Sieq and Elvina visit New Donk City

"Man, this place is the best!" The tour guide said as he exited out of the men's washroom. "Oh hey, you're up! And it sounds like your friend is too! I'll keep her company while you clean up." he then went to go let Elvina in.

"Huh? Oh hey... um, yeah, thanks. And thanks for showing us this place." Sieq was a bit slow on the uptake, but he excused himself into the washroom right after the tour guide went on his way. He was gonna have to take a bit longer than usual considering... last night.

Elvina smiled as the door opened "Good morning~ How is our favorite tour guide?" She asked as she walked in happily taking the time to talk with the Toad tour guide while waiting for Sieq

"I'm doing great!" he said with a beaming smile. "I was out like a light and now I'm fully refreshed and ready to continue the tour! How about you? You get a good night's sleep?"

Elvina nodded and flexed playfully "Oh yeah, i slept great, feel like a new woman!" She said before giggling. "Oh btw i feel bad for waiting so long to ask but what is your name?"

"Oh, that's alright. I'm Dit T., but you can just call me Dit!" he told her.

Sieq emerged from the washroom as freshened up as he ought to be. He was ready to hit the town again, wondering if he'd submit so easily at their next destination as he did at the dance club. "Hey.... what's up?" He called out to Elvina.

Elvina waved to sieq "Heya~ ready to continue exploring the town?" She asked before smiling to Dit "Also nice to fully meet you Dit~"

"Yeah, I'm as ready as I'll ever be. I had a weird dream, but I'm sure I'll be fine." Sieq responded to Elvina before waving to the tour guide and committing his name to memory, Dit.

Dit just smiled at the elf. "Nice to meet you, too. So, where would you guys like to go next? New Donk City still has so many major attractions that you haven't seen yet!"

"Let's see... Elvina did you wanna pick out a destination? I think the observatory would be neat to check out, myself, but I'm cool with whatever." Sieq suggested with a shrug, willing to go anywhere as long as it was somewhere new.

Elvina hums in thought before smiling and nodding "Wouldn't it be better to do the Observatory near night fall? That way we can see the stars if they let us look through the telescope! What other places could we go to?" She asked looking over to Dit

"Well, you've already been to the Koopa Cafe and the All-in-One Sports Arena. So that leaves The Peach Gardens, City Hall, The Night Bird Lounge, and the Comet Observatory." Dit explained.

"In that case, we can try the gardens or city hall. Those seem more like daytime venues." Sieq suggested, confident that they should head to either of those destinations first. The lounge and observatory felt more like night-time destinations, as Elvina pointed out about the observatory.

Elvina smiles and nods as she felt her excitment growing "Let's do the garden, i love peaches and i actually cared for a garden when i lived at my home!"

"Heh, well it's more that the woman who owns the garden is named Peach, but I think there might be a few actually peach trees." Dit clarified as he led the group out of the hotel. Hopping out of the vase they used to enter the building and landing on the sidewalk, the tour guide looked back at his companions. "Ready to get going?"

"As ready as ever. Let's go. Maybe we can meet Peach when we get there." Sieq agreed as he followed the tour guide. "So, you had a garden? What's that like? I've never tried growing any plants myself."

Elvina nodded as she began following Dit "It was this large garden that surrounded my back yard, it was both in the mountain we built into and outside it just enough so i got to care for so many unique plants! I even accidentally made a Alurane one day but since she was born around my family we taught her to not drain people forcefully. She even got a cute girlfriend one day that helped me care for the garden!" She said, her cheeks blushing a little remembering the cute couple

"Wow, that sounds incredible!" Dit said as he began to lead their group to the gardens. In no time at all, the group was out of Little Subcon and back in New Donk City proper.

"Yeah, two Alraunes looking after the garden, eh? I think I read somewhere that having an Alraune in your garden means you're doing something right. But... maybe that's just the testimony of someone with a thing for flower girls." Sieq chatted as he followed Dit's lead.

Elvina giggled and shook her head "No no, it's one alraune and her elven girlfriend~ but yes Alraunes like to take root in well taken care of gardens. I ended up leaving my garden in her hands too so one day when i return i expect more to have taken root there~" She said as they continued walking

"Yeah, I think that garden's in good hands. That's swell to hear. Let's see how the gardens here compare to it, shall we?" Sieq chatted with Elvina, impressed with what he heard about her garden.

Elvina giggled and nodded as they walked, the small elf taking a moment to check her bag to see how much money she had in case she'd need to purchase entry

Sieq stretched and checked his own funds as well. He wasn't worried about going broke, but he wanted the chance to splurge just a bit if he had it in him. And apart from that, he couldn't wait to reach the gardens.
