Tobias vs the Bewitching Elise

Tobias found himself in a forest of dead trees. He had been called in not to deal with a midara like usual, but instead to get rid of an infestation of giant spiders that had been encroaching on the nearby town.


Tobias: 30 Willpower

Tobias decide to take a bit of walk around the forest as his finger made a little flame to be something like a candle in the dark forest "infestation,where can be thatspider nest?"

As Tobias explored, he saw plenty of spiderwebs in the tress, but not the spiders that made them.



Tobias: 30 Willpower

Tobias continue walking through the forest taking in mind everything can be important to remind or any strange details "nothing here, maybe there or not?" said him as he take more step deeper in the forest.

As if in response to his words a gust of wind blew by him, and Tobias could almost hear the sound of a feminine giggle being carried by it.

Tobias try to search the source of that voice stying alert for anything can ambush him taking a flame in his hand as he walk toward eh swear he heard it, "suspicious, i'm not sure if is a good idea but lets try it" saying that tobias tried to found the owner of that voice

Tobias searched but couldn't find anyone.

Tobias walked more deeper the forest starting to think his is mision is a fraud "is taking my patience away.."

"Is it?" the wind playfully whispered in his ear with that feminine voice again.

"Yeah,i found nothing " he aswered not taking importance about the voice as he continue walk

Deeper into the woods, the man walked. His every step was followed by more of that teasing laughter.

Tobias sighed in frustation and just keep walking until something happen in front of his eyes ,hopin in not lost interest to this mision

Suddenly several giant spiders scuttled by. One of them stopped in front of Tobias and bared its fangs at him.


Tobias: 30 Willpower
Spiderling: 2 Stamina

Tobias just sighed in relief for something to beat as he throw a knife at the weir spider

Knife

(Knife -roll 90- Crit Success!)

The knife struck the spider, and the beast cried out in pain as the blade was lodged into its exoskeleton.

Spiderling: 1 Stamina

Tobias just try to finish off the spider with a quick cut then he can resume his mision after this little training.

The spider evaded the bite before it leapt onto Tobias and sunk its fangs into his face.


Tobias: 29.5 Willpower + Poisoned(2) + Stunned
Spiderling: 1 Stamina

"Guh!" Tobias try to cover his face but the bite let him paralized for a short time as he take care to not let his guard down

The aggressive spider injected more poison into him before it leapt off Tobias.

Spiderling: 1 Stamina

Tobias in a better position try to throw a knife at it for make a finish blow and continue his road "can you reveal youself,please?"

The giant spider lunged at Tobias and he quickly threw his knife at the beast. The blade struck, killing the animal, but altered its flight so that it slammed into his crotch.


Tobias: 26.5 Willpower + 2xPoisoned(1)

Tobias just try to continue walking toward his "objective" to see if he finaly found it or her "i will not harm you,so please reveal youself"

"Why should I?" the wind whispered in the man's ear. "Are game has only just begun."

Tobias just continue searching for the source of the whisper as he keep a flame in his hand in a way to stay safe

Suddenly, the ground gave way beneath him and Tobias fell into darkness. His descent was slowed by several spiderwebs that blocked the way and he landed unharmed in a dimly lit room. On the edge of the shadows, Tobias could make out a feminine silhouette standing in the darkness.

"Well, you finally found me." the woman said. "What do you plan to do now?"
