and easing ailments. Cures Ferro of non-physical status ailments. Auto Success with a cool down of eight turns.

Nine Kata - Ferro performs a series of hand gestures in unison with several chants to redirect his thoughts and clear his mind. Roll nine dice, every successful roll heals 1 willpower/stamina.

Reinforce - Gives advantage to all staff attacks for the next three turns. Usable only once every battle. Auto Succeeds, Cooldown of ten

Stone Skin - Ferro uses his magic to make his skin as hard as stone, giving his unarmed attacks Advantage for three turns. Auto Succeeds, Cooldown of ten

Summon Petra - Ferro summons a rather sizable wolf pup to assist him in battle with five health and a few basic attacks. Usable once per battle.
*Bite - Basic attack, dealing 1 damage
*Headbutt - Doesn't hurt at all, but it is disarmingly adorable. Grants Ferro Advantage on his next move. Usable only once.
*Peppy Pup - With a chipper bark and a wagging tail, Petra hops into her master's arms and gives him a giddy round of puppy breath and doggy kisses, reducing damage to Ferro by 1 point for 3 turns.

//Fetishes

Lipstick - If a Midara uses Lipstick and leaves kiss marks behind, it'll do him one better than the typical damage. +2 Damage from Lipstick utilizing moves.

Large Breasts - If there's something Ferro and his brother have in common, it's a preference for bigger chests. This gives any attacks using big tits Advantage against Ferro.

Hypnosis - Though Ferro has had a lot of practice in more magical ways, he's rather lacking against mental attacks and has a hard time fighting against hypnotic effects. Hypnosis, brainwashing, and any other mental attacks gain Advantage.

Yang's Breasts - Yang's breast attacks now hit automatically, and Too Sexy for This has a 50% chance to OHKO Ferro.

Pheromones/Aromas - All attacks that incorporate pheromones or something similar have advantage.

Bubblegum - Attacks utilizing bubblegum now have Advantage against him.

Feet - Ferro is Stunned the first time he's hit by a Foot attack each encounter.

///Resistances and Immunities

Farts - I can't even believe that's a fetish to some people. While Ferro is fine with perfume and incenses, one aromatic strategy he does not approve of is a woman's gas. Getting hit with a move like this will be completely reduced to one point of damage and up his next attack by two points.

Sadistic Pleasure - Ferro doesn't take to Sadism the way others might and while he will still take damage from it, it will be reduced by one point.

Okay. Glad that's been added, because I was really confused when that supermode came out of nowhere during the fight with Marisa.

Is That a Motherfucking JoJo's Reference - (This is for shits and giggles) Shiro strikes a lovely pose, flexing his athletic physique for his target to enjoy as random japanese text appears in the background. Don't ask him what it means, he can't read Japanese. Deals 2 damage and Charms the target.

xDD i love it

Ferro's getting an alternate moveset, but it's not finished yet.

Thanks to Dataslycer, SoloWingPixy, and DarkHeroAxel for helping me make it and balance it

Ferro Magia has been adjusted for the new canon! All pre-existing summons are gone, and a new summon has taken their place. Some tweaks to his weaknesses have been made and his description has been change as well.

Reworking Ferro's moveset.

The main goal is to work up his unarmed move list, but I've already made several tweaks and additions.

Just let me know if there's any midara you want to try him out against once his rework is ready.

I've made more tweaks to Ferro's moveset, most notably stripping away he secondary effects of most of his Unarmed attacks and giving them a consistent Passive mechanic. The token stack effects are more of a working set-up and I'm happy to take suggestions on how I can better balance the Pressure Point stack effects
